We have 4 English Bulldogs who are pullers when on a leash. We used a different harness that helped reign them in, but they had to step through the front loops, then connect the collar around their neck. No one cooperated. Then I saw a video for Joyride. Game. Changer. It was worth every penny to buy 4 at the same time. Now it takes less than 2 minutes to get all 4 harnessed up & ready to go. And they no longer pull at their harness, so the pups like them, too. Plus, the chest design means that even if they do pull, I'm not worried about undue pressure on their windpipe. I highly recommend Joyride - easy on, easy off, fantastic design.
After seeing all the positive (but filtered) reviews on their website, I bought a harness. After a few walks, I found that the chest strap loosens up so substantially the dog can slip out. The fabric used for the belt is too slippery and slides right through the buckle making the harness unreliable and even dangerous. I then found all sorts of negative reviews about the same problem on review sites—along with complaints the company dodges addressing those concerns. That has been exactly my experience. After several efforts, I got a company rep to offer a refund but here it is two weeks later and they won't respond to me and have not issued the refund. Wow. Terrible company and totally unethical behavior.
I recently purchased 2 harnesses for my new dogs already having one dog that has a Joyride harness that we liked. I love the product. The company was a nightmare to deal with. Horrible communication. No matter how many times I asked, nobody would call me. Sometimes it just takes a conversation to clear something up but they refused to communicate by phone. Text and email only. Also, I could have purchased this through Amazon and received it in two days. I went directly through the company and it took two weeks.
They emailed me a promotion and then told me I could not use it. I purchased two harnesses for the 15% bulk discount. Then they emailed me an offer for a 3rd harness at half price. I purchased it to take advantage of the low price. Then they emailed me that I could not use that discount. Now I had 3 harnesses with one of them 50% off and I only needed 2. They refunded my initial payment for 2 and charged for the 3. Then they refunded another partial payment and I ended up at the end with 2 harnesses the second one being 50% off. The whole transaction was ridiculously complicated and stressful. I will never do business with this company again.I
Tip for consumers:
Buy it off Amazon instead it’s much easier to work with them.

Scamming company that provides zero customer service. Shipping is faked( FedEx create label for weeks).
They take money and don't care.
They should be closed.
Update on the Joyride/Puglife Harness problems. Seems that their 'shipping partner' is "JET E-COMMERCE LOGISTIC INC' which is a Chinese forwarding company which works directly with the post office to deliver international packages from China to the USA.
Joyride may say they're in California, but that is just a front. Your harness is coming from China which is why it is going to take so long and you get the run around when you start asking where your package is. They prey on customers with their "giving back..." and "family business" front, meanwhile what you've really got is a Chinese company using a USA home address to do business. You can be that there isn't any family or facility in California, it's all bogus. Just Google "JET E-COMMERCE LOGISTIC INC" and you can get all the facts in just a click.

I find this company not interested in my dog being safe. I took my dog out for a walk at dusk, he is black. And he backed out of this harness in a BLINK OF AN EYE! In a NEW YORK MINUTE, he was out of this harness and gone! I was HORRIFIED! I could not believe it! SHOCKED! I had GREAT friends that stuck with us looking for my beloved pet, and apprx 3 hours later we found him in a CANAL full of water. I will NEVER put this harness back on my dogs. My posts get deleted all the time! This harness needs to be revamped so that a dog cannot slip out of it backward. I was left with the lead and harness in my hand and no dog! Unless they correct this flaw! I cannot recommend this harness!
I ordered a large Orange harness, a large orange leash, and poop bag holder.
The order was accepted for what I ordered and my credit card was charged.
I then got a email saying the color was out of stock. Not a big deal we went with Blue because its what we got last time. A large blue leash showed up, a medium leash showed up. The medium leash would do us no justice with our dog. Then the return/exchange process began. I started the process for the leashes exchange and before i hit finished nowhere was there an option for a larger leash. I then sent numerous emails for help. I made phone calls. They don't accept phone calls. I sent and email stating I was unhappy and asked somebody to call me. Got an email a link to exchange. So i attempted the process again. My only option was a gift with Joyride for the total amount. If I wanted money back it was only a fraction of the cost of the that was already charged to my CC. If I sent back I would also be responsible for some of the shipping. Our dog is just about two years old. We have owned 4 or 5 Joyride harnesses. Never had a problem like this before. I joyride has done nothing to try to fix it or listen to the return limitations.
I will shop local and support local moving forward. Disappointed with them and they just don't seem to care.

I've dropped my dog three times when she easily slipped out of this collar. I hate this product. My sister-in-law gave this to us. I think she hates me. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

The harness is not made to pick up and carry your dog. I am sorry you had this experience.
This is after a week of walking my 50lb dog with the double leash. The worst piece of crap. Emailed them. No response. They are the worst. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Tip for consumers:
Do not
I would never ever order from this company again. I ordered a harness and it never arrived but the tracking said it was delivered. I tried to contact the company and did a live chat someone was supposed to reach me and they didn't. I contacted them again and I was told it was in my mailbox like I'm stupid and don't know where I get my mail. I included pictures of my mailbox a 3x3 inch box that cannot take packages and the box is outdoors at an apartment complex so if it was left outside then it was taken.
Still they insist it was delivered and I should look again. I have been looking since Jan 3,2021. They have no way to actually call them or get a response and why should they? They have my money and I have no product. They don't allow reviews on their website which is fishy, so I don't think all those reviews are any genuine.
I also did some research the company was known as puglife and they changed their name to joyride. According to the BBB puglife had so many complaints about people not getting their product that it looks like they changed their name to get around it. I can't believe they would scam people in the middle of a pandemic when money is already tight. Off to Amazon where the same type of harness is being sold for cheaper.
Tip for consumers:
Please add if you are able to leave a review on their site or any other research about this company.

