Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
I love the product. This is about the 5th time i have got products from J&P cycles.
Because they are good at what they do.
I needed them.

Ordered online a set of H-D tires. After placing the order, discovered almost immediately that the Load Range was too low for this H-D even though the site showed them to be the correct fitment. Minutes later I called Customer Service, nobody there. I then called Sales to have them change the order that was less than 30 minutes old, was advised that the order was already in "customer service" and that I would have to call back the following day. I contacted Customer Service at their opening hour on Sunday and made an attempt to change the order. That request was far too complex for the agent so I asked her to cancel my original order, she said she did and was e mailing the "warehouse". I asked her for an e mail conformation, she refused. I followed with an e mail to CS that explained everything and noted I would re order once the original was cancelled. Received a reply from "Joni" who verified that the order was cancelled by return e mail and that it may take several days to receive a credit. Two hours later I received a shipping conformation that the original order had been partially shipped, only one of the two tires.
Should the tire (s) show up from UPS, I will refuse the order and send the entire mess to my credit card carrier, J and P's e mails included.
While I have no doubt that the company means well, there remains n excuse for the amateur level f customer service.
DO NOT BUY FROM J and P Cycles
It use to be fast and clear. This time the items take a long time to arrive, i doesn't had information about what was happening.
I always buy our motorcycle things at JP cycles
It was beyond what I expected. The fit was perfect, high quality.
I Like my Helmet!
J&P Cycles is always my first choice, when I'm looking parts for my Harley!
I like the feature, that, shows whether or not it will fit my Harley's year and model.
I have my bike saved in their site and it's always easy to find parts that fit my bike.
I ordered the wrong part and your customer service person made the return easy and made sure I ordered correctly for the replacement.
According to my wife, I have spent too much money on the J&P Cycles site. They have all you could want for your Harley, and at great prices! Then they go over the top and ship it quickly. Product is in my hand within 2 days. I'll be loyal to J&P until I'm too old to ride.
I wanted a top notch air cleaner and Arlen Ness is about the best.
Ordered a couple of relays for my shovelhead... The picture on the online J&P web site showed a 4 prong, 30 amp Rivco relay clearly marked "USA" on the side of the part... What i received was a couple of 5 pin relays in little ziplock bags with a sticker label on the bags marked "made in USA" but the relays were marked "made in china"... Did the chat thing online and was told that the picture does not match to actual part because the vendor sends J&P the picture with the parts... Had to return the parts... Waiting for my 42 bucks back... Been a customer for 15 years... Ever since Junior took over and sold out the company, J&P has sucked badly for many reasons... Poor customer service by what seems to be people who don't even know what a motorcycle is let alone a shovelhead... No more J&P for me... I would rather pay more and deal with a real biker... Too bad, J&P used to be mostly OK... Bought a lot of stuff from them... Now they don't care about the customer satisfaction part of business... Sad, but true
Tip for consumers:
If you ride a hog, find a real bike shop run by real bikers with biker employees and if you don't already fix your own bike, learn to fix at least the basic stuff
Products used:
Ordered Bosch 30 amp, 4 prong relays on Amazon for 8 bucks each
Changed the site format lost information
Had to wait on hold to have my RPM statice
Reinstated waiting for five weeks for an item
That was not on back order but apparently was. Too many mistakes
I ordered a le pera seat for my bike said it was for my bike WRONG, I called bc it wasn't my fault regardless im getting stuck with the shipping fees twice what a $#*!ing joke, im done with these guys what a complete rip off DONT USE THEM TRUST ME ill never order anything from them

You have a good reputation
Online Superstore for motorcycle parts for Harley, GoldWing, V-Twin, & Metric bikes.
John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
John, please allow us to review your order and work through the issue as well as incorrect fitment listed. We will reach out to you privately to work through this further.
