This app is the worst thing you could've created. With the understanding that the app was designed to ensure the safety and protection of loved ones in emergency situations, it also guarantees an undesirable round of questioning. Having to download this app as a senior in high school and continue to to be demanded to remain on the app as a 21 year old college student, one could see my frustration. Constantly being asked "where are you?", "why are you there?", "why were you at this location for x hours?!" can deteriorate a relationship due to the bombardment of interrogative questions and ever so growing environment of distrust. If my parent says they trust me then why ask a myriad questions concerning my where abouts? In conclusion, do not believe the rating I give this app because if there were an option to give it 0 stars, I would with no remorse.
At what point does it end? A site I thought was made to help parents maintain parental control yet whining children who apparently have something to hide pitch a fit and therefore a service I pay for no longer provides what they advertise. The fact my children are on 360 with me means they are allowed to do more because I can feel safe in knowing their status and surroundings. Alot can happen and go wrong in a 10 mile radius. Life 360 has become nothing more than a disappointment that has fallen victim to screaming toddlers.
You can tell which reviews are written by the kids trying to get the app banned. The review starts out saying it ruins the relationship with parents then says they ARE the parent. One says it sells your information to the government. As if the government needs to buy that information OR would use an app to get it... LMAO. Multiple reviews contradicting itself one sentence after the previous. My kids learned how to used the app to their favor. They said they never felt spied on because we didn't use it like that. My husband and I only used it when the kids texted us to say they needed a ride and didn't know the address. We decided as a family to participate and no one was forced. Ridiculous to say that an app ruins relationships.
We had this app since my kids were elementary so I could see they arrived at school safely and around time to arrive at home so I Prepared them, my husband was in China in business trip, he lost where he was so we could call texi where he was. It helped us let us know that we are ok. This world is not as safe as used to i was growing-up, better safe than sorry. I like this app and hope I keep this as long as i live.
Basically i use this with my friends and it is honestly one of the best ways to keep track of each others with how things are in the world right now & just makes us feel safe!
Alway can locate the members and the pin didn't move even members moved to somewhere …………………………………..
If I could give zero stars I would! The CEO is on TikTok trying to teach kids how to hide their locations from their parents! That is not okay at all! Parents should know where their kids are at all times for safety reasons! This app is crap!
Doesn't work all the time. I keep turning my spouses phone to "always" so tracking should work. It does not. Keeps reverting to another setting. UNRELIABLE. Cant get any response from the company on how to solve issue. Onto another app.
We signed up when they allowed up to 5 locations without charge went in to replace them because of changes in our life. Of course this meant deleting one of our five to add a new location. Once it was deleted, another one could not be added in its place. No warning of this was provided at all. After thinking maybe we did something wrong, now we only have two locations. They knew this would happen and provided no information that it would. While I was thinking of getting a paid plan that thought is gone. This is a dirty way to do people imo. Beware. There is no transparency in their processes.
My parents used life 360 to track my location and ensure I was where I said I was. On multiple occasions, the app would show on their end that I was on different ends of town and it even said I was in a different state. This caused unnecessary panic for my parents as well as myself as I had to endure harsh criticism and receive punishment from my parents for "lying" to them.
Called for roadside assistance, using their button/number in the app. Was on hold for over 30 minutes and when the call was answered, they said that we had the wrong number. So two of us us clicked the button/number in the app to try to get someone else to help. We finally got through after being on hold again for awhile and the guy was not helpful at all. He sounded like he was just waking up or not used to taking roadside assistance calls. He kept asking the same questions over and over again. Name, cell number, make/model/color of the vehicle, which tire was flat, were we in an open/safe area, did we want to be towed, was someone in the vehicle, did someone in the vehicle have a key to the vehicle, oh and my favorite-he asked us to give him the name/number of a local tow yard that we wanted him to contact. What the heck? L would slow down and speak and he would pause and ask the same questions all over again, saying that he needed the answers to complete his work order. I asked him for his name and/or employee number because he was not helping us at all. He ignored the question and asked one of the questions that he'd already asked - again. It was very frustrating, to say the least. Long story short, we stayed on the phone with this guy for over 17 minutes and never got any help at all. He even kept asking us where we were. We the highway sign to him and asked why he couldn't see the location on the app and he was short, impatient and kept saying that he would have to get a response via text to get the location. We were in a good service area and we never got the text from him and we finally just hung up. He called back and still the same, we ended up not getting any help at all with this guy. He made the roadside assistance from Life360 seem like a joke. I cancelled my subscription and I will not be renewing it. As a matter of fact, I would like a refund!
It is the worst app you could possibly put out there. It causes horrible family issues and is straight up the most unuseful thing ever. Take it down please. Thanks. 0/10 stars.
Myself, my husband and my parents all downloaded the app. We wanted an app that could help us see if the others made it safely to work and home. My parents live with my husband and I. My mom and I both drive company vehicle and drive all day for work. So it's nice to be able to check in on eachother to make sure we're safe. I recommend this app to everyone! Don't get it just to make sure you're s/o isn't cheating or to catch someone doing something wrong. No that's pathetic. Get it if you want to use it for it's intended purpose! SAFETY! And I feel way safer knowing that my husband and parents know exactly where I am at all times!
I have had this app for a year, i have loved the fact I can keep track of my teenagers but now it's saying I have to pay to see where there are... this is nonsense. Y give parents the security of knowing there kids are safe and now we have to all of a sudden pay to know there safe i guess I will get rid of this app.
Allows me to keep up with my teenage daughter due to safety concerns and the uncertainties of the world today. There is too much going on not to know where your kids are.
This app actually induces depression on teens and whoever created it is a terrible person with no respect for privacy.
This app invades everyone's privacy, what happened to parent-child trust? The app doesn't even work! My daughter was at home next to me and the location said she was 8 miles away. I have officially deleted the app and our relationship has gotten so much better. There are so many better ways to know where your child is without having a tracking device.
THis app has disappointed me again and again. Those pesky teenagers keep finding hacks for it. Thanks for your time
Your parents should not i repeat should not be able to track you it's an invasion of privacy my 18 year old brother was forced to put it on and so was i we were threatened if we don't put it on we get our phones taken away
Answer: It shows accurate time just a wrong location...
