I really enjoyed the service. Very convenient. The Yamanote Line in Tokyo was great and the trains I took were just perfect. I loved travelling in Japan by train.
Purchased the green pass. It was easy to navigate the stations once you get hang of it and how to receive seats in person at each station customer service desk. The station attendants and customer service centers at the stations are very helpful. The bullet trains are very comfortable, seats are nice and wide and spacious, clean and have wifi. Love the bullet trains. Couldn't fully navigate the website and app for train schedules and reservations. Seemed complicated so we reserved seats in person for the next journey at the customer service centers. May want to improve the website and app in English. Overall a great deal and would definitely use JR Green Pass again.

Bought the 7 day JR Pass and travelled to Japan late Aug/2023. Strategically stayed near Nagoya Station and made the area very accessible. I visited Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, Ise-Shima National Park, and Suzuka. The pass was very useful for far distances. Did not work for local short distances. I had to use different train lines and taxi's. Which cost extra $$.

The website is NOT an official representative for Japan Rail Pass! It's a Spanish middle man company that POSES as being official. Use utmost caution. We ordered 2 passes for over 700€. Instead of mailing the exchange order within a day as advertised we were asked to submit an authorisation code for the payment to prevent the order from being cancelled. My bank (a big European international bank) was not even able to provide such a code. This put us at risk of not getting our tickets in time. After I withdrew from the contract per Email I got my money back at least and ordered from the official site instead.

This is a SCAM company. They are very tricky because their name is identical to the real Japan Rail Pass managed by Japan Railways Group (japanrailpass.net)
JRAILPASS.COM is predatory and is NOT an authorized seller for JR passes. Also, if you look at their business address, they are located in Spain. They have a refund policy of giving you only 85% of the total ticket cost (which they also upcharge by $50). I think the positive reviews they are receiving are people who are associating them with the real Japan Rail Pass.
Please be careful and whatever you do, DO NOT buy from them. There are only 6 authorized agents that sell JR passes outside of Japan and jrailpass.com is not one of them.

I think it was a great deal to buy the JR pass. All the documents were sent to my country very fast. I traveled with my family, and traveling costs around Japan were lower with that pass. We used it between cities and into the cities. I would buy it again

The process to order JR rail passes was fairly easy and the certificates arrived quickly. Once we got to the airport, the line wasn't too bad and the process for redeeming the certificates for our passes was efficient.

I had to cancel my pass due to the coronavirus outbreak and jrailpass processed the refund quickly and drama-free. Couldn't be more happy with the experience. Can't wait til I can finally take my trip
Unfortunately due toCV19 we were unable to travel to Japan but the refund process was easy and we will hopefully obtain another pass when we can travel again.
