They charge large shipping fees (non refundable) and will eventually (multiple weeks late) deliver without the ability to cancel. You won't get a refund and any type of escalation they will refuse to talk to you.
Ordered products from jegs. Products backordered no ETA canceled order. At they said they did no refund until they say when. No money no parts thanks Jegs.
Sent me something I could have gotten at ace hardware. Package is not from vendor, got had... Do not trust this website or people.
Once ordered they forget you and if you call them it's useless since employees are trained to spend lots of time on phone doing nothing.
Spend thousands with them every year - have a product fail 2nd time it's used and was told to pound sand. Will never buy from them again
Tip for consumers:
Don’t ever buy from them

I only bought from jegs once but never again. They sent me defective parts and would not pay for shipping to send new parts
Paid for overnight shipping week later no parts no calls back. I'll stick with summit place has gone to $#*!
I bought Speedmaster pce305 1017 pistons, first they sold me the wrong rings. Then they sold me rings that I just found out they were also wrong after I thought I had made a mistake gapping rings. They never mentioned about a oil support ring, so I thought I screwed them up. They sold me another set of rings and they didn't fit. After a year of trying to get rings for the piston, and after 3 sets of wrong rings, I found out they can't get rings for the pistons and told me they are not being made any more. While waiting for rings, I called Jegs and asked about other parts I ordered and was waiting for. They said they made a mistake, that they put on a Fed ex truck to Florida instead of Winnipeg, Canada. From sending me 3 sets of wrong rings, which I still don't have rings that will fit and shipping to wrong Country and having me have to find rings and not taking back pistons. They sold me pistons that they won't give me back because they say it's over the time to get my money back. The time has been their fault and their stupidity. I get probably 2 emails a day for parts and advertisements and I will never buy from them again because of stupidity, bad tech suggestions and money they think I have to throw away. I suggest that other buyers for parts don't make the same mistake as me to buy anything from F#?*<^>@ JEGS
Item listed for sale on site, took them 4 days to let me know it was discontinued. Why do they have it listed then?

I bought a tci th350 4x4 maximizer transmission in march of this
Year and i recently got the transmission installed in the truck last month and I've reached out multiple times because the detent for the rooster comb is broke and was broke befor I installed it I spent alot of money to get what I thought was a good heavy duty transmission I had high hopes for this i was told these things can happen in transit so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and drained the fluid dropped the pan and saw that the detent for the rooster comb is broke the roller didnt just fall off its completely broke the detent that selects the gears is broke and thats why the roller wont stay on ive searched for that detent and i cant find one nor should i have to be looking for parts for a brand new transmission worst place to order from and of course when I call to start a return they say my warranty was only 30 days and it's up DO NOT ORDER FROM JEGS THEY NEED TO JUST CLOSE THERE DOORS
Had to cancel an order for 5 wheels since they would not be able to ship for a month... why bother? Not impressed with this one.
Simple question. Extremely rude customer service. Imagine what happens if there's a problem. Take your money where it's appreciated.
On December 4 2020 I purchased products from their website, prior to the order their site showed that they had four of the items I was interested in purchasing in stock. I need only two so I proceeded with the order. After committing to the order I checked the website and it now showed two in stock so it looked like the two I ordered were committed to me. Soon after the order I received an invoice saying paid in full and the status as shipped, all was good so I thought. About 3 weeks after the order was placed I received an email that it would be mid February before the items could be shipped as they were on back order? How could that be if they were shipped already as per the invoice? So I started sending emails to the customer service department inquiring what was going on and getting no response I started with the phone calls. Many many calls later and literally hours on hold I finally talked to a human and they gave me an update. The update was they had no Idea when I would see my products, gee thanks for great information guys! Since that call I have again sent many unanswered emails and again have spent hours again on hold waiting for someone to answer but have yet to make contact. It is now been four and a half months they have had $1200 of my money and I have nothing in return and cant even make contact with some one to get my money back. This is a case of FALSE advertising and borderline THEFT, they advertised they had products when they didn't and took money for them and are not responding when asked for information. I will never purchase anything from these crooks again and would advise others to do the same. I have to say this is the worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever had in purchasing anything in my life! STAY AWAY!
My dealings with this company has to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had ordering parts. In March I ordered Powerstop brakes for my vehicle which were on back-order and wouldn't be delivered until May 15,2023. In March, I reviewed notification the delivery on the system, mentioned above, would be further delayed until the end of May. I immediately checked their website for a comparable brake system which could ve delivered in a much more timely manner. I found a brake set from R1 Concepts that was promised to be shipped on March 26th, according to the checkout on their website. Around May 1st, I was notified via email that the new brakr order would now be delayed until the end of July. I called customer service who explained that the manufacturers are having a difficult time keeping up with demand and that there was nothing they could do to.expediate the process, offer an alternative or an upgraded brake kit for my European sports sedan. They sent me an email but without the barcode. It had to be printed put and since I was on the road, I had no choice but to drive 30 mi uses out of my way to find a FedEx store that could print out my forwarded email.
Shortly thereafter, I went to well known caparts chain store to see if they had a quality brake system I could purchase and take possession of immediately or within the next few days. I couldn't believe it when they said they could take delivery of the initial Powerstop Brake system, I initially ordered.from Jegs, in 3 days.
I will.never deal with Jegs again.

Last time I order here. I was on a time crunch and my purchase didn't arrive by due date. Summit is where I stay from now on...
THIS PLACE IS THE WORST FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY NEVER HAVE ITEMS IN STOCK AND THEY WONT TELL YOU TILL YOU HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED IT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Jegs is a vendor for high performance motors and automotive parts. It used to be considered one of the best and most reputable sources for auto parts.
I ordered a motor from jegs.com on Jan. 31st 2023. Prior to and during my ordering of it, they said it would be shipping out on February 2nd. While I was placing the order, they told me they would be happy to ship it to my friend's house, who is the mechanic installing the motor. The day after I placed the order, they sent me an email to inform me that the expected shipping date is now March 31st, and they called me to say that they have to ship it to a commercial business, a complete contraction of both the ship date and shipping-to location. I then bent over backwards to talk a local commercial business into accepting the motor into their freight deliveries for me.
On March 31st, I waited till about 4pm to hear from them, and when I heard nothing from them, I called their customer service number and chose the order status option. The gentleman I talked to said, and I quote, "There's about a 50/50 chance it could be shipped out by April 17th". He then went on to say that it would be shipping to my friend's house, he apparently had no idea I already changed plans with them to ship it to a business.
In addition to their deliberate dishonesty, it's egregious that I paid extra for a 1-year warranty, under the impression I would become in possession of it within weeks, but the warranty starts the day you order it, not the date you receive it, so the 1-year warranty I paid for is going to be a 9.5-month warranty at best, assuming I ever even receive a motor from them.
Tip for consumers:
When buying a new motor for a vehicle, buy direct from manufacturer instead of a predatory vendor like Jegs.
