Kia Finance has been a nightmare. "customer service" hangs up after you've waited hours on hold, days in a row. When they finally answer and don't initially hang-up, they transfer your calls to 5 different departments then hang up again, but not before you answer the same questions you answered with the last 4 representatives and not before you give a run down of what you're calling about just like you did with the last 4 reps, only to be told they can't answer the question you didn'task.
They DO NOT listen to your needs, even after you repeat them 5 different ways. They refuse to actually hear what you're saying.
Their site won't allow me to make payments on my 2 Kias after I've been leasing & making payments online for 8-yrs. Instead of attempting to correct the issue they charge me $7 × 2 to make phone payments. Now I have to do it again this month bc their online payment feature is not working for me still. There is no person you can talk to that doesn't have a super thick accent that is very difficult to understand when the connection is always fuzzy due to what I assume is because they transferr their calls to another country. Fuzzy connection or thick accent, pick one, not both because both make accomplishing anything nearly impossible.
At one point they falsley claimed I didn't make my final payments on my first leased Kia's but the cars were traded in one month early so no there were no payments due on those cars. The false claim prevented me from buying a house that year, literally. No preapproval until the mark was removed from my credit. It took me a year to get it off credit with VERY little help from Kia Finance. A year of fighting. All that time and energy towards something that never was. No apology no compensation. Nothing but headaches.
Another time they charged me a dollar more per payment than agreed upon with the dealership but they did it at a time that was last minute and I couldn't do anything about it unless I wanted to be without a leased car until it got solved.
The last two payments I made over the phone I had extra fees listed...I had to pay $24 extra, per car, but no one could tell why but they could tell me that if I didn't make payment in full, mystery fees included, my accounts would be considered past due & reported.

Kia Motors Finance has a rating of 1.1 stars from 299 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Kia Motors Finance most frequently mention customer service, auto pay, and business days problems. Kia Motors Finance ranks 65th among Loans sites.
I pay my car payment weekly you cannot set auto pay up for doing so which would be very convenient.it does give a week to week breakdown of payment of intrest and principal and only takes 2 days for draw from bank.
I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience with Kia Finance, a company that, in my opinion, provides the worst customer service imaginable. The employees are uncooperative and refuse to engage in meaningful communication. They pick and choose which questions to answer, often ignoring the most critical ones. Additionally, I encountered multiple instances where they attempted to provide false or misleading information, which made me feel deceived. Even during the contract signing process, they were already engaging in dishonest practices, misleading creditors and hiding important details. It's shocking how little they care about transparency or treating their customers fairly. Instead of offering help or clarity, they seem more interested in manipulating the situation to their advantage. I would not recommend Kia Finance to anyone seeking an honest and reliable financial partner.
Zero communication, refused to pick up the car after a voluntary termination, they left it sat in my driveway for 8 months, then i discovered they'd kept charging me and put a mark on my credit report for being in arrears! They now refuse to talk to me at all and say i have to go through the ombudsman, I will never buy a Kia or Hyundai EVER again and will never deal with their finance company which appears to be Santander.
In my opinion you will be safer using a local loan shark.

They talked me into Leasing a car. Don't do it.! They will charge you for every little ding and extra miles and if you do not buy or lease another car from them you will also pay! Never again will I deal with this outfit.
Upon lease return they want almost 3500. Dollars. Don't fall into this money pit!

Terrible Fiance company. If you have a issue they have no interest in solving the problem. The frustration is so bad im hiring a lawyer. I suffer PTSD from being abused as a child and dealing with them been worse. In no way will I lease another vehicle from them. I'm currently looking into breaking my current lease these people are so bad. Unless you buy the car outright DO Not Use KIA Fiance.

Leased a Kia, then near the end (3 months to go) I paid the remaining months lease payments and purchased the vehicle. I had auto pay and after I had paid the vehicle lease off and purchased it, Kia Finance took an extra lease payment and has yet to reimburse me for the over payment. I have sent 3 emails, have written 3 letters, and made 4 phone calls. No results from the emails, no response from my letters, and the phone calls on each occasion I was told that I would receive a check in the mail for the over payment. I have received absolutely NOTHING! This has been, thus far, 4 months in the making. Totally unsatisfactory.
This post is strictly with Kia Finance. I've never had a problem with my local Kia dealer.

