I had damaged my screen on my HP Netbook. Both BestBuy and HP were going to charge $250 to replace. My Netbook cost me $200 to begin with.:-(
Instead, I ordered a replacement screen from laptopscreen.com and was glad that I did. It cost me $55 (screen) plus $15 (delivery) and arrived undamaged and within 5 business days.

Couldn't believe that a company actually sent me the correct item the first time around. Plus it definitely upgraded the screen since i really hated that n
Matte screen it originally came with. Now the screen has that bright crisp picture. If i ever break a screen again I'd definitely buy again from here.

Great job!
September 25, 2017

Everything is top notch and professional! Highly recommend.
My Toshiba laptop was purchased 6 years ago (pretty old hah).
I managed to replace the screen myself (zero experience) watching step-by-step video from this site.
Great job!

I finally received the screen after 4 weeks. The website does not explain that when using PayPal one must send payment to an email. That is STUPID! I have made many purchases from other sellers online and have been taken directly to the PayPal site for approval of my transaction. This website, however, causes the buyer to all of the work for them. 1. Remember (or copy) their email addess 2. Open your PayPal acct. 3. Click around until you find the procedure for sending payment to an email address. 4. Enter all transaction info manually and submit it, etc. The people at laptopscreen.com seem to run the business on the cheap (visions of a dirty warehouse with roaches and mice pooping everywhere) and seem confused about their own purchasing process. P.S. It would also be nice to speak to someone who is proficient in speaking basic English.

With all appropriate consideration,
You are describing a manual PayPal payment procedure which every PayPal payable site uses in case the automated process does not go through.
It is no where near compulsory for our website as you describe it and usually means a failure on the local side, due to disabled JavaScript or bogged down / infected computer.
"That is STUPID!" - I agree, you seem to have went through a bunch of self-imposed hoops, but don't blame us for it.
You have received the screen 4 weeks after you paid for it, or 4 week after you have thought you have ordered it? (There is a big difference)
As for your comments about your visions of a dirty warehouse with rodents pooping, well, without having to prove anything to you, and not to diminish your insightful visions,
Please take into account that mice are not able to digest LCD screens, and thus them pooping in our warehouse would be a near impossibility.
Unless of course they go eat somewhere, and then come back to poop in our warehouse, which is possible, but highly inconsiderate of them.
Same goes for roaches, as they do require a food source to support their colonies, and since we do not store perishables in our brand new 5500sq warehouse,
With 30 foot ceilings, rustic cedar beams and polished concrete floors, they do not grace our location with their presence.
I am not sure as to the source of your visions (I might have some guesses), and I highly doubt your estimations of our inability to speak English;
Although I am sorry you allege to have had a bad experience, I do very much doubt that the outcome of it was even remotely in our control.

My parent's laptop wasn't working so they shipped it to me to have a look. Turned out the screen was the problem. Laptopscreen.com had the info I needed to order the correct replacement screen at a great price, it was shipped promptly, and I had no problems with the installation. My parents, who are in their 80's, were thrilled they were without their laptop for only 6 days (and I am a hero!). I was very impressed with the service I got from Laptopscreen.com and was glad I could order from a Canadian company.

1) google'd laptop screen, and the model number of my laptop, ASUS G50Vt

2) laptopscreen.com came up, and had the best price, plus the site appeared to have better information.

3) I ordered the screen, which BTW: cost less than half of what it would cost to have the shop replace it.

4) Screen arrived, and it took me about an hour to install.

5) screen looks and works great. Bright, clear, crisp.

I am a satisfied customer.

I read the negative reviews when posting here, and see some negative ones which look more like they were posted by jealous competition. No real complaint, just grousing, and echoing other reviews and complaints. Unless there is a specific issue stated, I would ignore these grousers.

Ordered two screens
June 24, 2013

Ordered two screens. I was a bit worried because they didn't email if they were shipped but soon enough I got my screens. I was charged a foreign transaction fee because apparently they process the payment in Canada but they were shipped from WA. Don't tag my review as fake... This is my website myintelitech.com. You can contact me there if you want further info on this site.