Harness
I purchased a Joyride harness for my friends' (who live across the country) dog. To determine the size he would need, I used the size chart provided on Joyride's website. Despite ordering what should have been the correct size, the harness he received (size M) was strangely enormous. My friends decided they couldn't make it work and wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. I contacted Joyride by email to notify them of the exchange and they very speedily sent me a prepaid postage label by email to send to them. So I requested an exchange for the same harness one size down (size S), my friends returned the size M harness and then we waited and waited. At the three week mark, I wrote to Joyride to inquire about the exchange. They apologized and said they didn't know why it was taking so long. Another week later, my friends received their new harness, which, this time, is so small they can't even get it over the dog's head. I write to Joyride again explaining the situation and that I would like to this time request a refund since their sizing didn't seem to work for them. It was then that they told me they'd be unable to send me a prepaid postage label and that my friends (the people who were supposed to be getting a gift out of all of this) would have to pay out of pocket to return the item. I wrote again asking them to please consider a prepaid label that they could deduct from my refund amount, just to not have to put my friends in the awkward position of paying to return their own gift, but they rejected the request, saying it was "against policy for second returns." This is mostly a story about refunds being difficult but there's another moral in here about also paying attention to their strange sizing conventions, an issue that seems innocuous enough until you find yourself in the position to need to process a return. I will be all too happy to patronize business that are interested in helping their customers find the proper item, rather than those who try to stiff them with those that don't work after a single return.
I've tried literally dozens of harnesses. This is the absolute worst harness I've ever seen, from a company with the worst service.
Most importantly? Joyride likes to say you can put your dog in this harness in "2 seconds flat".
My dog got out of the harness in less than 1 second.
Last night my dog got excited by something - I'm guessing a fox - and started flipping out. I was holding tight to his leash and before I knew it, with a swift kick of his legs & a wiggle of his head, he was out! He took off running. If it hadn't been for a fence between him and the animal, he would have been long gone and I never would have caught up to him. It was absolutely terrifying.
The worst part? I was warned this could happen. When I first ordered the harness, it took over a month for it to be to delivered. Joyride lied each step of the way about why it was taking so long. The tracking very clearly stated it sat in a warehouse for over a month, but they told me at least three different stories. I was understandably frustrated and vented my frustration on Twitter.
That's when someone told me, hey, don't use that harness! His dog had escaped from it quickly and with great ease. I tried to tell myself that I should still give it an honest try, but that I'll just be extra diligent about making sure the straps are always tight.
So I was. Each and every time I put my dog in that harness, I retightened the straps. After only a month of using it, it seemed like after even just a five minute walk, the straps would be entirely loosened by the time I took it off him.
Sure enough, I think that's the root of the problem. The clasp and tightening rings are just too loose. Exert even the tiniest bit of resistance and the strap slips straight through, loosening to the point where my dog was able to quickly wriggle right out of it. That loose strap combined with the poor design of the front - with nothing securing against the chest - makes the Joyride Harness easily the worst designed dog harness I have ever seen.
Please, please, please, I am begging you!
Do. Not. Buy. A. Joyride. Harness!
Don't make the same mistake I did. No amount of diligence will ever overcome its poor design. Keep your dog safe and opt for a better harness. Trust me, it'll be worth it!
Horrible customer service and ok product so not worth dealing with! Ordered a harness on Black Friday. Received an email mid December that shipping was delayed due to the pandemic. Ok, not a problem... completely understand and truly appreciated them reaching out. Received two more emails like that about a week apart each, and I always replied with understanding (yet never received a tracking number with any of those emails... just an email to blame shipping so they didn't take any responsibility). In early January I followed up since I still hadn't received my order. Was finally given tracking and told to contact them in 5 days if it hadn't arrived. Side note, per tracking, the item shipped AFTER they sent me those other emails blaming the pandemic and shipping delays. I questioned that, but they didn't acknowledge it or even respond. 10 days later, I followed up again to ask where it was, referencing the previous email to follow up after 5 days (though I had given 10 days). I then received the exact same email with tracking, asking me to contact them in 5 days if I hadn't received it. Wrote back and told them it's already been 10 days since you sent the exact same email! So per the first message, I'm letting you know again it's been 10 days and I haven't received it and tracking wasn't moving (actually at this point tracking still stated "USPS awaiting shipment."). And all previous messages were included, which I referenced in each response, but they obviously didn't read them or care to. Have not received another response. And in all these messages, I never received a sincere apology (which really goes a long way); no offer to reship since it had been 2 months; no offer of a refund just for shipping. Product is ok at best... harness around the belly does not stay where you adjusted it. It loosens up so my dog can get out. She actually got out while on a hike. Thankfully she ran to me and not lost in the mountains. Even with that, I'd consider ordering again if they offered better customer service. This was actually my second harness (she escaped using our original harness. After that escape, we were hooking her leash to the harness and collar on hikes). I understand it's a small business; however, I have a small business also and will always offer an apology along with some type of resolution even when it is lost in shipping... especially after two months!
Slowest shipping ever. Never again. This place sucks. This place sucks... this place sucks... sucks
100% transparency is a value our company carries so we're happy to address things for you. Firstly, Joyride Harness is indeed a family-owned and operated business out of Los Angeles, California. Like most companies you may be familiar with, we research and develop our products in house and send off to manufacturers in China - which, too, are tested and revamped accordingly to meet our requirements in quality. We have several warehouses that we ship from, our main warehouse being in Carson, California. However, with the high volume of international orders we receive, it was in the best logistical sense to place a warehouse overseas for those shipments. Available stock of each product is also a factor. This is a common practice with companies, and in no way does it devalue the quality of the product. We do apologize for the delay in communications and will take your comments to management for review.
