DeleteMe has a rating of 4.6 stars from 472 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with DeleteMe most frequently mention personal information, customer service, and great job. DeleteMe ranks 1st among Privacy sites.
Very pleased to have DeleteMe as a defender against these disgraceful, exploitative websites that should all be illegal to operate. Wish they had broader capabilities but still very happy with their excellent service. Thank You much always.
-Ineffective to my needs -Has many bot responses on different platforms recommending product (look on Facebook. Literal bot reviews) -BBB responses are consistently non-sense responses. Saying you're working to remove things isn't the same as having the capacity to remove them.
Some data broker information was missed online so I made custom requests with DeleteMe. One data broker refused to remove my information unless I asked personally so DeleteMe walked me through through the process. DeleteMe took care of my other requests within 48 hours. I'm very satisfied how stress free DeleteMe has made the process. I work with dangerous clients so it is important that they cannot find my home and family.
Delete me does an excellent job of deleting personal information off the web. It doesn't just delete the easy Opt out stuff, but also the hard to delete information from data mining companies. I recommend it to anyone wanting to keep their personal information safe and secure.
In order to rate your service the customer needs to know exactly what you did to deserve the rating. All you say is that you found 34 cases where delete requests were made. Quite difficult to give an awesome rating for that.
We had an issue with a web site that had our information that was outside their regular list of sites. They managed to get our information off anyway and have done a great job getting our information off the internet.
Highly recommended!
These companies you deal with are like rabbits, and they just keep multiplying. Before I found Delete Me, I had tried getting my info off from these sites to no avail. Delete Me - Keep up the Great Job!
I have only been using this service for a short time after identifying several sites having posted a lot of my PII. Since starting my account, the team at DeleteMe have removed my info from previously identified sites and new ones while keeping me informed on what they've found. I definitely recommend this company.
I am gonna be perfectly honest here. I have enemies. Some people dont like me. So not having all my personal info out there is fantastic peace of mind. I SLEEP BETTER NOW! If you are in a similar situation or just don't want any person to be able to look you up. BUY THIS! WORTH IT!
They keep me well informed of where they removed my info, where they sent inquiries to remove my info, and how long each place should take (each site is different!) I am SO happy! I feel like I have my privacy back! Thank you!
DeleteMe is an excellent service. They do what they say they will do in a timely fashion and they keep the subscriber informed through the process —that can often takes weeks. I hope they grow and expand their services to do total internet removal for maintaining privacy.
I am pleased with the deleteMe services they have provided, to help me protect my personal information. I have informed friends on how your information gets sold to a variety of sources. I have tried looking up my name and I noticed that it was not that easy to find me like before so I highly recommend that if you care about your identity you should use deleteme to remove your information.
All I can say is I'm a fan of Delete me! I signed up several months ago and found my online records soon disappeared from the web just as I hoped. The only site that persisted to list my personal information was My Life. I emailed Delete Me and they went the extra step to remove the My Life information as well. Bottom line_ they do a great job! Kevin
I have no idea what's going on with Blur/IronVest... I keep on getting pop ups from IronVest and it's distracting. All I want to do is to login to my websites without the damn thing popping up all the time. You Should have stayed with Blur... It was much easier to handle,
I'm not seeing any changes on return from my $100 investment on this account. I still daily receive spam phone calls at 8-10am that wake me up sometimes and hang up when I talk to them. Scams, frauds and crooks are still not even at bay. I hear from delete me on this my second month and all I see are it saying my information has been sent for removal from 48 companies that I have never heard from. I'm going to contact the better business bureau and the theee large credit companies
Hi There,
When it comes to removing personal information from people search and data broker sites we are best-in-class. Unfortunately, we cannot delete data from telemarketers.
However, this article from the Federal Trade Commission may be helpful in removing your existing data from telemarketing lists:

Thank you so much for what you guys do!
I was quite alarmed when I saw that my personal information was on the internet and also how detailed it was. Thanks to Deleteme my information is being taken off these dangerous sites. I highly recommend this service to everyone. Thank You!
I love this site, especially, Dave who is my point of contact person. Every time that I need help, he takes care of me immediately! I can rest assured that my needs are being taken care of. I highly recommend deleteme.com to keep your information and data safe and thank you to Dave who is always on top of it for me.
I have had delete me for almost a year. I got this service to get my info off the internet. There were a couple things still out there. I emailed delete me and they responded directly to me. Dave got my info off 48 hours later. Best service for better privacy!
