James Free did what two other reputable jewelers in Oakwood said couldnt be done to my rings. They carved channels and added small diamonds to my engagement ring, and put a small diamond in the wedding band. It gave the subtle sparkle thats been missing and wanted. My husband suprised me for our 20th anniversary, with a stop at James Free. I was not looking my best going in due to yard work and painting, and I was more than a bit embarrassed going into the store. But, my salesman treated me like royalty, answered every question, and made me feel very comfortable. My rings are spectacular, and I cant thank them enough for the quality work they have done to my beautiful rings. I will always come back for my jewelry purchases, and any maintenance.
I bought a Gucci choker online and after confirming the purchase they emailed me back to tell me they had sold it in the store AFTER I had placed the order online. I spoke with Molly on the phone who seemed unsympathetic and more seemed to enjoy arguing than being helpful. That is not good customer service... Your policies are unfair to customers and I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated.
Price. Quality. Service. All three were a ten.The necklace was sent immediately and with beautiful packaging. I could not be happier and will use them again if the need arises. Thank you.

This ring is for a gift, and it looks very nice. Ordering online was easy and the shipping was fast. I look forward to giving it to my husband on Christmas.
I live out of state and needed to order a charm as a Christmas present for my mom who lives in Dayton. She has a bracelet with silhouette charms of all her grandchildren but I could not find the item on the website to purchase (all past charms have come from James Free as well). I called the 800 number and spoke with Abby Glendenning who took all of my information, got me pricing, and even posted the item on the website temporarily to allow me to make the purchase. She was very helpful, lightning quick in email replies, and provided all the info I needed to ensure that the charm would be ready for pickup in time for our family's Christmas celebration. She again emailed a day before I was supposed to pick up alerting me that the item was ready ahead of time and waiting if I was in town. Pick up was a breeze in the store and overall the experience was a great one thanks to Abby's attention; all for an $18 charm. Please ensure that Abby gets some type of recognition for making this an easy and pleasurable experience.
I had rings resized and vintage pearls earrings with screw backs repurposed into pearl charms to hang from hoops. Liz was very helpful & knowledgeable. She is delightful to work with.

Recently went into James Free to have some rings resized and cleaned. The service was very reasonable and the turnaround time was quick. Made my wife's 30+ year old wedding rings sparkle.
I made 2 purchases in a month, and both had upcharges when I picked up the items. I was told I had approved the charges. I did not forget extra charges for two times.
The staff was very professional and knowledgeable on what I was inquiring. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to doing businessfuture.
