Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
My experience was very quick and the parts were easy to search and find
I know you are at the mercy of the shippers, but JP used to be the company that got you stuff quick! Printing a shipping label is not the same as shipping. You need to be quicker to be back on top
Thought it would be the fastest way to get parts I needed
I needed them (replacement parts)
Because Dennis Kirk is bad
You have it in stock
The parts I ordered are of good quality and had no installation problems with mounting. The shipping through USPS is horrendous, being mine goes through the new Atlanta, GA processing center that is currently dysfunctional since its startup. Receiving dates constantly changed to later dates.
Had the parts I was in need of.
They were broke is why I chose the parts I ordered.
It was fine. I had help with the site so my experience wasn't really my own.
A friend suggested your website
Needed new tires
My experience was ok. I am technology impaired, so I prefer the old catalog method. However, I made it through. This time.
The folks are still righteous.
I will definitely order from you again.
Recommendation from my mechanic.
Closest I could find to stock
Arrived OK but took longer than usual. Glad I was able to take apart and clean the old one or my bike would have been down for 2 weeks.
Not much other choices and they usually deliver way faster than this time.
Old switch died. This is common with Harley ignition switches. Happened once on my Dyna and this is the 3rd time on my Heritage.
Quick and easy shopping and prompt delivery at a reasonable cost
Availability of item
Very Good Experience, I used to go to J&P in person about 15 years ago and since I live 250 miles away the use of the interweb makes it much easier..
Company name recognition
Product name recognition
I ended up with two sets because in the description of the part and ordering, I didn't see where your site stated whether the price was for one or a set of bag bars.
Good website, fairly easy to navigate. Received products in a timely fashion.
Had the products needed
Correct for 1980 motorcycle.
The measurements of the bags were a little small. The material is thin. But they will do for the price.
I have been a customer for 10 years.
Need and price
Order had to be sent in two parts, and the backlogged items took a little longer than I would have liked, but they followed through and got them to me.
Convenience, past experiences
It was what I needed at the right price.
Use J&P always and will continue to use them. Fair price, great service.
Wanted them
Wanted them
Read above it should have more hardware with it now i've got to $#*! around to kind the pedals to fit it
Really wanted the drag specialties flame grips, but they're out.
I've shopped with y'all in the past and have had good experiences.
I needed new grips (current ones are old and sticky) and will now need new gloves because of the current sticky grips I will be replacing.
Thanks for the options.
I haven't tried it yet.
I'll let you know.
The survey is annoying
I ordered 2 things
I got 1 so far
So?
I'm waiting.
Idk
Tall popped up when I searched for the parts I wanted.
I needed them
The light easily mounted and the electric hookup was as expected, for the cost the turn signal should had been sequential. Overall the light is bright and adds a nice safety feature to wake up the zombies behind me.
Easy search for items which have been as expected quality items.
Wanted a clean factory looking highly visible tail light that was easy to install.
Website is decent. I've used j&p alot! The order Communication was horrible. I had to take my time to go through the chat process just to find out there was a multi party shipping, which my customer assistant didn't have a clue about my shipping. I was told I'd receive an email when shipment happens. Lack of communication is not for me. I'll be parting ways with J&P.
No answers or instant information about my order.
Used to be reliable.
Needed them.
I ordered a part for a 2001 volusia 800 and received a part for an 1988? 650.
I have not returned it yet. But will definitely return it for a refund.
History of good service.
Because I needed the part.
Decent service and they had the tires in stock for delivery at the time
Available product
Was unsure on which tire would fit on my 07 harley one call to j&p cycle staff and was very politely given the correct information on my purchase.
Was feeling a little embarrassed about calling customer support i have been riding for 42 years and think of myself pretty knowledgeable about motorcycles. Customer support treated me with the utmost respect and was very knowledgeable and helpful!!

Right product, quick enough shipping. They had the part in stock, it shipped out after the weekend
Positive previous experience
Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
