Good value, big selection. I think that pretty well sums up Kmart.com. In particular, I'd like to point out KMart's furniture. It's not fancy, but some of it's not bad and if you spend over $100 often items will ship for free.
Kmart in Indianapolis Washington street needs to be closed. There is never more than one line open yet tons of employees standing around. Then they advertise a sale item and when it doesn't ring up right they claim it's not the right item even when you pull the tag from the shelf to show them. Lazy lazy lazy. No wonder all their stores are being shut down.
Besides the prices being ridiculous compared to other store prices of exact merch... For Christmas we received and bought gift cards which come to find out you can not use to purchase game console cards or other cards to that effect. Which is just absolutely ridiculous. They will except returns with no receipt. Do exchange with what could be stolen items in the first place. Everywhere excepts credit cards where payments can be disputed. Why on earth can I not pay 20 in cash on a gift card and not be able to purchase and xbox game pass? I don't understand please explain
I have chosen some time ago not to shop at Kmart for any reason because they have become too political and yields to any left wing group that complains or threatens them with a boycott. They first stopped selling ammunition in opposition to the second amendment. Now they have decided to discriminate regarding Trump products. It is not relevant as to whether or not I support Trump and his family. What is relevant is that businesses should not yield to a vocal radical group of activists who are upset at the loss of an election. I will never cast my shadow at KMart again.

Purchased 6 "room darkening" shades, that turned out to not be "room darkening" at all. Called Kmart, and they arranged UPS pick-up. Packaged and returned them. They were delivered to a Kmart/Sears facility in Addison, Illinois on March 13. Have been waiting for a refund ever since. I've chatted with them 2 or 3 times, and keep being told that the refund will be deposited in 3 to 5 business days. Nothing yet. The last gentleman I talked to, insisted that they hadn't received the shades back yet, even after I shared the UPS tracking information to him. It's not a ton of money, but it's my money. Now it's just the principle of the matter. You can't find an email address or any contact information for anyone higher in the chain, than those people that you get to chat with. It's been a terrible experience, and I will never, never do business with them again. Just a bunch of crooks.
Saved my fannie lots of times, letting me pay a portion today and tomorrow for that gift I couldn't afford all at once but wanted for my son.
But truly an old name department store for the average guy and gal that buy local and don't want to be contributing to the super powers of Walmart. Better stuff and better deals worth taking the time to explore especially at Christmas they have coats, toys and appliance at incredible prices!
Stores are worn and old, there are very few associates on the floor and shelves are rarely stocked. It is a shame, they used to be the place to shop at, but management has sucked the life out of the stores. I am surprised that they can afford to even stay open.
I ordered a pair of boots for my son for Christmas, I got the confirmation email and they charged me for them, the next day I get an email saying they're not in stock and my order cancelled, but will take 5-7 days to get my money back... a company should never charge a customer for an order until the item is verified atleast, better yet until it ships. I wont be doing business with them again, because its gonna be way closer to christmas before my money comes and I'll have to hurry to find him something else.
They are shutting down our Kmart and I hate to see it go, every time I have been there everyone was so nice. Always willing to help to find anything, no matter what department. It will be a real loss for BrisRace fans will hate it too.
Ordered a pair of work boots from them, ten days later, still hasnt shipped, and they wont even investigate for 5 more days, so they are going to just $#*! around and say they dont know what happened to it. Never again.
Our Store is closing it doors, I am Sad to see it go. How ever it was in the wrong location--if it had changed locations, I would be in it all the time. Customer service on line and in the store is always good. Better prices with them then Walmart most of the time. I really have enjoyed shopping at Kmart.
The K-mart stores I've visited (3 in our neighborhood) looked like rejects of the original dollar stores (not the new ones). No rhyme or reason to their displays. People walking out with goods without paying ALL THE TIME because goods are store outside cash registers and clerks just don't care while security is virtually non existent. If there ever was a model for a non-store, this would be it. Would have done great in the old Soviet Union.
Guess its a good thing when you go somewhere and its full of people. Has to mean its a great place right? Not always, but in this case its very good for a store. Great service, good prices on most things, and even though its almost as crowded as walmart around me, I never spend even half the time leaving as I do elsewhere. Definitely prefer to shop here than any supercenter!
