I pay my car payment weekly you cannot set auto pay up for doing so which would be very convenient.it does give a week to week breakdown of payment of intrest and principal and only takes 2 days for draw from bank.
I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with Kia Finance, a company that, in my opinion, provides the worst customer service imaginable. The employees are uncooperative and refuse to engage in meaningful communication. They pick and choose which questions to answer, often ignoring the most critical ones. Additionally, I encountered multiple instances where they attempted to provide false or misleading information, which made me feel deceived. Even during the contract signing process, they were already engaging in dishonest practices, misleading creditors and hiding important details. It's shocking how little they care about transparency or treating their customers fairly. Instead of offering help or clarity, they seem more interested in manipulating the situation to their advantage. I would not recommend Kia Finance to anyone seeking an honest and reliable financial partner.

I called to ask for a payment arrangement due to a Hurricane not one but 2 back to back.Told them we haven't worked and we are without power, water, food and damaged home they asked for my zip code said I was lieing about being in a Hurricane which did hit Florida refused to help me.I told them we had a State of Emergency in place and they still refused to help us.I wouldn't even give them a star but had to so I could post. This is ridiculous they don't care and was very rude and laughed at us.
Brought a new 2024 Kia. Found out after downloading contract that they added power $3000 in service contracts that I did not want. Northlake Kia says that they sent Kia financial the money It is over 6 weeks and it still isn't off my principal loan amount

I need to get a copy title to register my car in a new state that I just moved to and get a state inspection since my current inspection is expiring. Kia has advised me that it will take 6-8 weeks and that basically it is too bad so sad that I will be driving illegally until they are good and ready to help me. I spoke to a supervisor who said the same and it is being sent up the chain to see if they will honor me with an expedited title request so I can drive legally. Hope this is worth losing a customer since this is the second and last vehicle, I will ever finance through them. Funny I need to check re: certification of review because I can be doing something illegal. You just can't make this stuff up.
DO NOT EVER USE KIA FINANCE! Horrendous Finance System! We paid our lease off in full and had to submit the odometer statement 4 seperate times! It was literally to the point that they were keeping our car title hostage. One of them was a physical paper copy mailed with a cashiers check that somehow dissapeared but they seemed to receieve the check the exact same envelope just fine. 15 days is the amount of time it should have taken to receive our title. By the time it was all said and done it was over two months. After multiple hour long phone calls with multiple different professionals who all gave us different information on when we would receive the title and where to send the odometer statement. Beyond terrible finance system that screams we will do everything to ensure we get every penny from you. DO NOT EVER USE KIA FINANCE!
Arman (Kia Motors Finance)
This finance company is not open on weekends and does not make it an easy job to get your payoff amount when you traded your vehicle in. I had to call numerous times and even ask for a supervisor because the Rep would not give me what I needed. The rep then put me on a long hold.
I called Kia Finance about a issue with my payments going through Auto Pay Plus, and the Customer Rep hung up on me, because I was trying to explain how our payments will be payed through Auto Pay Plus. If dealerships are going to offer services like Autopay Plus they need to make sure their Finance understands what the heck is going on...
This sham of a company took 2 payments out of my account for March without my consent. I simply requested a due date change. They took the payment out of the original due date, then they took it again on the new due date, just 1 week later. Then was told it takes 16 days to a paper check refund. What? This company is a bunch of thieves. I will never deal with them again nor buy another Kia!
Unable to set up auto pay due to their company "not being able to find account." I have discussed with my bank who advised me to file a complaint with my bank so they can try to to figure out what Kia is doing wrong. Kia charged me a late fee AND a fee to use debit card to make my payment. This is our 5th (and last) Kia car and they have not had any problems previously pulling money out. My last conversation with customer service said they had to "escalate" my problem and the managers would call me back in the next day... one week... no word.
DISHONEST DEALERS! Be careful if you return a lease to this dealership. I took my car in to have it looked out early so I could make any necessary repairs on my own. The gentleman helping me looked at the tires, we took pictures of measurements, and agreed the tires were within the contract specifications. Four months after I turned in the vehicle I received a bill for $200 to replace a single tire. After sending pictures proving the tire was within standards Kia still says I owe them for the tire. Why would I ask someone to look at the tires and take pictures of the thread gauge and turn the vehicle in early if the tires were not all good? I would have replaced the tire for much less than $200 before turning it in. When I call the dealership, Michael Lang was extremely friendly and sounded sympathetic. He took a message and no one ever called me back. Boo! Bad service! Dishonest. Avoid!
Kia Finance only allows you to pay online(free) or by automated system(3.95) both use your bank routing and no debit card. You then risk an unexpected payment or forgetting because it takes several days to come out. So then what happens? You're only allowed to pay with a live customer service call where you can use a debit card and come out automatically(7.95 fee for 3 months) they rip you off big time. I suggest mailing them a money order and then NEVER using them to finance your vehicle again!
This institution never mailed contract, account number and contact info. Used wrong address knowingly and ruined my credit. Refusing to answer certified mail, emails or phone calls. We are still in legal battle with them.
Absolutely not a recommendable institution!
KIA has not paid off my trade in for over 6 weeks. Finance person named Ron Iqbal does not return phone calls. Left 6 messages with sales staff. Cannot leave him a message as his voice mail is always full. Once the sale is done, Northstar KIA is obviously done with you. Go elsewhere. I will NEVER be a KIA customer again because of this post lease problem that could have been easily resolved with one call. Or simply a call to me saying he will check and call back.
Paid in full and settled in Oct 2020 yet somehow they keep reporting my account (0 balance - no late payments) to EQUIFAX and every time they do - my credit score goes down by 5 points. I've called three times - each time transferred at least 3 times and on hold for 25 min. Something wrong with this picture?!?!?!?!? Are these guys not regulated at all?!?!?!

