Man first off this is my first time ordering from Jegs I got a lot of stuff coming and the lady at extension 2005 forgot her name she works evenings she is a total sweetheart I orderd my stuff through affirm and had some issues she helped me through it all nicest lady I've talked to from a bussiness n a very long time Jegs you all have my bussiness over anybody keep that lady she knows how to treat customers very well too of that give her a raise I couldent be any happier with how I was treated thank you so much
They charge large shipping fees (non refundable) and will eventually (multiple weeks late) deliver without the ability to cancel. You won't get a refund and any type of escalation they will refuse to talk to you.
Very poor customer service. Excruciating hold times. Will not stand behind products they sell. Don't use Jegs
Parts look up gave me wrong part number. I had to return at my expense. Processing order took forever. Never again!

I ordered over $8000 of automotive items from Jegs in June. This included an ATK crate engine, headers, fluids, fuel pump, shifter, hoses and other items. The sales rep (Bert) appeared really helpful and knowledgeable, and we talked over a 4 day period before I finally decided what I wanted. Bert assured me that all of the items would work with my 1987 El Camino.
The first items to arrive included the shifter (over $400) which would not work with my application and the 2004r transmission. Jegs accepted a return but I had to pay the freight for an item I was told would work, but was would not. Strike 1
I received the other items and the crate engine sometime later and all appeared to be what would work.
After spending over $8000 on parts, I had to save up to be able to have a mechanic install the engine and other items (I'm 75), Fast forward approximately 4 months of eating ramen noodles and beans and I have the money for installation. The mechanic had the engine installed and was working on the in tank fuel pump ($403.95). The mechanic called me and said the pump would not work with my stock fuel tank.
I found a universal fuel injection rated pump from Jegs and ordered it. Then I called the customer service department to get authorization to return the incorrect pump. Answer: NO, YOU CAN NOT RETURN IT. NO NOT EVEN WITH A RESTOCKING CHARGE.
I promptly cancelled the Jegs order for the universal fuel pump and placed an order with Summit for the same pump at the same price. Summit rocks!--Jegs will not get another dime of my business.
You would think I would have learned not to trust everyone in the 75 years I've been here, but I guess I'm just gullible.

With the price of gas now, I could have used that $400 spent on the incorrect pump to fill my tank sever times.

WE have a real problem! I placed an order for over $2000 on November 24,2020. Thus far, this order has been screwed up at least three times now by this Melanie LaCount with the last one being within the last couple of days. I have been lied to with regard to delivery dates for my rear wheels and for my aluminum wire looms which were both supposed to be sent out in early December Per the conversation I had with one year service staff; I received a notice from this Melanie on 12/30/20 advising me that my aluminum wire loom delivery date is going to be pushed out until February; I requested that she cancel that particular item on the order as I would get it elsewhere (I have one expected to arrive tomorrow). She responded very shortly thereafter advising that she had canceled the order; I quickly responded asking if this meant that she also canceled my rear wheels and got no response. In looking at my order today, I noticed the rear wheels on even on the order anymore although the aluminum wire loom is still there. My guess is that she has canceled the rear wheels not refunded any money I left the damn wire looms intact. I am well beyond irritated at this point, I have called the bank and I can and likely will reverse the charges and less something is done ASAP. The next person I want to hear from is a supervisor not wanting your line staff. I absolutely DO NOT want this Melanie person to even touch my account anymore. I have tried to be patient understanding all the shipping issues around Christmas and whatnot, but this is gotten well beyond ridiculous. If I do not hear from someone by 5 o'clock tomorrow I will spend the evening making repetitive phone calls and not be willing to spend over an hour on hold and emails until I do get a response. If I still don't get a response I will be making a trip to my bank on Thursday morning. As it stands I have cleared out my entire wish list from your website as you probably lost the customer over this. So much for satisfaction absolutely guaranteed! FIX IT

Jeg's refused to honor their "Guarantee Lowest Price Match" even after identifying 2 retailers that sell the same item for a normal price of $64.28.
The price match policy is as follow: "The price match guarantee does not apply to refurbished, closed, or close out sales. JEGS reserve the right to determine the eligibility of all price matched items."
Located a Lund ******* Genesis Roll-Up Tonneau Cover on Amazon advertised for $64.28 with free shipping however it would be approx. 30 days to ship.
Found it at Walmart for the same price ($64.28) but it was out of stock. Continued searching and found it at Jeg's. Noticed Jegs had a "guarantee lowest price match policy".
Ordered the item and provided Jegs's will the websites as instructed to verify the price which they did. However they would not honor the price and informed me to order it from Amazon.
The informed me:
1. The price listed was a mistake. I called Amazon and verified the
Price was correct.
2. The price was much less then most sellers so it was outdated. Again
I verified with Amazon and the price was correct.
3. Jeg's stated they couldn't confirm the price even though they were

4. Stated the price of the competitors is to good to be true.
5. Stated Walmart is out of stock so they couldn't verify the price. They

