Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I am very happy with the technical support at J&P. HOWEVER my order placed on the 15th got to Madison Wi.(less than 70 miles from me) and sat there for 2.5 days. UPS told me that the shpper J&P allows them to transfer to others for the lowest shipping rate. My package was under a pound and could have been put in the mail and avoid all this.
8 days to get my parts. THIS SUCKS.
J&P from now on will be a last resort for me.

I ended up with two sets because in the description of the part and ordering, I didn't see where your site stated whether the price was for one or a set of bag bars.
Ordered a set of tires, exact same make and model just different sizes. I live just down the road on the other side of SD from the Sturgis J&P, but one of my tires (the one that mattered due to a flat) came all the way from Chicago and got delayed. Couldn't have just sent em from Sturgis?

It's all good couldn't be any easier to spend 600. Ordered tires and withinin 1 day recieved 1 tire and the 3rd day second tire arrived and that was because there was a Sunday in between. Amazing

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