If I could give them zero stars, I would customer service will hang up on you when you asked to speak to a supervisor. Supervisors have a worse attitude and customer service reps.
They miss appropriate payments that you requested to be made towards Principal and then have no excuse why your balance doesnt reflect it. Also additional hidden fees that they can explain.

They took our payment out twice, which then made our mortgage check bounce. They told us they would reimburse us for the late fee. A few months later were 10 days late on our payment and they called after we made our payment saying we owed them $6.00. Funny we never received the $50.00 late fee for our bounced check to our mortgage company but you made me pay you $6.00. My car can't be paid off quick enough. What a joke.

I've been with them for a few years… but I recently changed accounts to keep my payments up…. I've been on the phone the last few weeks to make the payment this past month… every representative that I have spoke to could not speak clear English! This is the worst few weeks of my life…. Hope I don't this have to deal with every single month….

We return our car lease on time, meanwhile after a while they didn't send me any statement about the return, but suddenly they just send bill without any description for what. And they send it super late, and suddenly effect my credit score as late payment.
Meanwhile we finally send the check to them and they deduct right away from our bank but still they report that we have late payment on this month.
We call the customer service, someone name Chanda is also the horrible one. She actually laugh at us while explaining the things which is we still don't understand.
Our suggestion for you, don't lease or buy any car from this brand.
My account regarding this problem is under dispute right now and yet they still put the late payment report, if this won't settled I will seek a lawsuit.

After a miserable greeting by Jack at the start of the conversation with customer services, things got worse as he forced us to find the info we needed urgently on the website. I couldn't afford to lose him again and struggle to get through due to the urgency of the situation so I asked him to stay on the line in case we ran into problems with the website. This did not make him happy as he just wanted to end the call. We ran into so many problems trying to get the info we needed online and he was making it clear all the time that it was taking up his valuable time. In the end he decided to insult us down the phone and hung up on us! It's not often you come across retrograde customer service these days but its there at Kia Finance and its name is Jack. His remarks left 1 dealer, 1 very tech-savvy bod and one frustrated, very stressed customer, absolutely stunned.

I had to register my car in a different state due to a family move. I had to request the transfer and submit my information 4 different times via fax AND secure email before someone would take me seriously. Even then, I could barely get a response from customer service. Everyone I spoke to was woefully underinformed. They made me jump through hoops the whole time I was going through the process and gave me tiny pieces of information at a time, never the whole story. I followed their instructions to a tee and still, nobody followed up with me to confirm that my information was received and was beginning to be processed. I had to contact customer service over and over again during this 3-month process to ensure they were doing their due diligence and moving my paperwork along. Thank goodness I did, too, because they simply "forgot" to notify me a few times that they needed more information from me.
Find a local bank or credit union, don't give this miserable organization your business.

I have a lease and after 5 payments it was increased with no explanation, I tried to contact kia finance and very time I got somebody just telling me to go to the web page and never let me to explain what my problem was. I've been a client for almost twenty years and this is the way company treat their loyal costumers. Never again

This company SUCKS! They are a complete mess. The most important person that you can you speak to his a Supervisor. That should let you know right away that this company will only F*** your life more messed up than they have already made. I
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT buy from Kia if your going to end up with KIA FINANCIAL SERVICES then pick another car.

I spoke with Jasmine who was nice but extremely unhelpful! It seems they put in nice people but do NOT empower their associates making them useless! We paid off the car but forgot to turn off the automatic payments from the bank and send it $450 after it was paid off. Kia said it would take up to 30 days to return the money. They had NO way to call the department in charge of sending the check to expedite the process, only an email and could not even guarantee that would go through. I can promise you they would not accept me telling them I was going to wait 30 days to pay them! When I asked for a supervisor, Jasmine told me they would not be able to do anything - I guess she didn't want me to talk to a supervisor. She then put me on hold for OVER 7 minutes until I finally had to hang up. USELESS! Certainly NOT the way to treat a customer.

