Installed the tall sissy bar on wife's XL. Fit & finish is great. Seems like it will remain very solid & durable. Like some other reviews stated the hardware could be upgraded. We didn't have issues w/the heads stripping, I believe, because of reading reviews prior.
JP had extensive inventory for picking out my air cleaner intake. However I evidently over looked the additional mount kit required for the installation, which doubled the price. The intake filter material was foam not my first choice very disappointing all around experience including the JP reps both of whom sounded as though they didn't want to be there disgruntled.
Because of the way I was treated, with kindness, great product knowledge and a genuine desire to provide a solution, I will not online shop anywhere else for my motorcycle parts and accessories needs…PERIOD. They are that good!

Bought these because of the brand and other reviews. However I am not impressed with the stopping performance whatsoever. Next season will get an all new set up.
I've been a J&P customer for a while and I've always been happy with my purchases and interactions with J&P staff. The only critique I have to offer is the web site can be a bit clunky when searching for a specific part. It could be my browser, I use firefox with a lot of security garbage, to protect me from other garbage, but it really seams more like it's design related where I know you have the part but need to try multiple queries to hit the right key word for what I'm looking for.

I was looking for a luggage rack for my '06 fatboy. Hard enough to find, and you guys had most things listed when I searched "luggage racks" but it didn't have what I ordered on the original search. I found it through google! So maybe an issue with the keyword search engine

Purchased the wrong side saddle bag support. Based on the pictures initially provided on what a left and right was the picture mislead me to believe to purchase the other side for fitment. When received realized it was wrong side then what picture led to believe. Checked back on web site to purchase the correct side support and that particular support is out of stock now.

I was in a pinch as I needed a chain before racing Vegas To Reno. J&P was my choice since they have a Phoenix location and I'm in Yuma. Got it in a few days, slapped it on and got some testing done 5 days before the race.
I ordered seat fir my harley from 2 other places before placing order with u now mind u I ordered same exact seat from all 3 however j&p cycles was only place that actually sent the seat I ordered

My order included a mustang two piece set. I accidentally ordered the pillion pad made for a backrest. Called them up and they were more than helpful on getting the correct one ordered and a ram on the incorrect one.

Battery came with no acid. Didn't know I needed till battery arrived. Went to six auto parts store before finding acid. Wish I knew while ordering. Lost about two weeks time.

Wish I'd been able to see their motorcycle museum in Iowa, before it closed. J&P is a established parts vendor. The shipping on individual low cost parts can be kinda high. Always best to put in a larger order for a shipping discount. Then again. That can apply to a lot of vendors. Keep the Free Spirt Riding Alive, ya'll. Thor out.

Ordering was good. It said item was a match for my bike but isn't working. Didn't have time to take on a ride only ideal the bike for now. Will try when I get back.

Im coming to us this weekend
When I received the package the box was crushed. I kept the front wheel axle covers, but returned the hand grips because they didn't fit tight enough, sloppy fitting. Not to mention that it cost me over $9.oo to return, which I still don't have my refund.
I had a good experience before when ordering parts. Not so much this time.

I bought the same helmet in a smaller size based on the sizing chart(did not fit right) so I bought the XXL wanting to use my Harley Davidson intercom system but the helmet does not have deep enough pockets for the ear pieces. Other than that I like the helmet.

There are cheaper versions of the same part but the reviews were not very good. I decided to go with the name brand but paid about $60 more for the part.

The product quality is great. However, written directions were not very specific, I suggest providing diagrams or photos to help with written directions. You need somewhat of mechanical knowledge. And it would handy to notes extension of the rear brake wiring would be good.

Product was as described. Instructions for repair should be evaluated by J&P team. If the detailed instructions are followed to spec then the bore after ream wouldn't be a press fit for bushings as OD of bushings is equal to ream size. Also, reaming the bushings after installation would appear to create an air gap in the throttle plate shaft which was the original issue.

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
