Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Prices are steep and should have came with the plug as a kit

Ordered a Bell Bullitt helmet that was on sale for $319.99 originally $399.99. Noticed that it had not been shipped. Contacted them via online chat. The rep tells me my helmet was backordered and it could be a month until it ships to me. OR I have the option to exchange it for a different color. I decided to wait. Get an email a few days later and it says that they have cancelled my order due to the helmet being discontinued from the manufacturer. I contact them again via telephone and they say that they cant exchange it for another color like they said before. They say I have to pay full price for the other color, and the one that was in stock when I purchased has been sent to someone else. After much persistence the rep tells me they can move the price down to $349.99 but I have to do it now on the phone with her or no deal. The rep then tells me "They cant go lower because that would take away from their profit margin". I refuse. The worst part is before I placed my order, Revzilla told me they would match that $319.99 price that day.
Delivery was right on point! Will be using J&P in the future when need be

Wide variety of products.
I needed a particular item.
Try to change a tire size ordered minutes after ordering and was told I had to wait until opening time at 8 o'clock and then I was told it was too late. I will never order from them again.
Carl, we're sorry to hear we fell short of a great experience. Please know that we take your feedback seriously and will be passing it on to our Leadership Team.
J&P Cycles is a great place to buy motorcycle tires. I have always received fresh new tires with rapid shipping. Never a problem. SD
Return customer. Always get good service and rapid shipping.
I ordered parts on a Tuesday,... each of the 5 items ordered stated "ships within two business days"...,;
well, 6 business days later, and three emails sent, and 3 unanswered phone calls..., still missing two items from the order to finish my bike repair for a customer. Cant get anyone to answer the phone..., and the email response says " your parts will arrive today"...,, absolute joke... which was 2 days ago...
In my opinion, its not worth the trouble or few dollars savings..., especially if you pay for shipping... I actually went directly to the Harley dealership and paid approximately 15% more for the parts, and no Shipping fee and walked out of the store with the Correct items in hand and finished the bike and got paid by customer..., and it costs nothing to return if parts are incorrect..., J&P charges $10 for each return..., even if Their website part # is listed Incorrectly...
Their online prices are competative, the part numbers listed are often Incorrect or not complete..., and if you dont get your stuff when needed..., good luck getting someone to answer the phone or respond Correctly to and email...
I will Never order my motorcycle parts from this; online, understaffed and incorrectly listed/advertised dealer again...
Find a local dealership with a seasoned parts guy and get a repour going and possibly a slight discount..., and you will be Much happier, and better off than dealing with this understaffed place.
Like the saying goes...: "You pay peanuts, you get Monkeys..."
Tip for consumers:
Nothing beats a true "Brick and Mortar" store, to speak with someone with a brain, that has actual motorcycle knowledge and can help you find the correct parts, within a reasonable timeframe and maybe even offer helpful advice.....
its worth the extra few bucks....., once all these real stores are gone..., your stuck dealing with these online, useless, clueless people....
Products used:
I used 50% of what I purchased..., 2 items never arrived (not received after 8 days, so I cancelled order) one item I had to return since it was listed incorrectly (inaccurate part #'s) and didnt fit...., and it cost me $10 for return shipping label....
Easy to find parts and parts were on time great place to shop
Easy to order
Part I needed

Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
