Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I had a very good experience with J AND P cycles. Whenever I got my order delivered to the wrong place they fixed it for me. Item worked as intended.

Was not a Complete kit. I needed 1 more quart of primary and a gasket for the primary. That didn't come with the kit. But it was a learning experience.

I bought this light years ago when completing this custom build. Because I "Frenched In" this custom LED, when it malfunctioned last month I was concerned that I might have to Modify my back fender if I couldn't get an exact replacement.
Dug up the old receipt and low and behold it was still available, 10 years later!
It was a direct replacement for the one I had. So Awesome it was still available...Thank you J&P!

I recently moved and placed an order with my old address. The order shipped so quick I was not able to stop/ change the address. After the order was deliveries to the wrong address, J&P sent a replacement order to the correct address at no cost to me. Communication was fast and professional (even tracking over a wknd). These guys went over and above even thou it was my error.

I made a big mistake. I have had this bike for over 20 years and forgot that I got an open air kit installed shortly after buying the it. This is a complete different filter. Ken was nice enough to send a return label. I ordered the right one this time.

I ordered buck horn handlebars and they were here in two days. Nice chrome finish and dimpled for wiring harnesses.

Sent the wrong breakline. Had to use an alternate company for the correct length line. Shipping was inaccurately described. One product (clutch cable) was not allowed to be express shipped though it wasn't disclosed until after the process was investigated. Had to use an alternate company for the clutch cable. And the wiring extensions arrived incomplete. Ended up hardwiring the extended lengths(which I was trying to avoid). All in all, aside from the customer service reps I talked to, this wasnt a satisfactory result.
They were helpful, within their capacity. However, though helpful as they were, the experience warrants me to use a different company moving forward.

I ordered the Harley part number *******-99 from JP Cycles because I feel I can trust the company. I searched for the part on line and JP Cycles had the tube with the part number printed on the part in the discrimination. I saw the part on Amazon for about $10.00, cheaper than JP Cycles, but decided I want the part with the part number printed on the part. This says to me it is an OEM part. I received the part today and the number was not printed on the part. Why not? Tell me why. Is this a Harley OEM part? Sell what you show. Trust is difficult to regain.

Price and first time order discount.
My old tank had lots of rust and loads of the chrome flaked off into the tank. Rather than mess with that, I chose to get a replacement. Surprisingly, the replacement also has rust in it and at least one flake of chrome. This is far less that the original oil tank and I should be able to clean it up ok, but it is a disappointment.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
