Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Site said part was for my bike but it was not. I suggest The company do a better job identifying parts.

I only have limited options on where to get parts for a 1975 Sportster, this company offers parts for it, they ship much quicker than most other companies. It sucks ordering something and having to wait 5 to 7 days to get the item, ordering from here I got my parts in like 2 days.
This was the only place that had the oil tank in stock, I've been waiting for it to go back in stock at all companies for a few months, when it finally did, JP Cycles was the first place I noticed that had it.
Starter clutch gear fit perfect on my 1999 softail custom. Item arrived very quick. I will be making more purchases from them in the future.

The cable I ordered was for a 1986 Yamaha XV700. It is the exact length I needed and came with an adapter to fit inside the rail of my hand grip. The chrome looks great and the fittings can easily be made to fit within my hand grip.
Had the right length cable and was selling the parts for S&S Carbs.

I have been using JP for years and always satisfied. Just one instance I was wondering about though. I ordered a few parts for my 07 FLHTCUI before Sturgis in 2023. Both came out of Kentucky and shipped in 2 different boxes. My clutch arrived 3 days late and had to go to dealer so I could get on the road on time.It could have been the postal service but you think they could have shipped in the same box. The good side is now I have a spare.

When looking up parts specific to a make and model of vehicle the website often forgets the info that was just entered and shows all parts. Shipping is too expensive as well compared to other sites.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
