I started buying from them on-line when I lived in an area without a close Lane Bryant. Their sizes can run across the board with consistency so it makes it easy. 90% of my experiences have been perfect. The occasional wrong item ( last time they couldn't give me what I ordered :( as they were out of stock after I received the incorrect item). But otherwise. Pretty awesome.
Over 3 of my bras have broken with the wire popping out stabbing me. These are new less than 3 washes. New bras wire poking me under the arm. Uncomfortable.
I have bought bras from Lane Bryant three times in the past 8 months. They are supportive but the claps are weak. They all have broken on all the bras and I wash one of my bras and it burned in the dryer. This bras cost too much to be designed with cheap materials. I guess I have to find another store. There is no way I have spent over 200 for 8 bras and all the claps break. Only reason I gave two stars is because I do get good support

Been a customer of LB for 20 years and have been trying to place an order for 2 weeks on line with same error message. I did the chat and they could not place it either. Called into customer service they left me on hold for 45 minutes while trying to place the order and came back and said call back later we cannot process it technical difficulties. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she told he was not available and to call them back later. I need to call them back? Mind you this is a $300.00 + order. I am furious and I will not be a Torrid forever customer. This is just absolutely insane. LB used to be the best it is very obvious to me why they are rated 2 stars. It is sad - loved this store. But Customer service can make or break my service with a company. Left a horrible taste in my mouth.
Online the stores says it's open and when you go to the store its still closed.
I have called the store then called corporate office to find out if they will ever open again just to be on hold for 38 minutes. I need to return something and purchase some other items.

This company is a scam, dishonest, and a complete joke! I've had a card with them for years. I had a $300 limit and without any warning they lowered it to $100 limit. They had no answer why and considering I paid my balance on time each month I couldn't believe this. The woman on the phone was VERY rude when I tried to find out what had happened. I recently read up on the company and found that this happens quite often. I'll never shop here again. Pathetic and disgraceful!

They dont care about their employees especially the part time ones which most are and that they only care about getting the smucks as they call it to get credit cards, management makes temps do their jobs of finding somebody to cover for them if they get sick or in hospital to cover for them and only work temps a max of 12 hrs a week. Thats why customer service sucks overall My Daughter works there trying to get work at anywhere
They charge more for international returns then the clothes are worth! Worst, their website does not state that they charge fees for returns! When you call them, their rep just keeps on repeating the same thing and does not listen. Tried to explain that the policy is different on the web site, but rep did not care.
I ordered in- store for something to be delivered at home as they did not have the size in store. Received notification that it was delivered, but it was not. Called and was given a reference # and told that nothing could be done for five business days. Called back on fifth business day and was told I could pay for the item out of pocket.and they would process a refund for the first order. I asked why they could not just not reorder with the credit. Was given the runaround for 1/2 hiur. Issue still not resolved. I am out $60 for an item that never arrived and will not be sent to me. This "process" is ridiculous!
Donna was great! My mom and I were there to try on bras and she helped us for over an hour to get just the right thing. Donna get 5 stars! However, they had signs all over the store BOGO for $10. I loaded up on some really cute tops and when I got to the register they only took $10 off each top. Needless to say I left with no tops.

Lane Bryant wont let you apply promo codes & real women dollars online, I usually have to go instore for the best deals.
Im also a platinum card member with free shipping but it never works online. Ive called customer service twice & they couldnt fix it. I have to ship to store & go pick it up for free shipping.
I placed an online order, and the money was held on my bank account, but the order was canceled. I phoned Lane Bryant this morning, and the customer service rep was very helpful and re-placed the order. However, and additional hold was placed on my account and, they once again canceled my order. When I phoned back to find out the problem, she blamed my bank information (which matched their billing and shipping information). When we reviewed that, she tried to tell me that she can't release the 2 holds on my account but was willing to have me place another order.
I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and Better Business Bureau and placing a fraud alert on my bank. I will also never again order from Lane Bryant.

I rated it a 3 because my birthday coupon states balance must equal $20.01. It was 27. Something before tax shipping free etc than I was told these same 3 items were totaling $37 something and I had to buy more items to use my bday coupon. I just had 3 orders 2 bigger orders. I prefer not getting the birthday coupon you have to spend 50 or more even though coupon states $20.01. A waste of my time...

I keep ordering online and they keep cancelling items days later. No explanation, no apology; they just remove items. The people in the chat are useless. They didn't apologize... they didn't even attempt to explain.