My name was scattered throughout the internet. Deletme went about doing something that I would not have know where to start. My name is no longer on the sites I have checked. They also kept me updated on the progress. I truly appreciate their services.
I joined DeleteMe over a month ago after a frightening discovery of how much of my personal information was available online. DeleteMe has sent opt-out notices to countless websites that contain my info, saving me time and worry, and keeping me informed of their progress. I am optimistic that my personal information will be secure in a short time.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase! It was a bit pricey, but I saved some money by buying a two year subscription and by using a discount code. The prorated refund policy gave me peace-of-mind with my purchase, but after experiencing the service, I will be remaining a member! One of my favorite parts about DeleteMe is that if it does not remove from a specific site that you find your information on, you can email customer support and they will research the site for you and either remove the information or instruct you on how to remove it yourself. It is basically a concierge service. Well worth the money!
I chose DeleteMe after researching this type of service and after reading the review in PC Mag.
I have been paying DeleteMe for 4 straight years and so far, I am seeing my name in so many sites like truth finder, ancestry.com. Etc. When you ask DeleteMe, they will just reason out that they have no control over those sites and that I have to be the one to request for the removal of my info. I don't know what I am paying them for.
First, let me say that you're not alone in your frustration. People are finding their info spread across the internet more and more these days, which is why they're turning to our service to help them remove it. However, we try to be very clear up front that our service focuses on data brokers and people search sites, but we are bound by laws in place, and is not a 1-stop-solution to all online privacy issues
For example on our "how we work" page we provide a specific list of sites we remove from. We are constantly working to add more, but it's not easy -- many of these sites are adversarial, they change their policies frequently, and do everything they can to avoid removals under the letter of the law. The landscape changes on a daily basis.
Certain data brokers are refusing to respond to all third-party agent removal submissions as we have communicated. We will continue to advocate on your behalf to combat this non-compliance to honor our opt-outs and remove your information from these data brokers. If we are not able to remove on your behalf, and we will do our best to try, we want to ensure that you have the collateral and walkthroughs needed to remove yourself in places in which we can't.
We understand taking action is essential to reducing your personal information on the internet. While DeleteMe is hard at work in regaining compliance using the means at our disposal, we have provided steps that you can take to effect removal of your information on these sites.
Initially I was doing this work myself, following Bazzell's book and guidelines. It takes a TON of time and since each site is different it's annoyingly difficult at times. I found Blur first, but once I saw that DeleteMe was another service it made immediate sense. My time is worth more and they probably do a more comprehensive job anyhow!
I purchased the service a couple of months back, they said it will take time, and I'm fine with that. If I needed to expedite it because I was in danger or something, I would have gone to the feds. They've sent me a couple of updates about sending requests, but as far as I know, there have been three takedowns so far. I see on my report page that many opt-out requests have been sent, but it says 'Information Not Present' for the site I really wanted it removed from. I told them why it would look different there (which I why I want it gone due to the refusal to fix the innacuracy and refusal to delete my information and borderline extortion). I think it's a bit premature to give a final review. This will change in the coming weeks if allowed based on their performance and compliance with the request regarding the site I bought the service for in the first place.
Hi Andrew,
We do not see any explicit notes in your DeleteMe data sheet that would indicate any sort of special situation regarding any specific data broker. The status update email you are referring to is simply mentioning 3 data broker sites that are covered by DeleteMe where we're certain that they will immediately process your opt-out and remove your information upon receiving an opt-out from us.
You will continue to receive various updates regarding your DeleteMe subscription and opt-out successes throughout the entirety of your subscription.
DeleteMe works from a set list of data broker websites who publicly post PII profiles of individuals, and also have published opt-out procedures. DeleteMe cannot remove your information from any social media websites.
All that said, if you ever find information about yourself posted on a website that is or isn't covered by our DeleteMe service, contact our support team at support@joindeleteme.com and we will do whatever we can to help you get that information removed.
Best,
The DeleteMe Team
DeleteMe does a phenomenal job of removing your personal details from the internet. My home address and family members' addresses used to be able to be easily found by doing a Google search. Just a few months after hiring DeleteMe, all of those personal details were gone from Google.
This is a stupid $#*! service if your not going to constantly update me on what's being deleted or not. I shouldn't have to wait for MONTHS when your telling me that these places have different time lines. I should be updated for every update or every site you have removed my information from. Not wait months to get a report that should be constantly updating me.
