If you are a budding Japanese to English translator, just starting out in your learning experience or are just looking to look up some words that have caught your interest, Jisho.org is an excellent option for your needs. They have a very simple to use interface, where you can either type in English words, Japanese romaji (Romanized words) or Japanese text (like hiragana or kanji). After you type something in, you will get your results with their meanings, how they can be used in a sentence, their readings and some other information, like stroke order. I have been using their website, on and off, for probably five or six years now. It has helped me look up unfamiliar words or get ideas on how to translate things in a different way. Overall, I am very happy with their online dictionary. I recommend it to anyone who would benefit from using an online Japanese to English dictonary.