Order a screen for my Asus G73. They shipped a 1600x900 by mistake instead of the full 1080P I ordered. I am glad this little mishap happened, I was able to get in touch with their customer service through the ticket submission system. It is by far the quickest reaction time I have ever seen from an online vendor, it was replied to within 30 minutes and my issue was solved in less than 5 minutes and they emailed me a return sticker and sent me the correct screen right away. The right screen arrived in 1 business day in perfect condition.

I was a little skeptical at first since there were mixed reviews, however after this pleasant experience I would recommend laptopscreen.com to any of my friends.

For around $60 and about half an hour of my time, I was able to fix my laptop screen that would have otherwise meant ditching my computer. As it was a Chromebook, it was only worth $250 new, and I was quoted more than that to fix it elsewhere. I was very surprised at how easy it was. If you can take out six screws, unplug, replug, and put back the six screws, you can change a laptop screen!

Laptopscreen.com came to my rescue... After discovering that my HP Pavillion G6 laptop screen was indeed cracked by calling HP and that not only it was not covered on the warranty but also that I would have to shell out $395! I googled how to go about doing it on my own and laptopscreen.com came up on search. They were prompt in replying to my question of ordering the correct screen, and gave me the video links on how to take out the cracked screen. 2 days later I installed my new screen and saved $320!

I just spent $84 with shipping for a new screen for my MSI 620CR. $84!

I was quoted $600 when it originally cracked over two years ago and I've been using an LCD television via HDMI since finding laptopscreen.com. Wish I would have looked sooner.

Installation is a breeze. I was also offered money back if I uploaded a video of the installation of the new scree. I thought this was great for a company to do. This way other can see how it done with my particular model laptop. Such a good idea.

Shipping was quick and easy. Excellent packaging. Lots of bubble wrap!

Do not let computer shops rip you off. Screen replacement isn't rocket science. I was quoted a price of $320.00 and they said the part would take 10 days to come in. BS! I ordered mine for a fraction on the cost and have it a whirl after watching a few you tube vids. Ladies (and men) if you know how to use a small screwdriver, you can replace your own screen. My only tips are 1)to use a magentic screwdriver or buy a magnetizer.
2) Have a partner when reassemling to get the first screw in. 3) watch a few you tube videos beforehand.

I was searching around for a replacement laptop screen and ended up buying from laptopscreen.com
The price was great, a couple of minutes in a chat with one of their customer service reps was all it took to verify I was ordering the right screen, and I got the screen in 2 business days.
I couldn't be happier with the experience.

Excellent resource, even if you're not (as I'm not) terribly technically inclined. Screen arrived quickly, at a fair price (local computer repair shop wanted 3x the cost of the screen, for parts & labor), the video (even though it was not for the exact model) was helpful. Video could be slightly more detailed -- I couldn't get the webcam reconnected, so I don't know if I broke it or just didn't know how to reconnect it. In any case I'm planning on ordering several more screens from this site (who knew how clumsy i was... 8-{)

"Laptopscreen.com was recommended to me when I needed a screen fast. I found out they were local (within 55 miles to my house), so I thought I had found the perfect solution to my problem. Boy was I wrong! I made the order on May 27th early enough in the day to expect it to arrive the next day or maybe even the day after. When it didn't show up on either day I gave them a call. The kid on the phone kept talking over me while I was explaining (which was pissing me off even more) and after looking at it tells me that it will take at least 5 working days to get to me, cause that was just how it was. I am hoping it does finally show up. Due to poor customer service and horrible shipping practices I would never recommend this place to anyone."

Just for the record, we don't actually employ kids.
USPS lost a truck worth of packages this week (thanks),
First time they did it (and probably the last)
More bad reviews will come to us because of that incident,
Please kindly direct them against USPS.com

Bought a screen for my laptop (Dell Inspiron) from them. Got it in about a week. Installed it and everything worked fine. They're in Canada, but they still delivered the screen in good shape and in good time. I would recommend them based on my experience. The website is good and the selection met my needs. Henry
