Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
The purchase was easy, it shipped right away. It also came in a reusable sealed container to reduce oil spilling
Love J&P. Variety of parts and most importantly, parts for older bikes. Some Harley dealers won't even work on classics!

I've ordered from J&P probably half a dozen times at least in the last 6-9 months because I'm building a shadow bobber from a completely stock 2002 Honda Shadow Vt750 ACE. They have great prices and s huge selection. The have extremely helpful customer service reps as well as things I couldn't find elsewhere. Will definitely be ordering from them again soon. Only have a few things left for the build but I'll be coming here to buy then.
I just needed to return a bracket and they emailed me a shipping label, I think it cost a few bucks but not much and I just dropped it at UPS store. Another smooth transaction.
They have a huge selection and carry a lot of stuff for metric cruisers, and there's not a whole lot of places that do. Also the payment plans are great, and the one time I needed to return something was smooth and hassle free.

Easy to order all the parts I wanted. Shipping was the only real issue I had. Most items stated they would ship out next day and would be two day shipping. About half of my order didn't ship for multiple working days and most took longer than two days.

The headlight spreads across the entire road and then some, the bright setting is essentially a spot light that shines in the middle of said beam. I haven't got the turn signals working correctly yet, they only light up and do not strobe but I'm sure I'll figure it out tonight.

I found a replacement shifter shaft for my j&p cycles forward controls. But you dont carry a replacement shift lever for it.

Bought a few bits from them overtime for some Harleys I've owned. Aftermarket Harley stuff is sketchy at best, feels safer to buy from someone I've dealt with before. So like everyone else, I'll come back again.

Ordered some hand grips for Fatboy. Difficult in paying for product. Also shipping a little slow they use UPS to transit to Florida then use USPS to deliver a very slow process. Would not order again.
All parts ordered were received. All installed with no problem for fitment. Very satisfied with experience.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
