James Free did what two other reputable jewelers in Oakwood said couldnt be done to my rings. They carved channels and added small diamonds to my engagement ring, and put a small diamond in the wedding band. It gave the subtle sparkle thats been missing and wanted. My husband suprised me for our 20th anniversary, with a stop at James Free. I was not looking my best going in due to yard work and painting, and I was more than a bit embarrassed going into the store. But, my salesman treated me like royalty, answered every question, and made me feel very comfortable. My rings are spectacular, and I cant thank them enough for the quality work they have done to my beautiful rings. I will always come back for my jewelry purchases, and any maintenance.

The design experience was good, rings are beautiful. Sherry was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, one of the two custom rings lost a stone only a couple weeks after we received them. Sherry said they will remake the ring but honestly, that makes me pause about the quality of the rings. We paid nearly $4k for two platinum rings with stones and one has already come apart. Hopefully the next ring is better.

I needed a certain John Hardy bracelet for a birthday gift. They had the item, beautifully gift wrapped it and had it to me within 3 days. Dropped off watches for repair and maintenance, customer service was great, and while one watch took some time (out of their control), my wife's watch was serviced and returned quickly. Both watches look great and are working fantastic.

I started my experience with James Free passing by on a whim. I didn't happen to be dressed well and only had an idea of what I may wanted. The minute I walked in the door I was greeted Maha and I couldn't have asked to be treated any better. Throughout the next month their team found exactly what I wanted and even something special for my spouse. The jewelry is of the best quality and design. All of the staff, management and even the owner are an absolute pleasure to work with. There is no question I will be back for years to come.
The first time I visited the store it was to have my watch (which was purchased elsewhere) cleaned and the battery replaced. The owner treated me like I was a long-time customer. He even offered to have my wedding band cleaned and polished! Great customer service in a lovely store.

Wonderful shopping experience at JF! We were buying a diamond ring for my 70th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary. I was greeted by Sergio and, after hearing our plan, he introduced us to Patricia, the custom designer. They both worked with us for quite some time, done without my calling ahead for an appointment. We returned about a week later to see the mock-up and finalize details. I just picked up my new ring which, in a word, is stunning! Patricia is a fantastic designer and kept me informed every step of the way. Both Sergio and Patricia were patient, pleasant, professional. Couldn't be happier.
Can't say enough about how AWESOME the James Free Jewelers shopping experience has been. In the past couple of months I have purchased 4 pieces of Maria Tash jewelry all at 20% off! Aside from the discount shipping was super fast and customer service notified me they received my order and also when my order shipped. A couple of items were on back order; however, customer service contacted me promptly and asked if I wanted to wait or if I wanted to cancel my order. This company personalizes the shopping experience, rather than just getting a cold computer generated message saying on back order. Ms. Nichole Eicholtz contacted me regarding the back order. She was polite, professional and answered my questions. When I received my order I was pleasantly surprised to find a hand written note thanking me for my purchase! Again, what an Awesome company! It was great to walk into what, quite frankly was a much higher end jeweler than I would normally go to, and find such an enormous selection of great quality product to choose from. The staff was so friendly and willing to educate me and did not pressure me into buying something I didnt want. It was a great experience and I will definitely be back in the future.

I'm in Florida and James Free is in Ohio. It is like they are next door. So seamless to work with. They even had a piece made for me out of Italy. They took care of EVERYTHING.
As is customary, James Free has the best customer care team in the business. If Ms. Hiroko is not there everyone leans forward to support. They are all well informed on every jeweler that is on display, giving me insights to their style and inspiration, they let me see more than just the beautiful pice the show me the soul of the artist.

I took my wedding rings in for repair and inspection. The jeweler did a beautiful job, returned them to me quickly, and the price was reasonable. He cleaned and buffed them so well they looked like they did the day I got them 15 years ago; amazing!

James Free was able to obtain a Rolex Air King that I desired. However, were unable to make me a competitive offer on my current Rolex that I was trading in. The staff was professional but in the end I will go to another Rolex retailer to obtain this watch.
