This is the second review I've written on Life's Abundance dog food, my girl is now 1 year old and she is and continues to thrive! I've used this dog food 99% of the time and there was a BIG DIFFERENCE when she had another brand (her and her business smelled way worse). I couldn't be happier with the quality and dependability of this product, even the packaging is awesome (pretty sure I said that before as well). From the time of order it takes about 3-4 days to be at my front door and I can honestly say I never regret spending the $$ on this food, it makes my life just that much easier. Stars 100% of the time!
When returning a defective item, they expect you to jump through hoops. After purchasing an item that sporadically turned off, I was expected to sit and wait while recording the item to prove the item was defective. So, sit for potentially hours for nothing to happen, or for something to happen? Your business isn't appreciated here. Thankfully banks offer chargebacks. Good riddance to this scam of a store.
There was a mistake and I had to pay postage that was almost as much as I paid for the item. I blocked all their emails. Never again
Tip for consumers:
don't do it
I bought a $40 pack of brushes based on all of the great reviews. I wanted to upgrade from a set I have already had for a few years. When they arrived, I was so disappointed. They were just cheap, poorly balanced & the ones I already had were WAY nicer. So obviously I didn't want them.
Well- on my $180 purchase these were the only things I was not happy with, so I requested a return based on how dissatisfied I was with the product. They even had little paint splatters on the handles from a sloppy manufacturing process! I'll simplify the drama of the back & forth for you, but after they said they would return them as defective product, they sent me a prepaid shipping label & I sent the brushes back. I didn't hear anything more from Jerry's, but then I saw a credit back to my card not for the $40 I paid- but for $25.
Jerry's apparently received the product back and didn't think the fact that this product is junk was sufficient justification for a return, so even though they had said they'd cover return shipping & sent me a label, they apparently changed their mind, shorted me $15, and didn't even tell me! Completely shady & unacceptable business practices! (The CS employee who handled my transaction & stole $15 from me without even taking the time to tell me was EMILY).
That $180 was the last money Jerry's will ever get from me. Check the BBB & other sources- their scores are terrible for a reason. Thankfully, there are plenty of alternative sources for art supplies who are smart enough to realize return shipping is a small price to pay for maintaining a customer relationship & their ongoing business. Also- how is a small bubble mailer sent ground $15 to ship? They just shorted my return arbitrarily. I ship from my business account nearly every day & that's not an appropriate rate for a small pack of artist brushes.
If you make the mistake of doing business with Jerry's, don't be surprised to find they basically don't allow returns even though their product is trash.
Wow, what can I say? How about DO NOT ORDER FROM JERRY'S UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Where to begin? Well, lets start with the fact that their website is slower than a turtle wading through molasses in January. As soon as I added items to my cart, the website took forever to load the shopping cart page. Check out took about 20 minutes (18 of which were spent waiting for pages to load). Their shipping is also incredibly slow. I only live a couple states away from their warehouse and it took a full 9 days to receive my order. They offer free shipping on certain order amounts and use the slowest, cheapest possible service to keep their profits as high as possible. Simply processing the order took 4 of those 9 days. I should note that I am only counting business days, not weekends. I've ordered things from California (complete opposite side of the country for me) and received them in 4 business days. Customer service? Yeah right. I tried reaching out to them about their website speed and never got a response. Not even a generic "We apologize for the inconvenience." I got my order and nothing was broken, thankfully. But the final nail in the coffin for me is the fact that JERRY'S GIVES OUT YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS to their partners. So now I am receiving junk mail from various artist related magazines trying to get me to subscribe. I know they got my information from Jerry's because part of the deal the magazines offer is a 10-15% off coupon for Jerry's. I've never encountered this with any other art supply retailer. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY. Unless you like waiting for almost a week and a half to receive your supplies you paid good money for and want useless junk mail for overpriced magazines. Go order from Jerry's major competitor (you know who I'm talking about) like I usually do and save yourself the headache.
