Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.

I needed to put new tires on my GL1500 and you had what is currently on my bike and wanted a perfect match.
While the part itself was perfect and functioned well the web site indicated that the part would ship the next day. It was two weeks before I got the part.
Had I known the ship date was so far out I would have ordered from another company.

Ordered several items with no issue. Ordered 2 tires that had a $50.00 debate. Got tires with no invoice. Cant submit rebate paperwork without invoice. First person (chip) total $#*! $#*!ed I didn't have a correct email address. Funny I got email saying order was received two more calls and email. Never got an invoice.
This was my first order J&P; whereas, i spent roughly $1300 on 3 parts. 2 parts came in fine, but the other part (air intake Kit) was incorrect size for my bike. I sent this back and annotated everything on label, etc. When they received the part back into stock, I spoke with them about replacment and was guaranteed this part was in fact for my bike. But, the online rep accidentally cancelled the order. Now, I either wait 5-7 for refund or work with them on instore credit to speed things up, which I did. Even after speaking with tech, they sent me the incorrect part again. Likely the last business I'm doing with this company once this is resolved.

Got my parts in really fast and everything was right and not damaged
Ordered over $300 worth of parts. They charged us TWICE! Once when we ordered, and AGAIN when it shipped (it took over a week to even ship.) After being placed on hold for 20 minutes, finally reached someone to say that I would have to call my bank. I've never had any problems with being charged twice other than through this J&P Cycles. Still have yet to receive our items, and have the other charge credited back (which probably will not happen.) Had to call my bank and tell them to NOT let J&P Cycles withdraw any more money!. BE CAREFUL.
I have been J&P Cycles customer nearly 15 years with purchase of items for my club and myself over 30kUSD. Now it seems they don't want my orders anymore... I wanted urgently tires for my Steet Glide, placed order and found out that it was cancelled! When asking this from chat I was told it is possible scam and need to place new order via paypal. Doing that just to found out again from their website (no mails nothing to me) that order has been cancelled again. When asking from their super $%# friendly chat, I was told that I have cancelled the order...? Never sent anything there. When sending mail to their customer service (with attachments and explanation) got one line back saying I have cancelled order... I ordered tires from ebay and no more J&P anymore!

This is one on the worse companies we have ever dealt with, my husband ordered tires thinking it was out of Canada and find out it is only in US, that is false advertising and had to pay duty on the tires and then they take them to the wrong house, never ever will buy from these a**holes again.
Got the curved license plate holder for my Street Glide. It was delivered quickly on top of an RPM discount. It was the finishing touch for my bike that really adds a little detail.
J&P is always one of my first goto's when I need parts and need them without the MOCO hooey.

A week after purchasing a helmet the head of the screw that holds the visor on broke. This is a plastic screw and was a manufacturer defect and after speaking to 2 J&P people then a manager that would not speak with me they would not exchange it telling me to contact the manufacturer who instructed me I can kindly return it to where I purchased it from. UGH! It should not be this hard.

I was purchasing brakes for my husband's Harley. I chatted with a guy because the brakes I was looking at said, "front/rear" brakes. I asked the guy how to order just the back brakes and he stated, no, it is the whole set of brakes for the bike. I said that is for the whole bikes brakes, he said yes! I had my husband to come into my office and I showed him the chat. He said you better ask him again, ask him if these brakes are included for the whole bike, the front and back brakes, again, he said yes, its a whole set! So, I ordered them. Brakes came, only one set. Contacted a Supervisor who could NOT find the CHAT! Since he could not find the "chat" he stands behind his workers and so the only option he gave me was he would sell the other set of them to me at cost and he would ship them overnight. I don't feel we should have had to pay for them since his worker TOLD us repeatedly it was the whole set for the front and back. Will not buy another thing from them ever!

I ordered a cam cover for my 2000 Softail Standard. The part I ordered is shown to fit my bike. When I got it, it was printed clearly on the box, that it was for a 2001-2012. JP Cycle said it was a mistake by their web people. They should have corrected it years ago. Shop somewhere else. These clowns are incompetent

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
