Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
This was easy this time but I ordered tires the other day and they said they would be here last Wednesday then I got a message saying they would be here tomorrow on Saturday now I get a message saying they won't be here till next week that really sucks

I don't guess this is on J&P, but I got my tire in 2 days, but the shipper took a week to get the brake pads, so it kind of screwed up the installation schedule

Usually have what I need. Fairly priced and top quality plus a generous military discount so nothing to complain about. Had an issue with wrong product which is really rare but it was taken care of in no time and even went above and beyond when they did not have too.

Nothing crazy here. Got exactly the part I needed. (New air filter for 2015 road glide). Ended up buying 2 but they both came in great condition. The website was extremely easy to navigate and putting my bike in so I would only get results for things that fit it worked great!

Bought an All Balls starter for my '09 Road Glide. Price and quality were really good, and shipping to Canada was very fast. My only criticism is that the OEM starter was black powdercoat while the aftermarket was only painted black. It is noticeable, so hopefully this will be corrected.

After receiving my part notice that there was a broken piece connected customer service which was more than helpful no questions asked but what was wrong with part and what I wanted them to do about it received replacement part in decent time very happy with experience and overall service will definitely recommend to friends and anyone that is looking for good parts
A BIG Value Add for J&P was their full catalog but very important was the Antique parts catalog. On line ordering is not all that easy without the help of finding the part numbers I would stop using J&P as my main source for HD new and Antique motorcycles parts. The online search engine Sucks. One I get the part number out of the old J&P catalog the ordering, payment and shipment process is very good. Go to the J&P store in Sturgis or Daytonna, check out the parts counter and you will see the parts guys using the old J&P cataloges to look up part numbers.

A real pain to wire thèse Handlebar even with the tip you can see on their youtube video otherwise they are awsome. I'm Canadian and I had to pay both tax us and Canadian. Usually us business recognise Canadian Byers and the dont charge tax.

I contacted my local J&P...in Sturgis but the parts I needed were not in stock. I checked the website and ordered them there. I had to pay a little shipping but it was cheaper than the gas would have been to drive to the store. All is good.
When searching the part number I needed, J&P popped up as a distributer.

I needed highway peg clamps that would fit my 1 1/2” Cobra fatty bars and work with my existing pegs.
I went to order my battery online. There is a JP cycles in Scottsdale that I thought I might be able to pick up my battery from. My friend told me they have it there at the location. I was hoping if I bought it online, I could either pick it up or have it mailed really fast, as I'm only one town over. My battery got mailed from New Jersey. Not a complaint But it left me questioning the logistics

Because I felt confident this battery would fit (I have had very bad luck with the wrong fit, even though the site stays it’s compatible with my stock bike). It did fit.

J&P had the parts in stock that I needed! Easy to locate the exact parts. Looking for normal maintenance items (brake pads this time) and a couple of changes/up grades. (seat cover & taller windshield).
Usual dealer did not have parts in stock.
It was a easy process find and ordering products. The packaging was great no damage to the products where I received it. It was exactly what I ordered.
They have a large selection of parts and gear I'm interested in. The price is comparable. The ease of ordering. They pack and ship products quickly.
I choose the products because they are exactly what I want and have a comparable price to other places.
Mounting the slip on mufflers to the exhaust pipe was the tricky part. Provided clamps don't open big enough with out the nut of clamp coming off. Still working on getting the clamp on correctly.

I'm frustrated with buying next day shipping. One item said ships within 24 hours and the other said next business day. The next business day item shipped fine but the ship within 24 hour item took 4 days to ship. That's crazy for price I paid.
Had other levers get snapped off too easily. This one fit perfectly and is much better constructed than the others. I believe this one will withstand the abuse better than the others. :)

Fit and better construction.
I ordered a key switch or ignition for my Harley. The part came on time and looked nice. The switch fit on the mounting hole made to the bike nicely. The switch wires however were not long enough to make things simple. Then the barrel keys are not a factory type fit. Meaning that I have to wiggle the key some once it's in the switch to get it to line up where you can turn it on and then wiggle again to remove it. I could have ordered the same thing on Amazon for 10 dollars less if I knew that was the quality I was getting. Still 4 stars because it works and I was able to splice and extend the wires. Not the associates fault the parts aren't solid. Also, I wanted to get more parts and they are out of stock. I even called to verify and there are no sources for a sissy bar with uprights for my 94 fxr superglide.

I need a speedometer sensor for a 16 ultra low. They had it in stock took a little longer to get here than I anticipated but my customer will be happy camper when I'm done with it.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
