“They texted me with a message to my phone and knew...”

They texted me with a message to my phone and knew my name when I called. My Iphone did not give me a location that corresponded with the area code of the phone number they provided. After bombarding me with personal questions they offered me schooling via their education department. Where is the JOB.

“What a scam”

What a scam. Just realized that they have been billing the credit card for months and havent gotten any emails from them. You can't even get a hold of them to access our account. The password retrieval function doesn't work and was probably never meant to. Jobnab is happy billing me for no service rendered. Learned a lesson about giving away any of my information to these creeps. One is better off writing a check every month. It is easier in the long run.

To be honest I just got off the initial phone call for the position of Job Scout. I was not impressed. It seems as if they are definitely running a scam. Some recorded guy named Rob told us all about the company, I did not hear anyone else on the phone call. Rob did not allow us to ask any questions about the company. As if the vague information that is recorded throughout their website is enough information for a person to just want to jump in and work for their company with no benefits in sight. It was actually quite disconcerting. I do not have a good feeling about this website or the services that they provide. I would advise you to run! If it sounds too good to be true it is too good to be true! Trust me when I say it is not worth it. I know that times are hard but don't be taken advantage of, just because you want some income. Don't let the pictures fool you... Just keep searching and you will be sure to find a LEGITIMATE job that will earn you LEGITIMATE money! Don't let them get you!

I scheduled a phone interview half an hour ago. After waiting ten minutes past the scheduled appointment time, I called the phone number for Robert Schaffer (given as the only phone number on the Contact Us page of the site). His mailbox was full, so I was unable to leave a message. I have read additional comments where those who were able to have a phone interview and go on to work for jobnab were not being paid reliably for their work. The bottom line, in my opinion, is this: This is a company which probably has a legitimate business and for some, may be a solid opportunity to earn some extra money working from home. However, the way communications have been handled imply that either jobnab doesn't have the resources to handle itself professionally (I have never heard of a facebook page being set up for any purpose besides networking), or staff sufficient to take on the high volume of responses they are receiving. I'm not willing to write this company off so quickly, but the fact that my interview couldn't take place because the company/Robert Schaffer can't be reached via phone makes me believe they may be in over their head.

Jobnab is sooooooo fake! I never bothered with the interview because I knew when i got the (OBVIOUSLY) Indian response it was yet another fake site! If they want to interview, they will take the time to call you, in craigslist I noticed that all the legit jobs actually give a name of a company and a "local" contact number, never give your information, I have a special "Fake" email I use too when I am suspicious and sure enough, that email box is always FULL of garbage!

I was taking up for this site a lot at first, but now I'm not sure. I started my orientation and training as a job scout for the company last week. I haven't been able to start my new updated training this week that they have because they are redoing the site.

I still have a job finder profile on the site so i've also been logging in to that section. I logged in today and saw a job post that I was interested in. As I scrolled down I saw that I had to PURCHASE THE JOB FOR 89 CENTS?! I don't understand why I would have to PAY to APPLY FOR A JOB? That is what really threw me off about JobNab.com.

Could someone please explain to me why I would have to PAY to apply for a job listed on this site or any other site? And if I'm paying is it guaranteed that I will get the position?

I signed up for this service, and constantly receive e-mails stating they have found matches for me. But when I try to view the jobs, it tells me that my password is invalid. My password is my last name, which they assigned for me. THIS SITE BASICALLY SCREAMS SCAM to me.

I unfortunately fell for this scam and sent them a w-9 for employment. I learned yesterday that someone used my social and name to file a tax return. Do not fall for this company!

The job is garbage They tie you up on two training calls you have to pay for before the next call telling you you may use Skype They make it sound in their instructions that you go on line find jobs, post them then their verifiers make sure the site is legit, and they try to get an opt in to an education advertiser, if all goes well and it is a Valid lead you make 10.00 HA let them explaing a valid lead to you and half the jobs on there are also on Monster, Snag a Job, Indeed it is a big farce I did better selling Kirbys door to door big problem is you never really know your figures only what they claim has happened I posted 300 jobs on jobnab and then markeplace on Face Book According to Jobnabs stats I had No Valid leads but did have two opt ins and three look at the Job on Jobnab where as on just one job alone had 159 views to a job a total of 685 views in all yet according to Job Nab not a single valid lead Bogus