This was my first experience leasing a car it was terrible. Once my lease was up I knew I was a little over my miles (few hundred miles) and their buyout option was almost $1,000 more than what I was originally told when I leased my optima. Kia Motor finance said well that's too bad and I have no intention of re-leasing with them so I HAD to take buyout option. To make matters worse my buy out option was $1800 higher than market value so I got completely screwed so not only do I have to get it re-financed through bank for used car loan I have to pay $2,300 out of pocket to pay for sales tax and what I got my car approved for at market value. They give you little information or feedback. They are a bunch of Crooks over at Kia Motor Fiance! Stay away or you will regret it. I am done buying new cars and will never lease again

Have paid every single bill I have been sent, but am continuously called by the finance company saying no bills have been paid. Spoke with customer service who said the account is paid off. Calls continue saying it is not. No idea where my money is going then because I have paid for the lease every month. Finance company is the rudest bunch I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Will never ever touch KIA again and cannot wait for my lease to expire to be done with them all.

Kia is the worst company I've ever dealt with I paid off my lease on 11/14/2022 and till now 01/12/2023 I never received the car title, I've been calling customer service almost everyday and each time the representative tells me different story about why my title is not sent yet.everytime I called I've been giving a confirmation number for my request which is sending the title for me and when I call again to check on my request with the confirmation number it's either not found or my request is under review but still nothing changed.
I can't drive the car because I don't have a registration or license plate under my name.
I have a very bad experience with kia I don't recommend to anyone. It's the worst company.

Kia Finance is horrible. Has ruined my credit score. They do not cooperate with their dealers nationwide. Avoid leasing any Kia from this company, they are corrupt and currently under investigation by department of commerce and fbi. Stay away from leasing from this company.

Kia Auto Finance is no help
I called them explaining that due to Covid-19 I have been out of work for two weeks with no timeframe on returning and could I postpone my next few monthly payments. They said sure, they would just be added on to the back end. Great. Then I asked how the interest charges would be handled. They said they would continue as is, accruing daily. REALLY? So if I postpone next months payment my interest will accrue for 60 days instead of 30. And postponing 2 months payments will add 90 days of accrued interest? So Kia Finance is MAKING MORE money on me in these trying times. My last 2 cars were Kia's. Never again.

My experience just with dealing with Kia Motors Finance has been horrible. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with before. On all of my paperwork from the dealership, my address was correct but not with them. Then it took 4 phone calls to get them to correct the address. Not to mention, when I called and asked for a supervisor, I was totally ignored and given the wrong information. I asked for a supervisor at least 6 times before anything was done. Then on top of all of that, I just called them and a representative picked up the phone and just sat there.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Worst Customer support. It feels like they don't want you to pay in order to charge you penalties. It makes no sense why they tell you auto pay is set up, even emailing you confirmation about the payment processing. Then when you check you account it never goes through. You have to manually pay even though you are using the same exact bank account. When you try to contact support they keep transferring you to different departments saying you are in the wrong department. Kia cars are great, just don't finance through Kia.

I will never do business with kia again. Their customer service is by far the worst to deal with. They lie to you and will not work with you despite claiming that they would. Trust me, I don't do a lot of reviews but for those considering doing business with kia, beware! They won't care for you as a valued customer.

If you can go anywhere else! Please do! They double charged my account one month for over $700 and when I called they told me they can only issue a refund through a check and it will take two weeks. A month later still haven't received the check. Also called at the end of the first two weeks and they hadn't process the check as yet so I asked them to post in to the next month's bill they guaranteed that this will happen. I received a notice that my bill was past due and I would be charged a late fee. I called and spent a hour on the phone and no one could tell me where my check was or what happened to the amount but they made sure to ask if I'll be paying today. This company has given me nothing but headaches since the beginning and it's not worth the struggle. If I could break this contract I would

Two weeks ago my dealer canceled the loan I had on my new vehicle and I signed a new loan agreement. All documentation was sent to Kia Motors Finance, but two weeks later my account hasn't been updated yet. Every time I called them, they sent me to Collections. They refused to transfer me to another department and keep saying I owe them money, which is false. Terrible customer service!

Paid off auto loan in early Dec, 2020. This is mid-march and we are still awaiting the refund of a sizeable overpayment, despite numerous phone calls and promises. Keep being told it is "pending" - with no further explanation. Love the car and the dealer, but the finance company customer service is TERRIBLE, and we will never buy another KIA because of this.
