Recieved and installed new screen for a compaq presario. Worked fine and took all of 15 minutes to install. However no instructions were included and the generic video on you tube didn't address the unusual installation for the presario! According to the manufacturer you need to remove the keyboard, the hard drive and alot of other parts which made me reconsider attempting this replacement! Fortunately another you tube do it yourself screen replacement video by screen surgeons showed me a trick to remove the screen without all the work. Took 15 minutes! Screen was from China not an LG like original but works fine
The worst customer service I ever dealt with. They sent me two defective screens that are defective according to the ACER representative in Colombia and I had to spend more than US300 in mailing screens and sending the computer and screens to be checked by technitians in my country to certify the screens were defective. A screen that was supposed to cost $65, I have to buy it locally for $250 plus the money a lost with Laptopscreen thieves. They just asked me to walk away, that is unacceptable and a serious supplier will cover all the damages caused.
My laptop's screen broke on a Monday and I replaced it two days later. Shipping from Canada (Mississauga, ON) to Mexico (Mexico City) was only $20 USD and it took 2 days to get here, which was excellent. The screen was a perfect match and I'm overall really satisfied.
I do have a small complaint, but it's absolutely not LaptopScreen's fault; The courier I used (DHL) charged me about 37% of "taxes". Only 16% of that were actual taxes, the remaining 21% was all bull$#*! DHL "warehouse" charges. Thankfully they offer several carrier options, stay away from DHL, they're a bunch of thieving wankers. Go with UPS or Fedex if you live outside Canada or the US.
TL; DR: Broke laptop, bought the screen from a great company, fixed laptop. Oh, and $#*! DHL, it's the second time they've pulled this crap on me.
I ordered a replacement screen for my Toshiba Chromebook CB35. (The first version not the high def version.) The screen shipped out quickly, and I was able to find a video on the web showing the screen replacement process. It took me 30-40 minutes to open up the laptop and install the new screen. Everything worked! Very happy with the new screen.
I was trying to replace 2 iPad Mini screens after they cracked. They were cheap and shipped very quickly, so I was happy! They arrived intact, and I followed the official Laptop Screens tutorial step by step. However, when I turned it on, it was broken. There were streams of light everywhere. After extensive research, I realized the problem lay in the fact that the tutorial
NEVER told us to UNPLUG THE BATTERY before we unplug the LCD. This caused a surge of power, blowing a fuse and therefore killing power to the LCD. My local repair guy told me it would be more expensive to fix the problem then to just buy a new one :( Plus, their 5 minute long tutorial took me 2 hours to complete when following it step by step. So overall, a great product with good shipping and packaging, but misleading tutorials that cost me my iPad mini.
Very good communication with the seller - fast answered all my questions. I received the correct item (LCD for HP-G62) well packed in just 3 days after payment - excelent work! Also found usefull video information for my laptop model on how to replace the screen, so I managed to do it relative easily. Works perfect, spotless. I'm definetly very happy with the item and service I received from them (laptopscreen.com).
This is my third purchase from laptopscreen in the last month, and I am very pleased with thier products & customer service. My first order arrived with a defective product, but they refunded the money for it right away. The 2nd order was perfect. All but 2 items on the 3rd order came right away, as two items were backordered. I now know that I dont need to worry about the last two items coming a bit later, since they seem very honorable. Will be back again. Keep up.
Ok, after spending a week to search for a screen replacement of my Dell Inspiron N7010, I settled on laptopscreen.com because they had the cheapest price, and their selection was easier. They had the instructions on their site to guide me in finding the right screen for my model number. The only thing missing was a video on how to replace the screen for my model, which I was able to get off of youtube.
The screen arrived faster than expected, and it took me all of 15 minutes to replace the screen, which I did with ease. They even offered me $20 if I were to make a video of my screen replacement and post it on youtube.
I recieved wrong screen two months ago. Still trying to exhange. It is not easy dealing with these people, I caution you. Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's a good deal. I have copy and pasted model number, stock number and everything, to help them move a little faster, and yet they are still stallilng. Now they want my Dell service number before exhanging anything. What the H do they need that for, all i want is my dang screen replaced! I will NEVER buy from these people again, and I strongly urge you not use them! You will be sorry.

It is very important to contact support as soon as an indication of an issue develops, it is also important to communicate all relevant information.
Item shipped to customer is the correct replacement for their laptop, and the issue may stem from the laptop itself.

