Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Half of my order was correct, half was not. I'll be returning the wrong one. I'll be contacting customer service soon
The one time I needed expedited shipping, j&p failed. Customer service was understanding and refunded the shipping cost and the part.
Unable to get part as ordered but overall good
Appears to be a good company
Ordered one kit received kit that I didn't refer instead. Still in process of exchanging for correct item. But bike is still sitting on lift when it could have been completed by now had I received what I ordered.
Explained situation. Still waiting on outcome.
They had what I needed.
I needed to correct an issue on my bike
My friend had ordered me a new idle adjustment screw (unsure if it came from J&P; however, J&P does list that one as correct for my carb) that is listed as the correct part for an S&S Shorty-E carb, that looked very nice, fit in the hole, but was threaded only halfway up. We tried and tried to get the carb adjusted right, but it just couldn't be done. Finally another friend looked at my carb and his (same model) and noticed that his idle adjustment screw was threaded the whole length -- so I bought another one like that, and voila, it works correctly. We do not know if that first one was for a later model of carburetor, or what, but it was the wrong part even though it is listed as the right one.
Good reputation -- also came up first in search results
Was great came the day they said it would. Was well packed box.
Had it in stock
Needed extra shield for helmet.
See the title... From ordering to receiving my vest to this follow up email😎.
Word of mouth.
Needed a replacement jacket.
No issues as usual dealing with J&P Cycle. If I can't find it on my own I just call.
Quality and availability
Because everyone should have one in their bikes
Parts came in quick, got rear shocks on. They are pretty sweet for a bigger guy 400lb and no bottoming out so far. Can't wait to get front progressive springs in.
I purchased a couple of products from J&P Cycles. This review is fir the HogWorkz 4 point docking system, and the HogWorkz luggage rack, the Air Wing for Harley touring. Both utems were purchased at the same time, yet shipped separately, which is a little annoying. If it had been only a day or two between shipping dates it wouldn't have been an issue...but there was like a 4 or 5 day lag so that kinda sucked because I wanted to get my project started.
The products were well packed and protected.
The chrome 4 point docking system is beautiful and sturdy with heavy chrome. Really an outstanding product and I highly recommend it.
The luggage rack was however, really disappointing. The chrome and rack were very thin, and the end piece was chromed plastic, barely attached to the rack itself. For something that sells close to $200, well, it just didn't seem quality.
The return was easy and customer service was excellent.
The live chat solved my problems and I was able to send the product back. I will definitely recommend the service I received.
Selection and quality plus a very solid reputation.
Needed to upgrade some parts

Needed to upgrade some parts
Be been using J&P Cycle for many years. Most of the time happy. This order I bought a brake line for my 1989 FLH. It came in fast but when I took the old line off it was to short. Now I know working on these old bikes can be a pain so not really upset. Just wish there was a better way to dugout the parts I need.
I can shop anytime of the day, website is good. Prices are great!
The line I purchased showed two hoses when in fact there’s only one. That’s Okay. It’s braided stainless and that’s why I bought it.
Slow delivery from the time ordered to shipped. Pretty disappointed in the amount of time it took
Everything went very smooth. My air filter fit my Road King and at a good price also.
Selection of parts and prices.

Price and service
Quality and value
Ordered it got it good to go Order cane promptly no issues whatsoever. Enjoy shopping on your website
When you try and use a device such as an IPhone with IOS, the site is limited and frustrating. You pick the vehicle you are searching parts for but when you select the parts the selected bike is erased and gives the whole parts list for every motorcycle. On the actual website the side Llosa allows you to stay within the selected bike. This doesn't exist in the IOS version. Very poorly designed platform!
With a lathe I was able to turn down the diameter of the part that fits into the pipe. Looks great I may just buy another and do the same since the replacement tip looks much better than the one Vance and Hines gives you with the exhaust
I'm a big fan of great customer service,I always shop JP for My Harley before I Go anywhere else.
I lost my exhaust tip on a ride and needed a replacement.
The inner primary bearing kit I ordered had the wrong seal in it. Contacted J&P and the tech couldn't verify what was supposed to be in the kit. Was supposed to verify the contents of the kit in the morning and give me a call back. Received no call back. Contacted manufacturer of kit and they corrected the issue.
One of seals it the inner primary bearing kit was the wrong seal. Associate I talked to was going to confirm what was supposed to be in the kit the next day and call me back. Received no call back. Contacted the manufacturer of the kit and they corrected the issue.
Easy and quick shipping. I have never had a problem with delivery
Almost always do.
I was looking for a more stable axle adjustment. Had some trouble. The threads on each end of the axle were less then perfect.
Not impressed with the machining. There is no mention of interference with stock mufflers and long shocks. It does require a hammer. The mount boss for the spools is in the way. Also I was expecting marks to align the wheel. They are not there at all. Except for the crappy threads installation was fairly straigh forward although there are no instructions.
All parts worked great. Great price. Shipping... not so much. Got a UPS tracking number from J&P. The day it was supposed to arrive, the UPS tracking info hadn't changed. 3 days later, the parts were delivered through USPS. But was in a FEDEX bag
Good product
That's what I needed to fix my bike
Fast shipping & good customer service and all hd items are available in the store
They have everything you need to repair and service your scooter at great prices.
Didn't see anywhere where I could apply my discount code so I guess I don't get it.
Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
