Lifelong customer but never had a reason to interact with their service team. Ultimately ended up having product sent to an old address. They assure me old address is removed and won't happen again, and won't credit or send a replacement. Months later the auto-replishment kicks off and again sent to old address! They won't do anything to I help, after assuring me address is no longer on my account. Any other company offers a credit, replacement but NO. Not this billion dollar company. "It's my responsibility to keep my address up to date", sorry but their site is lacking and no where was the address shown for confirmation for auto-replishmemt. Not worth it, & no longer shopping at a company who doesn't care about their customers.
I put the wrong security code for a credit card, and decided to use the other card. After I changed the card, the address was automatically reset to the default one, which is a wrong address. I contacted the customer support team and they were not helpful at all and rude.

Placed my order on May 27,2020. It STILL has not been shipped! I understand a delay of a week due to COVID, but 17 days later, the order has not shipped. If you call, a recording will tell you that the wait time to speak with someone is over an hour. The chat reps are extremely rude and will not give you a ship date. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged for the order on May 27th.
I ordered $396.41 worth of merchandise online from Lancome in late Mar2017. I have never gotten it. They say UPS put it on my porch but I never saw it. I didn't sign for it. I have spent so much time on the phone with them. They seem evasive and clueless. They said UPS will have to research. UPS did that and refused the credit. I called them back saying I have no product and I am a customer who has lost almost $400 by ordering from them. They told me UPS has to research again. They finally said they would put a credit on my credit card on 5/22/17 and it is not on there. CROOKS!
Placed an order to get the free 7 piece gift. Also spent another $30 to get an additional 3 piece gift. Order arrived and only 3 pieces free of one gift came. The rest was just pictures of what I was supposed to receive. Called them 10/17/16 when the order arrived and they said they would fix it and send the samples I chose. Today 10/26/16 I received the samples, only three things are what I chose. They said I called them 10/24/16, I said no I didn't call you that day I called the 17th. I told them out of the 10 free samples I picked out only 3 were what I ordered. I would not have spent that much money if I was not going to get what I picked out. They said they would send more samples but I know they will be nothing I picked out. I told them I would find makeup from another company in the future because I would not be ordering from them again. Lousy customer service!
I decided to order some gifts online this year for Christmas and I will NEVER do that again at Lancome.com bc of their terrible customer service and return policy. I placed the order on Black Friday and did not get the items until the week of Christmas. Unfortunately the concealer I bought my friend was the wrong shade, she did not open or use it yet and I was trying to exchange it for the right shade but they denied it saying the return window is now closed. It is just so ridiculous that it has not even been 2 weeks since RECEIVING my order and I cannot even exchange an unopened product. In addition I had to talk to three different reps for them to inform me that it cant be returned, super annoying, waste of time and money. Sorry Lancome but you have just lost a loyal customer and I will make sure all of my loved ones know about this to not buy things here.
I had a very very bad experience shopping at Lancôme website. I brought a bundle with great discount and they happen to lost my package, and had to reorder for a higher price (uh huh, they will NOT honor you the promotion price even if they lost your package). For my second order, I sign up with another email and get a 15% off welcoming offer, and use it with the purchase with gift promotion. Beware that Lancôme's promotion CANNOT be stacked. If you use a promotion code, you cannot get the gift with purchase even if you double and triple confirm with the online chat rep. The gifts that were promised at purchase will NOT come, so the specials are not even worth it. There is nowhere in the web site tell you that you can't add your promotion code with gifts. No notice given, It's just a false advertisement. Called the Customer service and they can't do anything to help this. Never shop at Lancôme ever again! Greedy company and very unhappy experience.
Horrible service. I will never order Lancome directly again. I placed an order and my credit card was charged immediately, but I never received a confirmation for my order. After a few days, I called in and they could not even find my order even though my card was clearly charged by Lancome for the amount of my order. Forget it. I don't even want the free gifts or my original product. It's enough for me to switch skin care lines evne though I have been loyal to Lancome for years.
