Hello, I paid $2.99 for Life360 Plus. Do my other family members need to pay as well for me being able to see them? I'm trying to track my son, but it says "No network or phone off", but he has his phone on and is connected to internet!
On the app it even says that the last time his location was updated was a week ago...
Could someone please reply to this? Thank you.
Dear all users,
Please be aware that the sex offender portion is not kept up-to-date. I have been trying to contact the company for weeks concerning this matter and have not been able to reach anyone. I personally know two people listed on the app who are no longer registered sex offenders. Sadly, as great of an idea as I think the app could be, the irresponsibility of life360 is coming to light. I would recommend using your states registry to find accurate information, rather than use this product.
I submit to you my resentment and anger as a result of the information fallacies you have provided to the love of my life. We both signed on to your app to ameliorate our real time knowledge of our respective whereabouts. On several occasions your poor excuse for software provided not only inaccurate but implausible or impossible location information. Close shop now. Your irresponsibility causes havoc. Before anyone else has to waste time explaining your inaccuracies to someone who means EVERY THING to them, shut it down.
This app invades everyone's privacy, what happened to parent-child trust? The app doesn't even work! My daughter was at home next to me and the location said she was 8 miles away. I have officially deleted the app and our relationship has gotten so much better. There are so many better ways to know where your child is without having a tracking device.
Twice it has shown me in places I was not. Once showed that I shut it off when I didn't at the most inopportune times. Likely getting divorced because this app is unreliable! Class action lawsuits? I hope so
I've had this for years. It worked great but in the last year it's spotty. I posted a negative review before and it started working again. Now it doesn't. They made some changes and they were not an improvement.
I have three teens and loved this app when they were new drivers. Got woken up tonight by an alert that one had left home. FREAKED OUT! Went and looked... everyone is in bed. Sat up about 45 minutes calming my racing heart and got the alert that they were back at home. Definitely not reliable. Glad it woke me up though, someone would've been in huge trouble had I seen that "trip" and believed the app to be accurate!
This app has almost destroyed our marriage. It's accuracy of where you actually are, start and stopping times and enabling/disabling the app are poor, to say the least. My wife had to follow me on almost a daily routine trip to 'accept' that I was not lying about my whereabouts. And we have the upgraded package. You will see many reviews describing similar 'nightmares' with this product.
Had this app to track my teen daughter. Worked great for 8 months, speed and phone use. Now shows all drives as walking. Customer service keeps telling me she has turned off the driving detection. Shows the same on my phone which is never off. Poor customer service and will probably delete this app. Sad since it was great at 5 stars, now not worth 1/2 star.
I usually stay awake longer than my girl, but one night I fell asleep really early. What should've been a non-issue almost became a relationship-stopper when my paranoid girlfriend kept checking the app and kept seeing my avatar move around my area. She thought I was speaking and seeing some other girls, even though I literally don't talk to anyone else besides her.
In the end, when she was finally about to break up and hang up on me, I got a notification from my Galaxy Watch, that displayed how long I had been sleeping for and showed it to her. It was because of this that she finally relented and believed me. Be very careful with this app.
Called customer service since I cannot now turn off the crime dots. They could not help me, I wrote a bad review now the program will not even track one of my family members. It is full of bugs. Although when and if it works its great!
Parents, do NOT download this app. If your kids are learning to drive and they get in an accident, Life360 will sell this information to insurance companies and your child's insurance will be higher than it should be. It also does not show the right location. You could be at work and it will say you're 30 minutes away or something. For me, when my mother goes to work, around the time she arrives at WORK, it says she's arrived at HOME and vice versa. It's honestly a very bad app. Don't Download It!
The app Life360 works well. As a female who travels alone worldwide, the app makes it easy for my family to know exactly where I am. If something were to happen to me, there is a shot that I can be found. My teen has the app too. When his car broke down in the middle of the night, we were easily able to find him and help.
We do not use the app as a way to spy on each other but instead as a way to stay safe or help one another.
Got this app because I thought it would be good for safety. Then I found myself checking up on my bf of 2 years. Turns out it was showing him up in places in he claimed he was never in. Also, showed him he was turning his phone on and off. We have had numerous heated discussions regarding this and now I have a hard time trusting him. I love him and want to trust him! Guess this app is not a good one for us. Don't use this app because it gives unreliable information. Trying to get my $60 refunded. Julie
I think this is a horrible app because now parents think it's a good idea to force their kids to get it and spy on them. Build trust with your kids, this app invades your privacy too much and I'm sure having it would feel like you are being watched 24/7 which you basically are. It tracks your location at all times, how much time you're there and keeps it in your history so other (usually parents) can see everything you do.
This app does not allow for teens to experience the freedom that they need to learn. While sharing locations could be a matter of safety, Life360 shares needless details about the activity of teens, and therefore, impedes on their privacy and liberty.
This app worked well for several weeks, but now it's just berserk! It updates randomly (but not very frequently), and indicates impossible locations, like, in the middle of a road at midnight, when he's standing right in front of me in the kitchen! Right now, the app shows my son as being in our home - but he is at least 15 miles away. In addition, the app has not updated for 9 hours, so it's pretty worthless. I'm going to have to cancel it...
This app is great, my only problem is that it keeps sending me notifications of other members arriving and leaving a location when they are with me in the same room. This never happened when we first installed it but then it started to have glitches
I drive a lot for work and this app helped me feel more safe because I knew my boyfriend could track my whereabouts if needed. We had gotten the new driver report upgrade and after I had gotten home that day my boyfriend asked what I had been doing on my phone while driving... I told him nothing. I ignored some messages and adjusted my maps app. That's it. I even showed him my recent calls and texts. A few day later we decided to try it out while running an errand and I had done the same type of things I had done that day on my phone - Those actions didn't get recognized by the app. Talk about causing major trust issues here. It also doesn't show location properly and will say I stayed at a location longer than I did. This app just keeps getting worse.
Daniel F and Gary K said most of the problems I'm having. Me and my husband have it for safety reasons but also because I can get really paranoid. I noticed it would jump to a random location and notify me that he left and would take minutes to go back to where he actually is. Fix the app then maybe I'll come back.
Answer: It shows accurate time just a wrong location...
