Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.

Not enough replacement parts stocked. You need to have more items in stock at Daytona location. When I go there to purchase parts, I usually get told I have to order it instead of walking out of the store with what I need. Hate that... Website used to tell me if it was in-stock at my location but you took that away...
At least you can get a part there even if you do have to order it. Dealers don't stock parts for older models so you are better off getting something better than stock from J&P.

Good prices, shipping is quick, and most things are in stock.
The parts I ordered are of good quality and had no installation problems with mounting. The shipping through USPS is horrendous, being mine goes through the new Atlanta, GA processing center that is currently dysfunctional since its startup. Receiving dates constantly changed to later dates.

Bought a carburetor, paid almost $300 at J&p cycles found the same exact carburetor on Amazon for 50 bucks these people are ripoffs, call to cancel the order 15 minutes after placing it and they said it was too late even though they waited 2 more days to ship it out.
They work on a regular time schedule unlike Amazon that's 24/7

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
