Tried to buy a belt no one else has there inventory say 3 on hand another store says 5 on hand, i traveled far to both of these stores to find they both have 0 on hand i dont know who runs loss prevention but now i see why this company fails soo dearly. Plus kmart.com says they have it but yet cannot produce nor send the right belt. Kmart sucks!
I have ordered boots two times in the last year from kmart.com both times the orders were messed up getting the wrong size or not getting my product at all when you talk to a customer service representative they can't even speak fluent English this is the last time I will order anything from kmart.com they're a joke
Absolutely the worst of the worst if that's at all possible. kmart.com hiding behind sears. Com will offer nothing but fall-apart defective stuff. Returned items 3 times and will never shop there again. By the way... all their merchandise has a sears address. Awful.
I remember when they used to have reasonable prices. Now it's a wannabe Walmart with high prices. I have one near where I live and I hate even walking in there. The employees are rude, ignorant and make you stand in line a long time while they're B.S.ing with each other. One cashier sent me to another register to cash out only there was nobody there to wait on me. I waited a few minutes then walked out.
I recently ordered a TV off of Kmart.com. I was very pleased at how low the price was, until my order disappeared. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was a pricing error. Ok that's fine, mistakes happen. But when I asked for a refund they said they were going to hold onto my money for a whole week. I do not see how that is an acceptable business policy. Nor do i see how it is logical, reasonable or morally acceptable. They refused to do anything in the way of recompense. I will never shop at a Kmart, Sears or any affiliated business again in my life.
Kmart's product assortment leaves much to be desired, and yes I know they have national brands. Maybe its simply because the stores are run-down, dreary and the employees look tired, uninspired, they're not friendly and little to no service.
I feel embarrassed to shop in Kmart stores.
I used to like Kmart and I still do but since they have closed the ones that are closest to me I no longer have one to go to. I need something in town besides Walmart. They went down as soon as they hooked up with Sears. I could of told you this was a bad move.
The K-mart stores I've visited (3 in our neighborhood) looked like rejects of the original dollar stores (not the new ones). No rhyme or reason to their displays. People walking out with goods without paying ALL THE TIME because goods are store outside cash registers and clerks just don't care while security is virtually non existent. If there ever was a model for a non-store, this would be it. Would have done great in the old Soviet Union.
It's sad to see this store is falling under radar. This has a bunch of helpful home stuff. I like that you can even hold items here for awhile. I am also completely in love with some of the fashion and home decor.
I had to review this site because I did not see any reviews on it. http://www.kmart.com/ is hands down the best secret place to shop for holiday presents. You can save so much money buy just planning a few months in advance and seeing what they have on sale and then just shipping it to your house for free most of the time. I find they are usually cheaper than walmart and target.
Kmart has been through some very hard times and have been fighting to prove themselves worthy. Their merger with Sears is a good arrangement which allows many shared quality products to be displayed (Craftsman tools and Kenmore appliances). Most of their store is similar in size and layout to Target, Kmart's pricing is perhaps slightly more competitive. One nice advantage is that online shopping for Sears is also available at Kmart with the same incentives.
Poor to average quality products at a decent price. Good customer service. Not bad for kids clothes since they have an alright selection and are just going to be grown out of within a year anyhow. Not a bad place to get disposable items when it makes sense. Not always the best prices, but generally they are fair or better.
I'd rather go with Kmart than either Walmart or Target. I won't even write a review on Target... it's just plain anathema to me. Kmart has (had) almost as much stuff as Walmart yet there's something different in the air. I really enjoy their merchandise selection and their employees are a lot happier, it seems, than those at Walmart.
Browsing shops for a particular item, and I found some good choices at Kmart. While there, I saw quite a few more things that I realised were on my 'to get' list, at affordable prices The check-out staff were friendly. I like that the store is large - plenty of items on display without it feeling cramped or crowded. I will most likely look at Kmart first from now on, instead of doing the rounds of other stores to try finding what I need.
Unfortunately, the Kmart in my area shut down. However, until the end they had high quality goods for great prices. Bought a sand-which maker practically years ago and still works now. Most their clothes were a cheap fabric, but were fairly paired with cheap prices- most unlike many other stores (Target & Macy's clothes aged just as quickly, but were double and triple the price).
In my town, our KMart closed down several years back so the only way we have to shop there now is on-line. This doesn't bother me a bit because I can do it from my own home and I don't have to make decisions right away. KMart is another of my favorite stores to visit.
I have had good experiences in the Kmart where I live. The people are friendly & helpful with locating items. If there were 1 thing I would change, it would be the people loitering outside of the store. I do not like that.
The other thing that bothers me is that we seem to get antiquated items, that when I go on the official brand web site, the product does not even show up at all on the site or even in the section for parts.
Sometimes I wish there were more variety, but I'm not complaining. Overall, it's good.
Kmart has been in decline for years. Their stores are dirty and run-down, and they never have any good electronics. Everything seems generic and none of the employees seem happy or helpful. The isles are usually disorganized or missing large sections of merchandise. I rarely go to these stores anymore.
Unfortunately, kmart its one of the most dirty unorganized stores. Since you enter the store bad smell slap you on the face. I understand of saving energy, but no illumination make shopping unpleasant. Staff do not work with energy and they are not stimulated at all thats why service and help its 0
We still have one Kmart in our town that hasn't folded. Their prices are a little higher than Walmart and they don't seem to have the variety of choices... but they are SO MUCH more convenient. Walmart is great... I go there too... but it's such an event. We have several Walmart stores within 20-25 miles but they are always packed and it's always a project to get in and out.
Our Kmart still does a great business because of the above reason, I think.
I needed a hose. Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart... too much time spent finding a parking spot, navigating the store, getting through checkout, finding my car. Kmart. In. Out. Done.
Answer: They have many products that I need and usually they offer the best price
Kmart has a rating of 3 stars from 517 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Kmart most frequently mention good prices and many times. Kmart ranks 7th among Department Store sites.
