Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I had problems with these semi-capitalist years ago. (Old Owner?). I absentmindedly placed an order for a single (in stock?) tire and when I realized that they hadn't shipped the following day, I placed my first call. I held for 23 mins and "was disconnected after 30 seconds with somebody named John"?
My chat was never answered. The only connection that I could complete was the "New Order Line" and even they hung up after my first question?
Once I found these people I knew I found a gem. Anytime I have questions about products or ask for help finding something they are there to help me. They do not mind answering any question I have. I will continue to order from them in the future.

I ordered tires from JP and 1 arrived, 2 weeks later the other showed up but was the wrong one we didn't order. We went on Amazon, ordered matching tires and they arrived on Sunday the next day. We will never use JP again. Oh we ended up giving the unmatched tires to a MC shop in town.
They sent the wrong part I called them they said they would ship the correct part. And when I get my new printer to print a return label and send the incorrect part back. No email to confirm. Called them next day to confirm. Nothing will get fixed until They receive the part in transit from UPS. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm a Gold club member, I think they should be a little more respectful to there customers. I will send the whole order back and buy from another company. I will not do business with this outfit again! They have cost me money and time, just not worth the hassle.
Just placed order and it arrived in normal amount of time and in great condition of all packages.

For small trinket items they are ok. If it is a larger purchase, watch out. I tried to buy a seat from them, and they say "usually ships in 2-4 days". Been over a month and still no seat. No help from customer service, so cancelled the order. They also tried to charge me twice for the seat, which cost me money to put a hold on the payment. Also charge a card over $500.00 with no authorization to do so. Now waiting for days to get my money back. Extremely dissapointed in JP. Can't trust them either.

This ship is going down! I can't imagine anyone wanting to wait for as long as they do for the simplist of items. Example, I ordered an inner tube. That's it, a week later it is still in picking. I contact the Rats and they tell me it will be shipped that day or the following. 5 business days later, still in picking. Called again just to inquire if anyone was actually working and was told they have it in stock and should be out today or the following. That should be their tag line "when we get around to it". Stay far far away, go to Amazon or somewhere else!
Ordered parts for my streetglide. Tried J&P. Well, part didn't fit, not even close.
So, send the part back. Now I wait for my money back... at this point my attorney is going to be handling this. Run away from this site and company! I'll never buy from this place again! Can't even get an answer as to when my money comes back. Terrible service!

It was evident that it was a reliable online source for motorcycle parts. I will be buying again if I need more parts!
I chose them because they were important parts to complete the adventure/dual sport build on my z125 Pro!
I have been going back and forth with customer service about getting the right parts I need for over 8 months and they just kept sending me the wrong thing and not reading my emails evidently. After several times of them sending the same wrong parts I finally talked to somebody that actually read my emails and resolved it and got me the right parts put on hold for me until I sent the other ones back. Now they are trying to charge me full price and not credit me for the money I spent on the wrong ones they sent me. I am very unhappy with this company. If it's not resolved by this Monday march 1st 2021 I will be reporting the company to the better buisness bureau. I have had enough of this. After everything I've been through with them for the past 8 months I shouldn't have to pay any extra charges in my opinion. I don't recommend this company to anyone

Use another reputable company with good ratings. I've learned my lesson to not use j&p cycles for anything!

I didn't use anything yet. They keep sending the wrong parts and now they aren't giving me credit for my return and trying to charge me full price after they have received the ones that I returned that I never opened or tried to use. This has been a back and forth issue for 8months now and to be honest I don't think I should even have to pay the difference in the price after all the crap I've been through over this the past 8 months. I haven't been able to ride my bike all this time because of poor quality customer service

I ordered a new back tire that was listed as being in stock. More than a week later the tire did not ship. I went online and contacted support. They started to tell me that the tire is in stock and will ship soon. I stopped them and said the tire was listed as in stock over a week ago and has not shipped.
I then asked a simple question "If this is how you do business, why am I a customer?" and "is this company really THIS bad?"
The customer service rep then put in writing that they will ship the tire immediately and send it over night air. Did they ship the tire that day? Yes but they shipped it GROUND. The original order had two day shipping. A week later the tire arrived.
Save yourself the hassle of asking yourself why am I a customer of J&P and order it from another shop.
They advertise next day shipping but it took like 7 days before my order went out. They messed up charging me way over so it maxxed out my credit card and messed up getting my parts. It went out in 3 seperate shipments which meant that 3 different times UPS messed up the delivery and I had to go pick them up myself. This place will be my last resort in the future

Good experience, they have a vast catalog of parts, but I have noticed that they don't have much in terms of metrics, otherwise it's fine. I went to the store in Florida and I loved it, it's incredible. I'm from Puerto Rico, there isn't a store of those proportions here.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
