Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I would have paid the higher price from the other company, if I knew it was being shipped by FedEx. They always mess up keep changing delivery date.

The new harley tri glides sound like Hondas and I didn't buy a Honda. I wanted to hear the harley sound of the milwaukee 114. The cobra 909 mufflers are not extremely loud and they have the sound I wanted

Put on some crappy ebay pipes initially on my sportster 883 and came to j&p's website. Found everything i need from drag pipes, to the flanges for the factory header pipes, to all of the exhaust gaskets. Everything fit perfectly. Shipped to my door fast! (Within 1 week!) and worked out perfectly! 10/10 would shop again!

It actually wasn't my first choice. My first choice was discontinued. This was the only one I could find that fits.

Went to put the grips on my handlebars and the throttle sticks. I even lubricated the handlebar before it went in and throttle stick. The grips are comfortable, but they're not manufactured to the proper spec.
I've order many parts in the past from JP Cycles and was never disappointed. Because amazon had nearly next day delivery for my replacement battery and my impatience I pulled the trigger with Amazon. The battery turned out to be a dud but took about a month to tell me. I lost $200 because of "no return".
I ordered from JPC, the battery was here in a little less than a week. It's installed and I'm sure I got a quality product.

Online ordering is truly a drag when a company has more than you can look at. I really miss the paper catalog,any time you had a question about something not in the catalog you could call customer service and clarify.

The spring is not even close to the OEM product and broke the minute I got it on and it took more than an hour of fighting with it. The OEM part re-installed in less than 2 minutes.
I thought they would have the right part.

My oil pressure never showers up I got in contact with them and they shipped out a replacement asap and I got it the second time around

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