Kmart is what it is, can fun pretty much what you are looking for each time. However how a company this big can't do better for their customers with a flat shipping rate.
I paid alot for shipping, what bothers me is when my product got here ( fragile package) it was broken from shipping. The store took it back no problem, but am out the cost of shipping with its right since I didn't break it.
Point is they need a Flat Rate!
As I was doing some online shopping for Christmas, I check out the Kmart site. I thought they had some great discounted bargains. As I was filling my cart, I go to view it, and every single item that I had added showed up as unavailable! I was very disappointed. After taking all that time,, looking at the online bargains, they hadn't refreshed their page and let customers know that these items were unavailable until you check your cart! I don't know if it's changed, but this was my experience online. So this is why I gave them a 1 star. They need to keep their site refreshed and updated.
They have always been good competition for Walmart! Good prices and good products. I wish there was one closer to us. I have noticed they do not come up in web sales searches on Google Shopping. They need to expand into it.
From my childhood days compared to what it is today. Why did a discount store try to be a highend store? Signing name brands was a huge mistake! Kmart, Big K left their original format and took a nose dive
Would you just go out of business already? Every time I enter a Kmart it's always messy and unorthodox. When I go somewhere to shop I expect the items to be in It's correct spot and organized so I can find what I need easily. Not go on a egg hunt for every little thing I need.
I miss that Kmart was one of my top stores for getting bedroom furnishings and bedding. I miss the great food they would have in the restaurant. I miss the fact that this store always had people on the register and not having to wait in line. What do you guys miss about KMART?
I am totally impressed with Kmart's buy online and pickup in store service. This is something which was missing from many other stores. I recently made use of this and I should say the service was just amazing.
Kmart keeps me updated with all the sales, everyday I get an email about the different items that they're specializing in whether it is a buy one get one free or 40% off. Awesome job Kmart! I have a big family and need all the savings I can get
It's like they aren't even trying anymore, and there are those of us who don't want to circle to park at Walmart. It's hard to find anything there and impossible to find help. I've seen people abandon buggies and just leave due to one checkout being open. You gotta spend money to make money, come on people, get with it!
I bought two different cushions for my outdoor couch. They were both amazing and great quality. I wasn't sure which one I wanted though. As I was online I chatted with customer service from Kmart and they said returns at my local Sears store would not be a problem. (no Kmart's in Austin, TX any longer) When I tried to return one of them at my Sears, the store manager said he had no way of doing that at his store. Even when I explained the conversation chatting with customer service. I think this was an issue with a store manager who did NOT know his job or how to run his business. When I called Kmart, they said it should never be a problem to return at Sears. They did send UPS to my door for pickup. Thanks Kmart
Found that Kmart has really improved over the years. Had not been in the store for a very long time and I found that the customer service was of high quality. A very well organized online store. Pleasure to shop at their online store. Pleasantly surprised
I used to use Kmart exclusively until I ended up crippled and dependent on a walker and needing a ride on. They have some nice items at nice prices in their store bur they are not very accommodating of somebody handicapped. They would not keep their ride-ons charged up and then when I would try to take one to the areas I needed the ride- on would die and then somebody, usually a customer, would help me back to the front of the store and I would be upset and embarrassed. I quit using them because of this reason. I reckon they are a good store otherwise. This particular store may not be like the other stores just so you know. It's only a local matter.
I live too far from a Kmart to shop there in person often. I usually go once a year for the holidays. I always notice that while the store is jam packed with stuff, the website has only a few selections from each category.
I really dislike going to the Kmart store here, (very disorganized!) but when I do, I usually find a few great gifts that I would have otherwise missed because they weren't on the website.
Their prices are higher than Walmart but most of the products aren't much better. They do have slightly nicer clothing but it's not a cheep as I would expect from that type of store. Target is better for that. The electronics and cheaper than their competitors but they are also lower end electronics, even in the major brand names. Basically, if your in a pinch and they are the closest store they are okay, otherwise Walmart or Target are better.