Ok I'm like everyone else out there checking out any avenue possible to earn some type of income since I'm not employeed at this time. I somehow came upon this "opportunity" to work from home. Well I figured it wouldn't cost me anything to check it out. Sounded legit. I have sat through two conference calls. (did wait 10-15 minutes before they started) The 2nd call was to have an open forum Q&A with a mgr after. That didn't happen. I haven't submitted my W-9 as I had some reservations because of the SS # being sent to (not exactly sure where) I can't quite seem to understand who would pay for a job listing when they can find it themselves. Also, on the call it was stated that the "company" does push Education. Well if you don't have a job, probably don't have any extra money so who's going to pay for Further Education. After further thought and receiving text msg's from Kevin, Beth, Pam, etc all from either Career Network or JobNab, I have come to the same conclusion as others. When you go to the link to complete your application, you get the Education question along with another phising site. I. e. Taking a survey to match you with your best career path. This isin't worth your time or effort, If you are going to do all of this research for positions, apply for them yourself and keep your identity safe

Hi all,

Just thought I should share this, since I live in Orlando. I don't know if any of you have Googled the address that shows up on your text messages from "Ann(e)", but I did, and I found this to be very interesting. The address belongs to Florida Website Design, 7635 Ashley Park Court, Suite 503, Orlando, FL *******.
*******107

The initial search resulted in this:

Hours: 8-7pm M-F EST

Credit Card, Money Order, Cashiers Check, Cash, Personal Check, Paypal

Florida Website Design is a full-service, Orlando-area Web Design and Internet Marketing company with more than 8 years of experience transforming business strategy into tailored internet solutions that meet your company's marketing needs now and in the future.

Then I searched further, and found Florida Website Design's website address: http://www.flsites.com.

So this explains why job seekers are being told not to contact JobNab directly. They give a tollfree number because they know that the phone calls will be going to this company and their scam will be discovered! I will physically visit the building next and see what's actually there, and report back. This is not the way to do business, by taking advantage of those of us who are out of work and seriously seeking jobs!

An email was sent from a Maria Schubert claiming they saw my resume and had the perfect position for me. It requested I go to their website and register. Mm k. If you saw my resume and I am a match for a job, then why aren't you discussing the position instead of trying to get me to punch my personal information into your registration form? Just look at the terms and conditions for the answer:

"By providing a valid email address to the Company, the User explicitly grants permission for the Company, its affiliates, advertisers, service providers, and other third parties, to send the User emails regarding various information pursuant to the Privacy Policy. If the User no longer desires to receive emails from the Company, the User may follow the opt-out procedures set forth in the email from the Company."

"4. Email Policy. If you receive an email from the Company, its affiliates, advertisers, service providers, or other third parties, your email address was obtained as a result of either your express and voluntarily request to receive information from the Company, its affiliates, advertisers service providers, or other third parties or your existing relationship with the Company, its affiliates, advertisers, service providers, or other third parties. Each email sent contains an automated method to "opt out" of receiving additional emails from the Company or its affiliates. If you no longer wish to receive emails from the Company or its affiliates, please follow the instructions at the end of any email. If you remove your information from the Company's database, it will no longer be used by us for secondary purposes, disclosed to third parties, or used by us or third parties to send promotional correspondence to you."

Funny how simply filling out a "registration" form suddenly turns into you are consenting to having your personal information spread to everyone out there. You call this a job matching service?

I thought it was incredibly suspicious when I asked if I could record the initial "registration" phone call and was immediately told NO and that if I was going to refuse not to record the call with Jobnab that the agent would hang up. I then spoke with a jobnab "specialist" by the name of Robert who obviously did not hear me say I was recording the call because he kept right on with his script. When I told Robert that I had a Bachelor's degree his reply was "you are of course going to continue your education aren't you?" When I said No he seemed very disappointed. I asked very detailed questions about how exactly do they match jobs when they have nothing but my name, email and phone number and was told over and over again that all I had to do was change the job category on the web page. When I commented that that was no different from Monster, CareerBuilder etc he became agitated and continued his diatribe that I could change my 'interest' on the web page. I then asked to speak to his supervisor and big surprise there was no supervisor "available" but I could contact the corporate office by clicking the Contact Us link. I asked Robert for the phone number to 'his office (by which one would assume is the corporate office) to which he again replied that I could use the Contact Us link. I laughed and said "You don't even know the phone number to your own corporate office? This sounds like an outright scam to me exactly how does Jobnab make their money" At this point Robert stated that he was going to have to disconnect the call. I immediately called back, got another rep named Alan who began with the same script when I told him to STOP I was calling to have my information removed from their database and that I had better not get a single call from anyone associated with Jobnab including colleges, college matching services etc.
