My gf got this app for family. One night its said I left home 1am in morning but im still in bed. Then picks back up at 8:50am at location blocks away from home. Their are days I lose 10 mins of tracking. Absolutely horrible app

ZERO STARS!
This company is terrible and has a terrible business model. This product doesn't work as advertised. I was 4 days late to canceling the free trial and was charged for an ENTIRE year. I could deal with a month. Not being flexible with this and just taking people's money is awful business practice. And just deferring to the 'contract' is terrible customer service. Why don't you try to help people out instead of just deferring to your contract? I'll make sure to steer everyone I know away from this product. It doesn't even work! The timestamps are always off and if your kid turns on 'airplane mode' it doesn't even track them.

Both my children who I have on this app were in a car accident where airbags deployed… (sane event) neither registered as being in a crash and yes crash detection was on. Another accident where no crash notified also. Contacted customer service, minimal response and is being escalated. BS. There original response not all incidences may register. Ummm this was a crash where the car was totaled and airbags deployed. Short of dropping off a cliff what type of accident would register. I should get my upgraded expense refunded. Horrible. And customer service equally horrible.

HOW LOW CAN THEY GO?

I downloaded life360 because my child had to walk from and to school and wanted to make sure they got there and back safely while I had to work. Due to certain issues I could no longer afford the membership. I cancelled back in NOVEMBER 2021 I have all emails still to show when it was cancelled. When I reached out to them to inform them that they were still charging my card they asked for proof and that's exactly what I did. NOW WITH ALL THE PROOF I GAVE THEM 7 SCREENSHOTS THEY CLAIM THAT I "CANCELLED" IN MARCH? HUH HOW WHEN THE EMAL CLEARLY SHOWS 11/22/21 735AM IT WAS CANCELLED? NOW THEY WANNA ARGUE ABOUT HOW IM LYING!? HOW I GAVE Y'ALL SO MANY SCREEN SHOTS WITH ALL THE INFORMATION. HOW LOW CAN Y'ALL GO! SERIOUSLY! Then gave me back 1 refund and said that's all they can do because of "strict policies" PLEASE YOU ALL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TOUR DOING. AND THAT'S WHY YOUR RATINGS ARE SO LOW BECAUSE Y'ALL PLAY TO MUCH..

The accuracy with Life 360 is usually pretty good when it's working - but that's not often - they changed the format of the app that show dimensional objects, instead of aerial shots like it used to show. I am a gold member - doesn't notify you upon impact, like it states.

Also, I needed to change my billing and Apple ID, which they're not able to help me - which I find very hard to believe. So in order to continue to see my service as I am unable to sign in to my old account - I guess my only choice is to cancel my credit card, which is an inconvenience. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Insane & Inaccurate

I am almost twenty. I'm about to lose my car all due to the "Top Speed" feature on this sin of an app. I never go over about 56mph because I have extreme anxiety while on the roads. TELL ME WHY IT SAYS I WAS GOING 103? And of course my father believes this bs MOBILE APP instead of me. Not to mention it sells your info to insurance? Can totally screw everyone & anyone over.

This is a different point completely, but the amount of parents and spouses who downloaded this app to abuse is... frightening. You guys are crazy and it goes to show that if you could implant a CHIP inside of people, you 100% would. Stop misusing a GPS as a personal tracker because you have trust issues! This app was originally created for safety purposes, not to fulfill your weird obsessive stalkerish habits. Sincerely, get help.

Disaster

This app need to be taken down. They had successfully destroyed countless of relationship thru the years. The app marks you at some stupid location when the user is not even there. To make the situation worse, when you have a crazy gf. She tilted and demand an explanation why the user went there when it never happen.

Totally mental torture and unhealthy to download this app. Total madness is when you have to pay for the PREMIUM service

Good enough for tracking familiy members. Don't waste money paying for extra services like roadside and more. Horrible service. Dropped calls. Lack of communication and incompetent processes that don't assure good prompt service and communication. Just horrible. Reckless to say they provide these kind of security and safety features when they really can't follow up on the promise. Putting people in danger. Reckless and just horrible.

I know me and my fellow teen friends wish life 360 didn't even exists. I mean a tracker really? I think it's so ridiculous that we have to have something like this to make our parents feel "safe" I know good and week back then no one had this or had any knowledge of it Life 360 shouldn't be a thing nor any other tracking app honestly so sad!

Not worth it

Reasons to avoid:
- It requires way too many permissions
- They sell your information to 3rd parties who in turn sell your driving history to insurance companies
- uses more background processes than almost any other app on my phone.

The rest of the reviews on here have the bugs covered pretty well so I wont beat a dead horse. Dont waste your money and risk your personal information being sold to the highest bidder.

Charges

I have been on this app for over a year, they offered me a free 3 day subscription to upgrade, I said ok, then decided not to purchase it, then they charge my credit card on google without my permission, I had canceled on the 2nd day. I send them proof and their email is full, then I ask for a number to call and they say they dont have one. Im still trying to get fefunded and I dont even know what they charged yet, they never sent me a price or anything saying I was upgraded. There is no proof of purchase, they never sent it because I didnt purchase. I sent a picture of the free one and it expired it says and says no active subscription.

Saved a life

We had a family member threatening to take their own life. 360 helped us save them by being able to track them and being able to pass this information onto police. Just thank God on this day they had it turned on. Thanks 360

NO STARS!

DO NOT SPEND YOU HARD EARNED MONEY on THIS APP! The app does NOT work, you can NOT contact them only through email and they do NOT respond. THen tried to cancel and that does NOT work. I have to cancel my CC in order to stop the auto deduct. This is a SCAM and DO NOT PURCHASE...

Lacks consistency

This app does not keep track of ones location even my own. It will say that I've been home and I've left the area several times. It says my husbands is off when I can clearly see it isn't. I wouldn't depend on this app at all,

Garbage and lies

Accident alert
August 8, 2021

My dad was in a rollover accident a couple days ago. Life 360 sent an alert to our circle saying his phone could have been in a collision or dropped his phone and said we should try to call him. My mom and I both tried calling and no answer. When I looked to see where he was he was 6 minutes from my work. So my friend and I jumped in her truck and life 360 took me to his location. He was in an accident. I had arrived before the police and ambulance all because life 360 had alerted us. I will recommend this app to everyone!

Perfect App

I have this tracking app on my granddaughters phones. The app cost $0. My oldest granddaughter is visiting a friend in California. I get a text from the app...
Life360 detected sudden motion on Lucy's phone. This could be the result of a collision, hard braking, or a dropped phone. We suggest that you call Lucy to check on them.
So we tracked her phone and sent her pictures of exactly where it was. Incidentally, it was on the side of Pacific Coast Hwy. She left it on top of the car. Still works like a charm. Scared the crap out of her grandfather and I. Also got a follow-up text from Life360 that they had reached Lucy. Great app. End of story.

App will notify me that a family member "just arrived" at a location, but when I look, they're still at home. Emailed tech support, only to be told that it was likely a phone problem. I told them it wasn't possible for 9 phones (9 family members) to have the same issue. After several obnoxious emails from them, I blocked their tech support. Highly advise this app NOT be used... not worth the money.