The main reason i originally didn't order from Amazon and place the order with Jeg's was because Jeg's was able to ship quicker and the "Lowest Price Guarantee Price Match".
In conclusion all the stipulations for the "Price Match" were met. Don't advertise it if your not going to honor it.
Was looking at a motor to order the first of November 2021 and cart said motor would ship the middle of November so I called and ordered the motor on November 8th and was told motor would ship Dec 15th. So on Dec 15th I call jegs to inquire about order and was told they would call vendor to check on order. After checking with vendor I was told it would be another 2 months before it would ship. So I asked about being compensated for the delay as I was planning a trip as soon as I got my motor in. Was told by customer service the would send me a jegs t shirt for the inconvenience which I told them that was unacceptable so she told me she would put me with her supervisor which could compensate me in some way so he says he will call the vendor himself and check on it. He gets back with me and says that it will more than likely be the middle of June 2022 before my motor ships so I asked about compensation for the inconvenience and he says all the could do was send me a jegs t shirt for the inconvenience and that I could cancel my order if I was unhappy with the service or compensation they offered. So I started checking around to see if any other companies could any better. I decided on waiting before I made a decision on any of it. Well I get up this morning Dec 21st to a phone call from a shipper wanting to schedule a time to deliver my motor from at worldwide. Needless to say customer service never called the vendor at to inquire about my order. I WILL NEVER ORDER FRO JEGS AGAIN NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY!

(Place an order by 11 ships same day) OUTRIGHT LIE. Placed an order Sunday night the 6th, first of all i never received any invoices or Tracking numbers and 2 of 3 of the Parts were left at my door with NO notification or Tracking Numbers sent at all. 2 Day's later the 8th i had to call and ask for the last part still missing.The part was suppose to be ordered Sunday the 6th, they said they placed the order from another vendor, when i called back on the 8th telling them i never received any invoices or tracking number's only to find out the part from the so called other vender was never ordered so she did it and sent me the invoice's and tracking number for the order and the last part on the 8th, after i already had 2 of the 3 parts. (The last part was not ordered until i called back for the tracking numbers and invoices on the 8th) it's now the 10th, and it turns out it was ordered 2 day's late from Classic Industries all the way across the Country and is still sitting in Anaheim California not going to be here until the 17th. Placed the order on the 6th still waiting for the last part not due until the 17th. Tell me is that ships overnight to you? Will be the last time i do anything with Jeg's. 2 of 3 part's delivered before any invoices or tracking numbers, last part ordered 2 day's late when i finally got the invoices and tracking number for the missing part is when i found out i had to wait until the 17th to get the last part. (Good luck when you order anything from Jegs and they tell you they can get it from another Vendor.) Parts before invoices or tracking numbers so you never see where or what the date is you will receive the part from the other vender.
I ordered some rotors, brake pads, and calipers from this company back at the beginning of October. Upon placing the order I was told that some items were backordered and that they would ship within the next week.
When that day came, I received another email stating that the items were still backordered. They kept pushing the date back after this, so I ended up calling them. They unapologetically told me that they didn't have a shipping date as the "container hasn't left overseas", so I asked them to cancel the order.
I never got the refund for the order (nor any confirmation emails), so I called back asking for updates. The rep told me that it was already canceled and that I should receive the refund the next business day if I haven't already.
Low and behold, I was shipped a part of the order that next week. I called again asking why I received this package, and they told me it wasn't their fault (it was the manufacturer who shipped it to me). I demanded that they send a pick up the order as I couldn't lug around a (destroyed) box full of rotors and brakes. They told me that FedEx would pick it up the next day.
I waited around that entire day, and nobody came. So I called yet again asking why no one was there. She ended telling me that the order was not canceled, only converted to another order... WHAT?!
She told me that she would actually cancel the order and I would get a real confirmation.
I FINALLY received the refund credit for everything except the shipment that they sent me after a few days, to which I had to call them another time to get a re-pickup attempt.
This whole process was like pulling teeth, and never once during the plethora of calls did they ever apologize or seem sympathetic for wasting a large portion of my time. They just relayed the information in a matter-of-fact tone and asked if there was anything else I had questions about.
Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS RETAILER AT ALL COSTS! The headache and lack of organization in this company is not worth dealing with. This has been one of the worst online purchase experiences I've had.
They ship out wrong parts and we have to pay to ship them back... NOT WITH SUMMIT AND MOST PLACES! NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP AT JEGS

Ordered a helmet on January 11th and isn't gonna get shipped till April 31st due to miscommunication with vender. Incredibly annoying
I bought 4 Crager rims from Jegs, when they arrived two of the rims where bent, they told me they couldn't get another set for two months, we decided that if i could get them straighted they would pick up the cost of the repairs. It was $150 to repair these rims, Jegs sent me a $75 store credit. [not happy] they blamed fed ex for damaging during shipping.
Next purchase, A cam timing belt drive system from Speed Master. [$495] I recieved the item and it was not complete and missing pieces, we called speed master who said they had a recall on the part. I called Jegs and explained what was happening and they sent me an RMA number. I take the package to Fed ex to mail it back and got charged out of my pocket to send it back, then according to Jegs it got lost with fed ex and they didn't have it and couldn't locate it after it being in the mail for three weeks. They had a tracking number WTH? So they finally get it back after 4 weeks. I call and they tell me they are charging me a 25% restocking fee. UNACCEPTABLE... finally after a few ugly moments I got management involved and they refunded the full price. This was the most difficult/frustrating return i have ever experienced with a supposedly high end parts company. This also put my race motor over a month behind, [Not that they cared] i have bought parts from multiple race companies and never had these kind of problems. I will NEVER shop at Jegs again. I am a very reasonable person and understand business and problems that arise, but they DROPPED the ball Big time on over $1500 worth of products. Very dissapointed customer
