Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
It's nice to know that my order will fit my bike, no guessing games.
I was recently trying to find some highway foot pegs for my 2010 Honda Goldwing that came back for enough for my short legs. I called JNP cycle and we figured out which ones I need. The Kuriakan pigs are great, and the gentleman on the phone made things very easy for me. A pleasure to do business with them.
I needed to return some parts that I ordered incorrectly, and there was no problem at all getting them returned.

The first FP4 I ordered didn't work at all so I sent it to Vance and Hines and they confirmed that it was no good. They sent me a second one and I was able to install it but my bike now runs terrible. I really just want my money back at this point.
Don't waste your money. The tech service is also worthless. My bike is backfiring on acceleration
Not able to help at all. They knew nothing about the FP4 at all. Just passed the buck to the manufacturer and they don’t seem to know anything either.

There had been an issue with the first shipping attempt with USPS, not cleared by Customs berfore leaving US. The support from Custome Service at J&P Cycles has been immediate and very effective. The items was immediately shipped again by UPS with no additional charge for me. I received it just three days after the notification. I looked all over the website to see if prices were listed in American or Canadian dollars, I assumed American. At the VERY LAST PAGE IN FINE PRINT it finally confirms that the prices are American. Summit racing and other sites will list prices converted to local currency.
Tracking on my package was largely worthless. Package moved 3 times in 2 weeks with the first two being customs in the same location and the last update simply stating 'a facility' in Canada

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
