James Free did what two other reputable jewelers in Oakwood said couldnt be done to my rings. They carved channels and added small diamonds to my engagement ring, and put a small diamond in the wedding band. It gave the subtle sparkle thats been missing and wanted. My husband suprised me for our 20th anniversary, with a stop at James Free. I was not looking my best going in due to yard work and painting, and I was more than a bit embarrassed going into the store. But, my salesman treated me like royalty, answered every question, and made me feel very comfortable. My rings are spectacular, and I cant thank them enough for the quality work they have done to my beautiful rings. I will always come back for my jewelry purchases, and any maintenance.
I bought a Gucci choker online and after confirming the purchase they emailed me back to tell me they had sold it in the store AFTER I had placed the order online. I spoke with Molly on the phone who seemed unsympathetic and more seemed to enjoy arguing than being helpful. That is not good customer service... Your policies are unfair to customers and I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated.

The bracelet I originally ordered for my girlfriend was canceled as it was not in stock(but the site should have prevented me from ordering). As a result of this, I ended up having nothing to present to her on the big day(Christmas)
After the bracelet mishap, I ordered two different rings for her to try. The one ring, after 2 hours started to turn her finger green. I'm unsure if the ring was real/or if the quality is poor. But regardless this has made for a terrible all-around experience.
Justin, in the Montgomery store, is very knowlegable about watches and has been a big help. I hope to do more business in the future.

I purchased the ring on a weekend and received a call on Monday morning to confirm and discuss delivery options. I choose to pick up at the Kettering store and everything went smoothly. Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish.
I like the product BUT the peace symbol came off the chain and trying to get it back on over the loop that is for a shorter look took me 1/2 hour - seriously. You might include instructions of how to get them back together when (and they will) come apart. I had to use a sewing needle to push the chain through - and I bet most people don't have sewing needles any more. Even that was a challenge. You can imagine how thrilled I was getting them back together and as luck would have it I had an appt. To get to so I was not pleased to spend the time grappling with it.

I ordered a pair of Gucci earrings a couple weeks prior to Christmas. They were supposed to be here in 2 days. Unfortunately, JamesFree Jewelry had to reorder more inventory because they ran out. They did not convey this information to me. I called customer service and inquired as to where my earrings were when they did not arrive within 1 week. The rep explained to me what happened, offered to gift wrap them and gave me overnight shipping when the inventory was replenished to ensure they arrived by Christmas. Overall, that was excellent customer service and I would definitely order from this jeweler again in the future.
