I just ordered a new screen for my ageing but much-loved laptop and am pleased with the result. The world of laptop replacement panels is a minefield and laptopscreen.com makes navigating this minefield a great deal easier. By simply entering the model of the existing panel in my laptop (although they can also match by laptop model) I had the choice to either order the exact same panel or order a compatible but better one. Laptopscreen.com offers either an exact replacement or an "IPS" or "IPS and professional color range" upgrade. I went for the most expensive option for an additional £7.50 and am fairly pleased with the result. The panel they sent me and that I have subsequently installed is indeed an IPS panel and it is somewhat colour accurate. The one feature I really wish they offered is to display the model of panel that you're paying for when you opt for an upgrade. At current the system is a bit of a gamble because you don't know if the supposedly superior and more colour accurate panel you're paying for is actually a better panel. If they showed you up front what you were paying for (or, better, offered a list of compatible upgrade options) this would be much better as you could do independent research and make an informed decision.

The business seems to be fairly well organised offering a broad range of panels, good shipping times and high quality packaging. I'm a technically competent individual used to working on laptops so the whole process was not difficult for me although it was definitely made easier by being able to purchase a drop-in replacement panel.

Ordered a replacement screen for my sons Chrome Book that had vertical lines on about 25% of the screen. Very happy with the replacement screen and the service and speed - Ordered on a Sunday, delivered to Texas on Wednesday.

Wasn't sure about ordering a screen on-line, but the site was recommended by a local electronic retailer. Site made it easy to find the right screen, and provided good pictures to ensure that I chose the right screen and the right connection location. Not being a computer guy I was worried about being able to remove the old screen and install the new one, but the video tutorial showed me how to do it and it was actually as easy as it looked.

The HP EliteBook 8460p Display was delivered quickly to Zurich/Switzerland. Thanks to the tutorial, replacing the display was a matter of a few minutes. Unfortunately, the background light brightness is rather poor compared to another 8460p I have (around 60%).

Thus, the total costs of around $80 was eventually rather high...

Well my son jumped on the couch and landed on my wife's laptop screen. The screen started out with a small crack in the corner causing some pixelation and within a week grew to half the screen. I did some research online and found laptopscreen.com. It was very reasonably priced compared anyl other site I found. I have to say when I first found out it was going to cost me $400-$600 dollars to get my daughter's screen fixed I started looking and found the laptopscreen.com. I was not sure what screen to order and called their website, not only did they tell me what screen to order but they also gave me the correct address to take me to the screen. I recevied the screen in 3 days, waited til the weekend to put it in and had no problems at all. I reviewed the video on the webside again before doing it and there were no problems and it was very easy. You do need little screwdrivers so I had to purchase them but I would recommend this screen to everyone and cheap too. Thank you!

So, I stepped on my laptop like a dip-$#*! and I needed a new screen. So I went to best buy and in the advertise section this site popped up and I clicked on it and was like "hmm, imma look around" So I googled and ebayed and basically was like "what?" And this site was cheaper than the other site I found which was $100... Plus this site ha a tutorial... which I needed cause I never fixed a laptop in my life. So I got the shipping actually a day earlier than ups said I would( I was so stoked) and it came in this thing of HUGE bubble wrap(which thrilled me to no end) and I am currently using the laptop now. So i'm extremely happy. :)

After breaking my laptop screen I took it to Best Buy to get it replaced. They sent it out but it came back not replaced with the explaination that they couldn't get the replacement screen.

After my kids put my laptop on the floor and the stepped on it, crushing the screen, I presumed I was due for spending several hundred dollars to replace a laptop.