I went to the Lane Bryant store in Queenbury NY, asked the sales lady for guidance in purchasing jeans that don't stretch out of shape. She steered me to the mid-rise jeans saying they held their shape, etc. Well... after trying on, purchasing, (they had to order size 22 petite and send them to me) washing and altering the hem, I put them on and within less than 2 hours they were stretched out at least 1 size larger! I had to keep hiking them up so they wouldn't fall down. Why on earth are they making these jeans? They are supposed to be skinny jeans and there is at least 4-5 inches of room in the legs, seat and hips, nothing like the pictures on the website. Of course, they say you can't return after washing or altering, etc. I bought 2 pairs so wasted over $100. Don't rely on the photos, they are very misleading. Not happy at all.
I love the fact that their pants are for so many different sizes including length and hip-width, which is soooo rare. They have great sales and their clothes are typically roomier than many other plus-size stores.
Make sure you DO NOT order from Lane Bryant - you could wait months for your items, and they will tell you every day that it has been shipped and is expected to be delivered. This is not the first time, but it will be THE LAST! Don't even dream of having something in time for a holiday. Horrible company, no customer service, chat is unavailable, yada yada yada... Terrible!
I ordered 2 pair of shorts on june 30th here it is july 14 an still nothing not to mention i had ordered the same 2 pair a few weeks before this an they sent it to a store that is closed which in turn they sent the items back a refunded my card

I was going on a trip to the US for 12 days and ordered a bunch of items around 2 weeks before arriving. A few of the items shipped and arrived before me, but the others showed as processing. I called and was told the items were picked by the warehouse and were waiting for a carrier and would update shortly. A few days later they hadn't updated and I called again - same message. On the 11th day of my trip I called to cancel and was told the issue would be escalated and someone would get back to me. I am now back home and keep calling/live chatting and every time I am told the order is still processing and hasn't been cancelled and they will escalate the issue and someone will get back to me. No one ever does.
I ordered an ivory fanny pack style purse for an event. I received a black one. I called and the lady said she will send me an ivory one. If I ordered again so I did. She said that she would expedite the shipping so I could receive it on time. I received it a day late for my event and it was BLACK again. When I called they tried to get me to buy a 3rd one... I feel like" fool me the first time shame on them fool me the second shame on me". I'm not an idiot. But I am upset. We got know where. I'm not going to keep purchasing the wrong item so they can keep sending me the wrong color.

When all of a sudden the food kicked in something didn't agree... I beg the Lady to please use the rest room it was a emergency, she responded no we don't have public bathroom, I said I know, this one time please again no, so I put all the clothes down, you lost out on about 400$ it was at WaterFord Ct. At 4 pm I wasn't someone he just walked in to use the rest room I was there for over 45 min. Shopping, shame on them. They lost a very good customer for good...
Hello on April 22,2023 I went in the Firewheel Mall in Garland TX. The Manager which was a man he was a total Jerk. I was trying to exchange or return a bra. He said we don't have those anymore. I went over to the bras and found one but not the color I wanted. He said we can not order you one. So I went back over there and I finally found one. He did not ask to help me or even ask me if I needed help. He helped four other customers but not me! Jerk! Then I took my bra up there then he said I can not do anything for you! You have to keep the bra that I wore two times that I paid 50 dollars for! Bad customer service!

I made sure that when i placed an order it would be shipped and received by april 10. It us an easter gift and if not received it is useless to me. Well guess what, it's still pending. Yesterday i was assured it was preparing to ship. Guess what still pending. We have bought from vendors shipping in 24 hours. This is not the first problem I have had with lane bryant or catherines. They feel you ade getting a deal with free shipping. I don't care about free shipping, i want my order. We are all impacted by the coronavirus. However this is a business. You provide a service and if you can't deliver then don't offer it. I have been a customer a long time but with the aggravation it will be the last order i lkace. There are too many companies with good service to be bithered with this again.
I have been purchasing LIVI active leggings long pants, capris, shorts, yoga pants, and yoga capris. All of the long pants and Capri pants end up being see through after a couple of washings! They claim to be no show through, and they are Completely see through!
First time customer coming in. I live about 45 mins away and this store was the closest one to me. Due to the covid-19 the store at the Greene was asking people to wear a mask. I didn't have one. Due to the covid-19 they wouldn't fit me for my correct size and the fitting rooms were closed. I told them my size problem, they suggested a size, then I took two items home only to find out they didn't fit at all. I work a lot of hours and I do not have time to come back anytime soon. Please note, the cashier was very friendly and professional. I don't blame them. I blame the company. I understand taking precautions, but sometimes you can go a little too far with them. It's very inconvenient for the people that have limited amounts of time. It would have been worth the wait to wait for a clean fitting room than to have to take time out of another day to return.
I went to my local lane bryant, great service BTW, the ladies were super helpful and attentive...however when I went to use my lane byrsnt cc it declined me, mind u I hardly use my cc unless I'm needing new bras...long story short it declined me because they had shut done my card for not using it in a year so the lady reran it and it approved it but still kept declining my purchase, so we called and the representative on the phone told me that I was not approved. 1sT of all why why would u even turn my cc off?! I will not be shopping there again, not because of the service but because I have always paid my cc on time and just because I hadn't used it in a while they decided to turn it off. I do not recommend getting a credit card through them.
