Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
After receiving our new helmets (matching His/Hers) I had a few questions and call in to Tech support. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. Now after using them for several weeks we are very happy. The tinted visor is easy to flip down, as well as the face shield. It easily slips on over my glasses, so I don't need to keep removing them before putting on a helmet. My Sena 20s mounted on the new helmet perfectly. The helmet is quiet but enjoyable (even with my 70 electra glide).
My only comment is using the chin strap will take me some getting used to.
If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I ordered 1500 dollars of products, then went to go pull money out of my account and found that they had charged it twice! They are saying it's a pre authorized charge and will drop off within 5-7 business days.so your telling me I need 3,000 in my account to buy 1500 of product? Then have the nerve to tell me I have to wait for it to drop off?! Horrible customer service! Now I have to do I claim thru my bank and still waiting to be refunded the second charge. If I want to buy 1500 worth of parts, I expect to only be charged 1500! Their policies are absolute garbage!
I checked out an exhaust and it had a price range. I put my bike info in and it shows it will fit and the price of the item. When I check my cart after adding it to my cart the price is (higher). I don't know if its an issue with the website or they are being deceptive. It is a shame as It used to be a great place to buy motorcycle parts.
Tip for consumers:
Double check prices after you add them to your cart!
J&P made it super easy to find what I was looking for. Shipping was so fast! Always like shopping here for my bike.
You had what I wanted at a good price.
I need to get rid of stock grips
I was billed twice, the first customer service person I spoke with over the live chat just said there records didn't show a double charge and there was nothing else she could do about it. So I called the phone number and spoke to a guy who said that the second bill would be removed after the item ships out... Wtf? That makes 0 sense. No other website I've ordered parts or anything from has ever billed me twice until the items ship out. So if you absolutely insist on ordering something from them, make sure you have double however much you want to spend. Or your account will go negative and you'll get fees from you bank. Seriously seems like something shady af going on with this company.
Order arrived on time and was shipped out quickly, overall experience was very good. I will definitely be ordering from J&P Cyles again.
Had the best price on the item I was looking for.
Used the reviews of other satisfied customers to ensure the product I was thinking about buying was right for me.
Ordered tires... tires! Not some hard, special doohickey, just tires, site said in stock, ships 1-2 days, on sale 30% off... I took the bait. One tire showed up 4 days later, here it is 9 days later and my order still says " in picking". Been on 4 live chats, one person named Gill just didn't respond to my question of when will the other tire ship. The other three just gave me the same line about warehouse issues and one guy told me my order got sent to another warehouse and would ship tomorrow... that was 3 days ago. Joni just simply said "we cannot tell you when your tire will ship until warehouse assigns it a tracking number" really" It's a tire, not a custom gas tank or some long lead item. If you know your going to have a week plus delay stop advertising 1-2 day in stock shipping, its poor business. First and last purchase from Junk & Publishing cycles. Too many other options out there to put up with businesses that will not answer a simple question!
I purchased an avon tire for 140.00 in march of 18. March of 19 (a few weeks ago) I noticed horrible deep cracks all along both sidewalls when getting my bike ready for spring. I put less than 3500 miles on it. Emailed J&P pics and they said since its been a year they cant really do anything without an avon rep giving the ok. I called the avon dealer THEY referred me to and the avon dealer had no idea why J&P would have sent me their way, and explained they are a wholesaler and don't do installs, this ciuldnt diagnose my tire anyway. Ling story short, J&P doesn stand behind their products, gave me the runaround, and I'm out 140.00. Just bought a shinko super classic from amazon for 69.00 and free shipping. Never again J&P.
Ordered an "in stock" item 8 days ago, listed as "pending vendor arrival", with no ETA on shipping, still hasn't shipped. Customer service were not able to provide me with a shipping date (after waiting on hold for nearly an hr on the phone). And my card has been charged for the item. Do NOT use J&P, they will screw up your order. These people are a bunch of incompetent boneheads.
I've ordered from J&P twice. Both times they shipped me the wrong part. The first time I ordered a sissy bar and was sent an exhaust system. The second time I ordered highway bars and was sent a seat. Customer service was no help and each rep told me something different. Waited an extra week each time to receive the correct part and had to drive over 30 minutes to return the wrong items they shipped.
Tip for consumers:
Plan on waiting extra time and returning items
Got a recommendation from the online tech for a turn signal kit for one of my customers bike.the kit came with only half of the mounting hardware and no instructions with no part list "shady" then when i called the customer service tech that had no knowledge of a motorcycle he actually recommend for me to take it to a tech. Lol. When all i needed was the hardware.so when i ask about returning them he said they cant accept return on them because i open the box they came in. What a joke
Found the windshield I was looking for, checkout and delivery went great. Product arrived packaged well. Highly satisfied.
Gloves were good I usually wear a medium that's what I bought first time were a bit to small gave them to girlfriend ordered a large fit just right

Good gear at good reasonable prices will buy from again
Fast shipping good prices good selection
Overall a positive experience., I have never had a bad experience in the last 20 plus years of in-store or online shopping.
Been shopping with JP Cycles for many many years
It's what I needed
Always smooth and easy. Previous customer and will be back again.
Had what I needed
Fits my needs.
Dealt w/JP quite a while back, they're still my first choice for finding what I look for.
Stumbled upon them several years ago from an ad somewhere. They sent me a catalogue for my old HD and I started getting parts from them.
Parts were just what I needed and the price was fair. I know if I have issues or questions about what I need or buy that they'll help out.
My order was filled from a local distribution center so my order arrived really fast. Shocks were just what I needed and got them for a good price.
Just bought oil and gaskets and chose regular shipping. I recieved my stuff 2 days later. Awesome place to buy from.
Did not ship o rings for air cleaner said it would be a week till i get them i paid good money for this product service is crap sent email regarding order before it ships never herd a thang from these idiots
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from here no good
I will do it again no problems ordering I have to c if it fits
Needed a new tire
This was best replacement for my 5 inch on my Suzuki c50 which had buffeting but this one is just over and it got to me in 2 days!
Fast shipping
Need to replace existing deflector which was short
They are liars. Their website says they ship out next day but they dont. Worst customer service I've ever seen. I hope they go under. No one should ever order from them. I'd rather shoot myself than go back to them.
I've been a gold club member for years. The was a time JP shipped anything within 3 or 4 days. No longer. Almost anything is Pending Vendor Arrival. I've been waiting for 22 days on a clutch cable. A clutch cable! It should be right on the shelf. As for customer service. It's getting much worse. Always a 10 to 20 minute wait before someone answers. Then you will get a different answer every time you call. I cancelled an item a couple days after ordering. Now it has been 14 days and no money is coming my way yet. Called CS 5 times. Each time they say 1 to 3 days it's in processing. From now on ask for a supervisor if you have a problem. They don't read from a script, call you back and actually take care of your problem. I will still order from them because of low prices and a vast array for goods, but they are getting slower with delivery and dumber at CS..
While this company claims to have the best return policy in the industry, but it isn't true. I called to see which saddle bag brackets I needed for my Suzuki s40 Boulevard 2019 motorcycle, the person on the phone assured me it's the right part at $54, and to save the company time I ordered online. Big mistake. If you order online they can't track your information, who you spoke with, and refused to cover the cost of return shipping. Even the tech I spoke with trying to get my part on my bike, until he said, on man there's no way it will ever fit, so sorry, I'll notate it on your record... he didn't. Now I'm stuck with the cost of return shipping for something I was told would fit-and there's no way it will with the construction of the saddle bag support part and my motorcycle. Don't buy from these guys, seriously.

Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
The best way to start this post is with an apology. We are very sorry for any issues you may have encountered regarding shipping delays of your orders from our company. It is not acceptable and we have no excuses. We dropped the ball and it is affecting each of you in a negative way.
While an apology is just words, I want to ensure you there are actions being taken to make things right.
First, we have teams working around the clock in our Louisville facility to receive product into inventory that were ordered for the busy season. This includes everyone on our teams with people coming from Iowa to Texas. In changing the location of our warehouse from Anamosa, Iowa to Louisville, Kentucky, we underestimated the impact of these changes and how they would affect our ability to serve you. You might ask why we even started to make such a change - really it was in response to how we could ship products faster from a location that would improve delivery times. Yes, we see the current irony - we are now slower and shipping is taking longer. However, once this initial roll-out is corrected, all of our customers will be pleased with the ability to receive items ordered much faster.
Second, we recognize the importance and value of your time. With this said, we are currently exploring meaningful options that we can provide to our customers who were impacted by these delays.
We are receiving items and shipping items every day. It is slower than planned, but improvements are already being seen. Right now, we are targeting to be back to normal ship times by April 8th. While longer than we would like, we want to be realistic with you.
We are very sorry for this unfortunate slow down and negative experience with J&P Cycles. Our customers are paramount and we want you riding as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience. We will continue to provide regular updates so that you stay fully informed.
If you would like to check the status of your order, the most up to date information is available on our website. If you wish to call, you may reach us at 1-800-318-4823. Please be patient as we are experiencing heavy call volume.
Humbly,
Zach Parham
