Man first off this is my first time ordering from Jegs I got a lot of stuff coming and the lady at extension 2005 forgot her name she works evenings she is a total sweetheart I orderd my stuff through affirm and had some issues she helped me through it all nicest lady I've talked to from a bussiness n a very long time Jegs you all have my bussiness over anybody keep that lady she knows how to treat customers very well too of that give her a raise I couldent be any happier with how I was treated thank you so much
They charge large shipping fees (non refundable) and will eventually (multiple weeks late) deliver without the ability to cancel. You won't get a refund and any type of escalation they will refuse to talk to you.
There was a problem with my order. Summit had the same problem and refunded. I thought this was going to be a hassle but when I called the money had al;ready been refunded.
It took over 7 calls and 5 hrs to try and find my purchase, and its still not resolved! They sent the package to fed ex without my address! Still trying to get it resolved.
What are the transmission took a long time to get. Sold me a Boss Hog torque converter sold me a Jegs torque two torque converters no transmission I ordered it TCI transmission. So I finally get the transmission about the guy TCI told me if I didn't have a TCI torque converter they did not have a warranty send a pickup order for the Jegs torque converter no problem order did TCI torque converter by the time they came in already had the Boss Hog in it needless to say Transmissions messed up no warranty surprise surprise surprise. I'm not telling you what to buy or who to buy it from but I learned my lesson good luck
Bait and switch
Can not review the product yet due to the bait and switch this organization is representing/offering the customers. I ordered on Feb 27th said would ship 3/1 3/1 came so checked the site said if order today will ship 3/6 then called the following day said would ship 3/13 on the site still no information from JEGS. Called again on 3/10 informed me they would not ship estimated 3/27 however just for fun checked the site and says available ships today on the website while on the phone with representatives she informed me would call manufacturer and return my call and email nothing so called back today 3/13 since product still shows availability and ships today still inform me will not ship until estimated 3/27 JEGS you will continue to drive your own set goals down the drain with this bait and switch tactic this is people's fun and you taking from that the people will take from you and that is retention growth and word of mouth. Best of luck after this purchase there will no longer be a JEGS sticker nor purchased product from this organization shipping to my residence. Ps I'm just the little guy so this means nothing to the big box stores. Just know the little guys pay for the roof of a lot of your employees
I did a mistake when I order at jegs, I discover after I pay that I had selected the part it was for wrong car.
I write to them as soon as I discover, and I call them in the morning to try to stop the order, no answer for the phone I call 10 times, and no answer for the mail I sent 4 mail, So I am stuck with a part I don't need

Jeg's would not sell a set of SOS DUI-******* coils stating not approved by the EPA in NY State. Not true as noted by the manufacture therefore had to ordered from another supplier at a much higher price with not issue in selling in NY State.
It appears the real reason Jeg's would not sell the coils is their price was not current.
I've ordered twice from Jegs. (Shouldn't it be "Jeg's"?)
Order #1 - They charged me the wrong sales tax - more than double what it should be. It is super easy to verify someone's correct tax; all you need is their address. This is the only business I know of that can't get it right. After two phone calls trying to take care of it, in which both individuals told me they couldn't fix it but knew who could, nothing has happened, and it's been more than a week.
Order #2 - I ordered a Jegs-brand automatic transmission on November 29th. The order confirmation said the estimated ship date was January 1st. With two days to go (December 29th), they send me a new estimated ship date - April 5th! The 3 people I spoke to about it weren't rude, but neither were they helpful; nobody could explain how in the space of one month the delivery date slipped four months, or why they didn't tell me sooner. Nor did they do anything at all to make it right; "sorry" is all I got. Sorry, indeed.
I've done business with their competitor, Summit Racing, for over 30 years, and Summit on their worst day is better than Jegs, based on my two experiences. There won't be a third.

Customer service and for sure the commercial auto repair industry this company has no coloration. In the instance of sending a defective component out to my facility and speaking to a person that had to had two years expeirence in something other than automotive tried to say no auto parts stores pay labor claims. THAT WOULD BE A LIE> all real auto parts stores do. AZ NPA CQ and reputable company that is. So keep your crap parts and loose more business. NOT RECOMENDED FOR ANY PROFESSIONAL. DIY ENJOY SUB STANDARD PRODUCTS.

Called like one or two weeks after not getting the package said it was delivered never even got it they tried to find out what happened fed ex called me apologizing and telling me to call back the company to get my refund or get a replacement got sick for a bit tried calling them back when i got better said they could do nothing about it would not ever order from this site again worst experience ever DONT ORDER FROM JEGS only site that i did not get my order from every other site ive ordered ive got my stuff except from this one and before i even told jegs about it i also sent fed ex a message saying that i never recived my package
I called to get help installing a part that had no instructions on install and they had no diagram either at Jegs but he would have the team that did call and or email me the next day. The part I ordered also came with hardware that didn't fit the item it was included with and I had to grab hardware leftover from other builds to make it work. Weeks have gone by and no call or email. The only email I have gotten is the Jegs email x 2 now wanting a review but it isn't a review if you only want the review as good, that is called promotion. If Jegs wants us to contact them to avoid the bad review then it isn't a review. I wasn't going to rate them as I typically don't like negativity and just let it ride until I got another email asking for a review. I now lately think it is negative to hide bad experiences from others that are looking to get an item which may experience the same thing. Also if you couldn't call me or email me back when you said you would, why would I write you or call again for a problem I had to figure out by trial and error and don't need help anymore? That would waste more time than this review already has. That was my experience and I bought 5 items in 2 days.
I ordered a simple face shield that I needed for an upcoming driving event. Website showed product in stock and available to ship within 24 hours. As soon as I placed order, it showed as backordered. No way to cancel the order through the web site. Tried calling and could not get through. Two days later I got an email informing that product would ship in 3 weeks. Too late for my needs. I requested to cancel order via return email to customer service and tried to follow up with a phone call. No response to email and gave up after 40 minute hold on phone. Four weeks later I receive email statng that item is ready to ship. I reply by cancelling order via email, again and asking for a response within 24 hours. No response. I now have the item and the online return would force me to pay the shipping both ways which costs more than the value of the refund. I opened a dispute with PayPal who dismissed my claim with no explanation. Still no reponse from JEGS. Fortunately, this was not a high value purchase. I had purchased from them in the past with no issues. Something has gone terribly wrong with them. I would steer clear.
First and foremost, I am not "returning" or "exchanging" a product that I ordered, I'm sending back what they sent me because they sent the incorrect part. The return policy shouldn't apply here. Then, on top of that, I have to pay for their mistake by covering the shipping? Won't be doing business with them again.
I ordered two tires for my project, went to mount them and noticed they were two different size tires (labeled the same, but one tire was labeled incorrectly). Called and waited forever help, was told that it was outside fo the 60-day return window... but when I purchased their policy was still 6-months. IN OTHERWORDS THEY WERE GOING TO STICK ME WITH THE BILL FOR SENDING ME THE WRONG TIRE. Called again and got another person, and they honored the return policy. But then, even though they were the ones that sent me the wrong tire, THEY MADE ME PAY TO SHIP THE TIRE BACK.
I ordered the door lock buttons for my 4 door F150. I paid for 4 lock buttons in total but only got 2 about a week later. I called and explained that I ordered and paid for 4 of them and only got 2. I waited patiently for another 2 weeks and still did not get the door buttons for the other two doors in my truck. I called again and explained what happened and was told they would ship them out. Now 3 weeks after that second phone call I still have not gotten my door lock buttons. I am done being patient and decided to leave this review of my honest experience with Jegs. Never again will I order from them. The problem is now I can not find any vendor that has the same version of my door lock buttons. I will have to order all 4 door lock buttons again to get some that match.
Update: I did finally get the other half of my order and an apology with an explanation. After getting the apology and my door locks I decided to change my 1 star rating to a 3 star rating because sometimes things can happen in business. I do feel that they care and they did follow through and made sure I got what I paid for.
Ordered by customer service rep a standard clutch for our 60s 327 chevy. Shipping delivery changed 2 times, but that's life. Upon arrival turns out the part number was for the 11 inch not the standard 10.5, multiple phone calls to correct, Mcleod factory confirms the 11 inch is NOT standard, but the 10.5 is, so ordered the corrected one, upon attempting to get the RMA for wrong return, they would not pay shipping return, and would not provide a RMA, so left with the clutch, absolutely ridiculous, but no problem for me, as of the 17 cars i own this was my last order, JEGS provided no options to correct the problem, no possible solution, nothing, just "we're sorry"... summit, and lopers we will be buying from you in the future of our fleet of performance cars.
PS, this was the second such issue the first was on a set of spark plug wires, where again the wrong ones were sent, and return processing poor at best. I get I am only one of many ordering, but this "one" person is now going elsewhere for parts.

This place is so ridiculous I can't imagine why people shop here. I tried buying heads for my Ford 351w engine. I had to call because the info on the site is so messed up. A "technician" tried to help. I told them my application and they tried to get me to buy a head for a 300 straight six engine. Really? Well this is what the site also tried to do which is why I called. I explained that I have a v8 and that's a straight 6. Then the tech go testy with me and said the computer says it fits. I said no it doesn't. He said well fitting the right heads is too technical for most people to get which is why he has a job. Oh, cool, I guess I should bow to your infinite wisdom. Maybe some extra gasket sealer I can put a head on one side of my engine. Shaking my head and to make sure I wasn't crazy I said cool, can you tell me what gasket to use. He did much better this time and recommended one for a 460. Well it won't fit but at least it has 8 cylinder holes. Of course the head only has 6. I gave up. Don't try to buy stuff from people that only list parts with no knowledge at all. If you can't tell the difference between a v8 and a straight 6 you shouldn't sell parts. Also none of their products list enough info to make a decision yourself.
I cannot stress this enough about how horrible this company has done business. I live in Uvalde Texas and I ordered a rear differential for my Ram pickup truck. I paid roughly $1,800, a week later still no differential or refund. Tracking my package has been the most difficult obstacle in this process. Mind you, I'm a Transmission Powerline Lineman and I've done and been through a lot. With that being said, I've been on the phone with them multiple times in the past 4 days. My order was scheduled to be delivered yesterday Friday May 28 and it's already Saturday and still nothing. I've contacted them again after not being able to track anything with the faulty tracking number and they said my package was in San Antonio Texas, About 86 miles from me and that it's been out for delivery twice in 24 hours. That's all I've gotten since. No package and a dumbfound explanation about my package. I don't like how they are coming at me with a (it's more of your problem not ours) attitude. As a future potentially big customer I refuse to ever shop or recommend Jegs again. DO NOT BUY FROM JEGS. You will be very disappointed and may lose your investments.

As stated in the title, long story short, I received a defected brake caliper, contacted them, got a return label right away.

Jegs are easily the WORST company I have ever dealt with in the States. I spent $600 and told my order would ship in 2 to 3 days, after 4 months Paypal recovered my money.
I ordered a set of suare port small block chevy headers. They sent me oval ports. Called them and after 45 min finally got thru to customer service. They made me pay for the return shipping to exchange for another set. When the replacement headers come in they were also oval port. Spent another 30 min. Waiting to get thru to them and told them that they sent me oval ports again and the do not match the description on their website,I sent them pictures of the headers and they confirmed that they didn't match the description so I shipped them back and a week later they issued me a partial refund shorted me $36.00 I called them back and again took 35 min to get thru and they told me I was responsible for the tax and a processing fee. Not to mention this cost me 3 weeks of time. I ordered a set from Summit racing and they were much better quality and had no fitment issues. I highly recommend do not do business with Jegs they will more than likely screw you over. I rate them at a zero but to process this review you have to select at least one star. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

I purchased a fender for my 72' C10. Paid $280 which included $109 shipping. Received an email stating I will receive tracking information within 24 hours. Nope! Not 24 hours, not 120 hours. I called FedEx as they were the shipping company, they referred me to R&L who referred me to Sonic Transport. 3 shipping companies later, Sonic told me I needed to be home to receive the delivery. I told them I could leave work or take a day off and if I needed to change the delivery address I would have to go through Jegs and have Jegs email me the approved address change and Sonic would delivery to the new address. When I contacted Jegs and listened to the add on the phone "get ready for exceptional customer service " I thought this will be easy, nope! Jegs said I could not nor could they change the delivery address per their policy. WTF. If your ad, catalog or website would have said I needed to be home to receive the package I would have shipped it to my work. In the end Sonic Transfer said I would have to come to their dock and pick it up. I have 8 pre 72' cars and truck and I will never buy from Jegs or support anything with their name on it. I also a weekend drag racing hobbyist that will spread the word.

Called and placed an order with a sales person for a will call pick up at thier warehouse for a distributor and a voltage regulator. Summit racing had the same regulator for $33.99, jegs price was $77.99 so i ask about price matching it and sales rep said yes they do and would price match it. He gave me a total on my order with price matching i paid for it over the phone he gave me a con. # then drove over an hr one way to pick my order up at the their warehouse. I get there and guy inside at will call couldnt find my order for about 30 min. Then when he did find it he said there was an issue with price matching the regulator and that they couldnt do it but could sell it to me for $60.00 if i still wanted it, which i needed it so i went ahead and paid the extra for it at that point ive been there for over an hour. Then i get home and then the distributor was missing parts and looks like someone has already had it and returned it and it doesnt even look like the one online that i paid for and it wont fit. So i call customer service and theyre not in on the weekend so have to wait till monday morning to contact them and they tell me they cant do anything about the price mating because that was to low of a price to sell it for and that summit racing must have a misprint online on their price. Then on the distributor theyre gonna send me another one and charge me for it and i have to send defective one back and wait on the refund on that one. Very $#*!ty way of doing business and customer service. Shouldve just went to summit racing.