Paid off auto lease in late July. It's now mid September and they are still holding the refund. Despite numerous phone calls and promises, it's still "pending" - with no further explanation. I will never direct anyone to them!
The worst customer service. So glad I will be done with them this year. No Supervisors ever available. They out you on hold forever. Their cars are just like their customer service all a piece of crab. Buy be aware. Rating double zero.
Kia financial service is not even worth a 1 star but unfortunately thats the lowest rating possible. They are incompetent and can not solve an issue. Each time You call about the same problem you get a different response even though call notes should show exactly what took place on last call. Always wrong information given by agents and supervisors causing even more delay. The supervisors are rude and useless. They have no authority. I would not recommend this company and I will never use them again.
Documents showing car paid off new title notarized docs and all. The came and tried to repossess the car. 3 months after finalized debt. How lame. I'm filing suit with others. Bad records maybe, or cheats I'm not sure, but never again will I finance from them. Cars are good. Finance not good at all they rank 131 on ratings, I wish I would have known.
I have owned 2 Kia's in the last 4 years have paid them both off. My latest was paid off in less than 1 year. Can't get my title released to the FL DMV or a lien release letter to me. As long as you don't pay off your loan, you're fine, otherwise, no one can help, no one gets anything done, and you have no recourse but to have your title held hostage by Kia Finance. Disgusting. No management handling will help you, and you will waste hours of your time, without resolution because they are working from home, and can't do anything any better. This is what I was told by one of their managers. Not acceptable.
A random charge appeared on my account 6 months ago and the people at Kia Finance are telling me my only option is to the balance or my late charges will keep increasing. After speaking with 10 representatives and reviewing all my monthly payments together to make sure I didn't miss any, sending my account to payment processing for review, no one knows where it came from. When I asked who else can I talk to, my only response is "us" and to pay the amount to avoid further charges. I am baffled at their actions and response. I will never buy another car from them again.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Dealing with the DMV was much more pleasant if that says something. Incompetent and rude employees plus horrible processes/systems. You would think with all the negative reviews that they would change their protocol.
Sincerely makes me question whether I would ever purchase a Kia again because I don't want to deal with these people.
Bought a Kia Forte. I liked it. Paid it off in five years. Payments either early or on time. Never late. Made my last payment in the beginning of January 2021. Six months later am still begging for my lien release so I can sell my car. Made 8 calls. Each time I am told it was just sent out and I should have it in 7-10 days. That's been for three months. I would give them no stars but that's not an option.
Kia Finance is not competent to speak to customers. I paid every month on time on line even paid my lease ahead of time. Just looked at my credit report and see a ding from Kia Finance for being. 01 cent short on a payment that I honestly figured was a tech error because there was never a late charge nor notice. Basically I am told by the supervisor that their process isn't based off "common sense" it's based off the contract, well sounds like it's not based off customer service either and they will never see my money again! I love their cars but will never use their finance ever! Who says I'm going to pay. 01 cent less this month just for the hell of it?! They are a joke and will mess up your credit! Update your technology, most online payment systems place a warning if a minimum payment is not being selected.

I bought a new Kia right before the pandemic hit. I went in for a used Kia or at the most a new one without a bunch of bells and whistles, and felt like I was pressured into getting a new car and the guy ended up selling me a brand new GT-Line Kia Soul. I was making $12 an hour at the time working full-time. How I even got approved for a loan for a $20,000+ loan is beyond me, but being dumb and overly excited I accepted because I knew I'd be getting a raise within the next few weeks. I then lost my job instead, due to the pandemic. I reached out multiple times via messages to Kia about my situation and asked for payment deferral and no one ever got back to me. I had made about 4-5 payments in full and on time from the beginning of the loan. After I was 2 days late on my payment they called me incessantly, 3 even 4 times a day. When I'd speak to them they almost demanded payment. They'd pressure me into asking my friends and family for money to make my payment. Guess what? It's a pandemic and everyone is kind of messed up financially right now. I ended up having to file bankruptcy so thankfully the harassing calls have stopped. I'm surrendering the vehicle and I am so happy to be rid of KMF. I'm grateful they haven't repossessed my vehicle yet because I need it right now, but I am ready to give it back at the same time. They need to stop approving people that can barely afford their payments, it's ridiculous.
