Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
This was the 5th Kuryakyn mustache bar I have ordered from J&P Cycles. J&P Cycles has been an Excellent place to order my Harley-Davidson parts for several years. There are just not enough nice things for me to say about them.

The only let down was when I reviewed the installation Diagrams the words "Turn signal adapter (purchased separately)"...uggg So I had to spend a few more bucks to have the adapters sent. I also had to add four inch extensions to the signal blinker wires so that they could reach up into the headlight bell. I would've paid the little extra money for the kit if the signal adapters were part of the overall package along with six 4" wire extensions with male and female bullet connectors. I realize that not all use original OEM blinkers in their upgrades but some form of 'With/without' check box on the package could avoid future customers from an unnecessary hassle.
I was facing a deadline for the first show which is this Saturday and confused has to how long it would take to get those signal adapters. Also I had no clear indication from your product display that the necessary set screws were included with the adapters or were they missing from the original package. I contacted you to clear this up. I received an answer the following day and the adapters showed up the next day.
I was looking at several light bars, and the reviews did not impress me. Since my scooter gets registered at auto shows...SHOW CHROME is a must. J&P came to me by word of mouth from fellow riders.

I ordered and received Custom Dynamics Bagz Lights for my 21 CVO Road Glide. When I tested them, the running lights and the turn signals worked but not the brake lights. I called CD to see if I had done something wrong. They said the lights I got would not fit my bike, even though the J&P website said they would. I called J&P and explained to John what Custom Dynamics had told me. John was extremely courteous, very professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that I got the correct part and that I was happy with the order. Because of John's help, I will definitely be ordering from J&P Cycles again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality parts and excellent customer service.

Love your website! Very easy to navigate! When I received my tire you sent me a white wall. I originally ordered a regular black tire. So I am going to try the white wall and see how it looks on my bike. If I like it I will most likely order the rear tire at a later date. If I do not like it I will be sending it back.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