Very easy navigation, love the package gift they offer and most of all love the skin care products they have. Just ordered a couple of products and they where here by the end of the week with fabulous packaging. I love renergie eye- really good product and it does help. Most of all is not greasy. Highly recommended!
The quality of the product is GREAT. There is no doubt on that but... whoever is behind the special offers must be very smart... they rarely work. The "unsubcribe" word means. Please keep sending me junk to my email. I have an account, I ordered something and it is very hard to enter the receipt number to get earned points... if it happens that you change the email address, phone number or any detail. Forget about getting those points. Even when you follow the instructions on the website and typing the right number. It'll say that you are doing it wrong. Come on! Not everybody has tons of money to spend here... those earning points are somwhow of help... But it is so hard to get them in a very stupid way.The product is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone... But the way they are managing this website and offers make me kind of want to stop by Walmart for some Great Value skin care products...(jk)
I would give a zero if I could! Order in May had a missing item. Order in June has a missing item ($100!) told they would ship it via shop runner - would arrive in two days. One week after, order of missing item hadn't been placed/shipped. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied request. Asked to cancel and get refund for item - it would take them 45 minutes, with a "narrow window" to cancel, so likely not able to... The customer service representative was rude and condescending.
I had enjoyed using Lancome foundations for 20yrs with wonderful results and compliments, however this year I had a problem matching my skin tone and when I did finally get a match I began breaking out. I tried different formulations: teint idole, skin feels good and the tent stick, all were new purchases and I had the same reaction, I also could not completely clean the color from my application brushes. My rash has cleared up since I stopped using lancome. A big disappointment and waste of money.
I bought 3 sunscreen and after I received them it shows the expiration date is this year 2021! Is already 2021!So I contact them though email and chat,I didnot get any response from them by email and one of their member said yes they will provide a free shipment when I return. However,they didnot send me anything ,I have wait for more that 48h and I decide send the item in UPS then I paid 17dollars shipping fee. When I talk with another member through chat,his name is Genesis,and he is so arrogant when he talk with me. He said "is not impossible ". This is his response and he said he cannot give me any compensation,just understand me. How could he said "impossible"?I said another member have contact with me,but he said nothing record in the chat history!I am so angry about that he said because I sent the product too early,and I need to wait their response. I don‘t know I must use the free return lable and actually no one response my email at all!
They are advertising free shipping, 20 percent off and free gift on orders over 75.00 dollars. They did not send free gift so I have contacted them several times and they sad sorry we are out but they are still advertising the same thing on Lancome.com

I placed an order online on 11-28-2022 which was canceled for no apparent reason. I had money in the bank and card was verified online with Applepay. When emailing and calling no one could tell me the specific reason that it was canceled but offered 3 various possibilities.
My order was during a special offer/sale and now, customer service advised they cannot give me the same pricing on my order. They offered to draft the full amount from my bank account and then reimburse me the difference… This is highly unacceptable!
Marisol in customer service truly went above and beyond to try to make this right but cannot process it at the same pricing upfront.
I would expect a better response from a company such as Lancôme. I have become a "former customer" as I am totally disappointed and will not place this order or use any Lancôme products in the future.

I tried ordering the "BUY1GET1" before the deadline... and of course the site didn't wouldn't move to "billing" to complete the order. So, thinking it was a problem with my IPAD, i logged off and used my work laptop. Well now the sight says I already used the code so I was not entitled to "Get1" any longer! What the heck!? I never got to complete the order! So today, I am trying to reach customer service and have been holding for 25 mins so far (though the announcement stated it would be less than 15 mins! I give up! I love the product but this is ridiculous! If I must buy Lancome, I will go to a Macy's or Nordsrtom! However, this has prompted me to move to another line of skin care. Its a shame. Lancome WAS great at one time!
Ordered something on Lancome.com and immediately realized the shipping address is wrong. Contacted the second day and they told me that once it's shipped there's no way to change the shipping address from their end. So I contacted them again on the same day and they told me there cannot make any changes until it's shipped out. It wasn't shipped at all it only shows that it created a label and the actual ship day was a week later. So I contacted UPS twice and they say that sender can change the address free of charge. So I contacted Lacome the third time, they simply told me that they cannot hold on the line to talk to UPS? I will simply not order from them ever again.
My order was canceled. I called them, they blamed in my credit card. I told them my credit card still working. They said They did not fix anything if order was canceled. I had to order the new one with new price( full price) because it passed promotions(discount). Look like they just want me order full price.
This company is a joke. They have the absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Lies, deception, bait and switch, faulty and misleading Elite Rewards program, untrained 'beauty advisors', GWP scam where they get you to buy a ton of stuff during gift with purchase, then either 'forget' to include your GWP or state that your items are out of stock, promise points for writing reviews - you will never receive the points, I could go on for days. Horrible - they have lost a long-term customer due to their horrible business practices and useless 'customer service' people.
Forget shipping. You RUINED Teint idole ultra wear! It is not just coming from customers like me that has worn this foundation since it came out! I have talked to cosmetic consultants in many stores and all have said they can't seem to work with the shades and formula of your new Teint Idole. I am spending a fortune trying to find a foundation that worked for me as well but will never buy ANYTHING from Lancôme again as you have really made this old lady mad! Wore power, blush, lipsticks etc. from Lancôme but can't deal with a company that is so stupid!
I must say I'm very disappointed at your brow define pencil. Bought it. Woolworths. It breaking a lot when using it. Within a week it was finished. I regret paying R395.00 for a thing that only lasted a week. Nosililo Mosegedi

My online order has once again been cancelled by the company THREE times. I have reached out to Lancôme representatives all 3 times. I was told it is an issue with my bank information (I have called and confirmed with my bank that the information is in fact correct). The last time I had reached out to a representative I was told someone from a higher management position will reach out to me within a week to resolve the issue. I have patiently waited and still no response from any of the representatives of Lancôme. I had trusted that someone would help me resolve the issue and reached out several times, but I had lack of response in all 3 inquiries! I had never had this issue shopping with any other company with the same bank card/ card information. This was a mother's day gift, and the order was cancelled without an explanation. I am throroughtly unsatisfied with the customer assistance and will no longer be shopping with the company
Lancome offered a free gift for +$42 purchase, not specifiying that discounted sets would not be granted with the gift. I have ordered the $68 set and have not received the gift. The customer service rep told that that set is not eligible for the gift due to discounted price. The had to advice on that at the time the order was placed. I will not recommend anybody to buy from Lancome bacause their unfair policies and actions.
Lancôme canceled my order on sale items without my permission. I forgot to log in when I ordered to get bonus points for my order. Well, I didn't get any points and they canceled my order for no reason.
When I called I was on hold for over an hour no one ever answered, I called three times. I tried to chat but received no response. They clearly don't appreciate their customers.
Lancome and Estee Lauder also Chanel comparison, I think Chanel products make my skin more smooth. In the past, I purchased the Lancome pink series. After use, I found that my face started to get red and painful. I think its products contain alcohol, irritated my skin and made my skin red and itchy. Now I do not want to buy any of Lancome's skin care products, I think I can add some money to choose Chanel's products
I placed an order online with Lancome. I had a 15% off discount and qualifed for a free gift with purchase. The site had me choose my products for the 7 piece free gift. When my order arrived, the was no free gift. When I contaced them, they said that I could not combine offers. I pointed out that according to their website, I did qualify for the free gift and was given options for choosing my free products. Their solution was to offer me 15% off on my next order. Really? I told them that this was not a satisfactory solution to the problem. They should send me the free gift. Still waiting for a response. I will no longer be buying from Lancome. While I have been satisfied with their products, their customer service is terrible and they have poor businesss practices.