I had to tell this, when my Acer laptop screen broke and I asked the customer support for a replacement quote I was told I had to shell out USD 200 for the same, I therefore gave up the idea of replacing it and started using it after connecting it to to my TV through HDMI. It was not until I ended up breaking another one of my laptops (what are the odds!) - this time a Toshiba than I started thinking seriously about looking for a cheaper alternative; I did not have an appetite for spending $400 for replacing LED screens. I came across this website and ordered 2 screens for guess what (about - $136) including shipping. I could fix them both easily and they are running great. Icing on the cake is their offer to give $20 back if one posts the replacement video on a public website. Couldn't ask for more!
The touchscreen was cracked on the Dell, It took 24hrs to get the part and then was delivered back to me. Nice Service, delivery and pickup from work. As they say, all good to go. Thankyou great service.
Now they are a little pricey but it's a goid deal! You get to find your exact computer screen, buy it seperately, and have it installed into your PC instead of buying a nee one! I recently purchased an ASUS Notebook Windows 8 literally last summer and a semester into college My screen was cracked. (I kind of blamed it on my heavy hands that had tooooo much pressure on it as I tried to lift it :( .) BUT a friend who fixes computers recommended that I buy a screen instead of replacing in. Since I had no insurance. He reseached some websites and this was the particular one that he suggested. I found my EXACT laptop screen, ordered with 3 day shipping (because the rest were pricey), and my screen came a day earlier! It was fixed the next day and I can honestly say if my screen ever breaks again(which I hope not) I will be right back to this site! I'm definitely sharing the word. Keep up the great customer service and come to our rescues!
Needed a new screen for my girlfriends daughters laptop. Called to make sure i had the correct screen and the tech was very helpfull. They actually sent me an email with the link for the screen i needed for the laptop. The price was very good and shipping was about a week to get it. WORKED GREAT! Culdnt have asked for more!
I went directly to my model, watched a video and took my screen off. I matched it to pictures, ordered the screen, it came in just a couple days, I watched the rest of the video how to put it back together and it was DONE! I highly recommend these guys! I know NOTHING about electronics and it was easy.
It all went well except I should have waited until I had the screen BEFORE I took it apart. I had a hard time getting the wires back in their exact place. If there is a next time I would also make a video and save $50
I was a bit hesitant at first to buy something that was only $48. But the alternative would have been to throw away nearly $400 worth of netbook away (ASUS X201E). I really appreciated that the web site had the pictures of the screen close up so that I could at least inspect the connector. I found videos of similar screens being dismantled so I tried and discovered that it took only about 2 minutes to takes the broken screen out. When the new screen arrived in 2 days, it took about 5 minutes to connect and replace the bezel. I was thrilled that it worked flawlessly upon power up and was further surprised that there were no dead pixels. Remarkable.
Laptopscreen.com web site was easy to use. I called and they double checked stock. I was a little let down that the phone operator could not tell me the brand and mfg PN prior to the sale. The monitor was not the same brand, but was an exact replament. All in all it was a good experience buying from them.
One odd thing was the location on the web was Seattle, but the charge was international. Not a big thing, but was flagged by my credit card co.
I ordered a screen for a Toshiba Netbook. It arrived next day (Must be a close warehouse) and it was the cheapest screen available on the internet anywhere.
I couldn't believe it when a screen that goes for $100+ everywhere else was less than $70 AFTER shipping and it still arrived the very next day.
Awesome experience.
Wouldn't you know it. The warranty on my laptop expires and I cracked the heck out of the LED. The price to have the screen replaced is 1/2 the cost of the laptop. Desperate I looked around to see what was out there, and I found LapTopScrren. They had the part, the sight asked all the right questions to make sure I got the right one, linked to the part was a video of the repair procedure, and toolkits if you didn't have the right tools for the job. The site is well organized and anticipated my every need. I have never replaced a screen before, and I did it. Works great. Recommend definitely.
An amazing company. I don't work for them or anything like that. I was a bit unsure at first but I would recomend them to anyone. Here's why...
Very easy to find the screen I was looking for.
Toshiba wanted $391 to replace the screen, laptopscreen.com wanted $115 including shipping.
My order was trackable through the delivery company. I think it was UPS.
The screen arrived in about a week and was well packaged.
I just gave the entire box to the repair tech at futureshop and within 24 hrs, I had a new screen installed and I can use my laptop again.
I am very impressed with the simplicity of the whole process. I did not really know if I could trust the company but I figured for the 100 bucks, why not. I couldn't find a screen anywhere else so I went for it.
The take home message is... If you need a screen, use this company. It is not too good to be true. It works and works very well.

Customer's described effects of "streams of light everywhere" do not correlate to the customer's diagnosis of "blowing a fuse and therefore killing power to the LCD". Had the fuse been in-fact damaged - there would be no light on the screen what-so-ever. The effects described are typical of a physically damaged LCD.
By the way - our tutorial is filmed on a live device and the iPad Mini tutorial shows the device working before and after full dis-assembly. A back-light fuse will not be damaged simply due to a disconnection of the connector - but the fuse may be affected if the connector is slanted or forced during reconnection by the installer. Customer is welcome to contact support to send the item back for a full refund:
