This is an excellent app for getting jobs online and also an excellent platform for getting online work and jobs the best feature is that this is an excellent platform to promote your business online
I've been a LinkedIn user for quite some time and have spent years building my connections. Recently, my account was hacked, and when I reached out to LinkedIn for help, they responded by sending a password reset link. Unfortunately, this reset link was sent directly to the hacker. I then received several emails, one notifying me that my password had been reset, followed by another saying that my two-step verification had been changed, and finally, one stating that my name had been altered. LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, essentially handed my account over to the hacker. If you are a business or someone seeking work, I would caution against using LinkedIn, as their support is extremely poor, and it seems easier for hackers to gain access to accounts than for legitimate users to recover them.
Best site where we can manage our professional identity. Build and engage with our professional network. Access knowledge, insights and lot of opportunities.
Why does my account get blocked from time to time,
In case I chat with say 10 friends at a time my account is blocked,
We should be given the freedom to chat with as many connections as you want,
This is really pathetic service from Linkedln and if this continues people will stop using it,
No matter how many times I upload my identity proof you guys keep asking the same question again and again,
Do something to resolve this issue.
Information that you find on Linkedin can be really useful, but there's no way to check if what says there is really truth. For some people that I know, I know for sure that it isn't.
Best site For business owners, I am really happy to write about this website. It increases my business ROI with having so much connection of my client i found from this web site only.
I only put the truth out there and linkedin blocked me. I guess the American companies are all gone. I will be removing my information from linkedin. BYE BYE linkedin.
Tip for consumers:
Becareful. They can block you at anytime and they give no warning. I thought I could trust linkedin to do real business.

Definatly one of the best services if you are looking for a new job. Manage to obtain good business contacts. Manage your professional identity. This is the best Business Promotion site.
Many features of the website is broken. Specifically, search is completely non-functional. I think the idea is good but the implementation not that much.
Its annoying that the most reputed professional website is allowing even drivers to become members in Linkedin and they are able to contact high profile people which is strongly objectable. Also the professionalism of the website becomes a question mark when such people are accomodated in the website which is able to get worldwide reach and excellent networking methods. Some preliminary quality should be maintained in accomodating people in becoming members. I HAVE QUIT LINKEDIN
Linkedin is a good site for searching job. Here we get good jobs adds. And get good jobs. It's a v good site. People take advantage there. So join this and be happy.

I canceled my premium subscription and few months later realized that they charged me for few months and didn't even send billing email- shame on them!
After 10 years of loyal use of LinkedIn without issue, I have just had my Linkedin Account permanently deleted. I have even been responsible for bringing in SalesNav to several different businesses, arguably to the tune of tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds...
This was due to too many profile views, which seems unfair as social selling is part of my job. I even asked and got authorization from my manager for SalesNav in my new role so this wouldn't happen. There was no automation software used as LinkedIn has tried to claim.
They have taken my money for Linkedin Sales Nav and banned me on the same day, I have been told I am now permanently restricted with no ground for appeal. The fact there is no one you can speak to directly is a joke, completely unprofessional and unaccountable decision-making process.
You cant even appeal or make complaints without access to LinkedIn, I have been treated like dirt throughout the whole process. Even asking for my passport as proof of verification seems massive breach of privacy.
I desperately need my account for my work, this not only impacts the job security of my current role but my future career prospects. Despite saying I will do my utmost to ensure I will abide by LinkedIn's TCs going forward, I have been told this restriction will remain in place.
After ten years of being a brand advocate, I will no longer be recommending LinkedIn sales nav or other Linkedin tools for any future company I join...
I posted a comment from the fda and cdc website directly contradicting the hyped up vax. 100% facts about phyzer refusing to push the vax in any country they will be held liable for deaths. This totally contradicting there repirts that its 100% safe.
Linked in locked my account, and are refusing to release if i dont send my photo id. Ive had my account since linkedin opened so they know its not a fake account. Do to filing bk in 2016 due to id theft i refused to send anyone in in other countries my personal info. Linked in is only trying to force this so they can permanently lock your accounts. (Look at all the reviews regarding them requesting id) hell my personal cell number is on my profile. Linked in has become another conservative nazi and i am now in talks with my attorney to file suit against them as linked in is how i stay intouch with clients as well as contractors.
Linked in needs to be stopped deleted facebook for this exact same reason.
Linkedin you better release my account immediately
I tried the "free" 30 day Premium subscription & cancelled well within the 30 day deadline. However, because I had been required to provide my payment information, LinkedIn nonetheles
LinkedIn might have a lot of similarities to Facebook when it comes to the search engine, messaging, even the timeline, but if you're trying to get yourself out there - LinkedIn is a good place for it. You're likely going to find groups that cater to your specific area, people who have the same job as you that you can connect with, and so much more.
I've connected with many people on LinkedIn as I'm an Open Networker and have found it to be quite enjoyable. I've posted in groups, shared links, told people about myself and heard some stories of how other people operate, and more. I've even made a few friends on there.
Now with that said be careful of who you talk too. Lots of people I've noticed will send you a sales pitch, and will be focused on trying to make a commission off of you instead of getting to know more about you. Some people will even try to scam you with fake job ads - promising you lucrative salaries, all expenses paid for, but sadly those aren't going to happen. Not unless you got an official message from a reputable company saying that. Does the term "419 scammer" ring a bell? They're scattered throughout LinkedIn. Luckily people can detect them more and more, but they can still slip through the cracks.
Overall this gets 4/5. A good place to showcase your skills, talking a bit about yourself, and opens you up to a plethora of opportunities. Even the simplest of things like networking can be great since you're opening yourself up to new people and new ideas. The new layout of the site stunk quite a lot though, but most people seem to have adjusted to that.
I never really jumped on the LinkedIn bandwagon, but have been using it recently to find "passive" job candidates. The service seemed to work pretty well, except you can't really contact anyone outside of your immediate network unless you pay for that privilege. That is one of the primary ways they get you to upgrade to a "premium" account.
Sadly, LinkedIn is like all the other consumer-unfriendly subscription-based services out there --- they try very hard to get you to subscribe, rely on the fact that you forget about your subscription, and make it *very* difficult to unsubscribe. Subscribing is as easy as clicking a nice, shiny button. But unsubscribing is nearly impossible. After 15 minutes of clicking around the site and researching the issue on the internet, it turns out you have to (1) go to a special page where you must (2) message a member of the customer support staff and (3) request and wait for your subscription to be canceled!
I was successful at getting a response within a few days. But my request for a refund for this month's unused subscription (I explained that I wasn't going to use the service this month and that I had simply forgotten about the subscription) was addressed with a simple copy-and-paste of the terms of service, which states the customer is charged unless he/she cancels ahead of time. Yes, I understand those are the official terms and they are legally protected, but why should a customer be charged for an unused service? LinkedIn really needs to learn a thing or two about customer service, instead of milking each customer for as much money as possible.
I have used LinkedIn every day for a decade at this point and am one of the top activity generators. Recentlly LinkedIn has begun charging more and limiting access, now cutting you off if a % of users don't respond to your InMails to them within a finite period of time. LinkedIn has made a mint off me and my clients as I teach internal recruiting firms how to best use social media, sites, and other tactics. At this point it seems LinkedIn has become way too full of themselves and I for one will stop using their service and recommend my clients stop using their services, so I'll stop the flow of cash - if they cut me off from communicating to users of the system. Such a subjective way of quantifying responses - some that I InMail I'm certain don't even have their email address hooked up to their LinkedIn profile so that's why a large % don't respond. And, those who don't respond today, usually respond in the future - keeping my name on file - it's happened and it's real. Stupid people making these rules do not understand their own business! Does anyone have a different LinkedIn type service yet? Can't wait for it to come about - users will mass exodus...
Tip for consumers:
Limited window of time before this one tanks due to their latest games and rules and policies literally barring paying users from receiving the services they pay for. Dumb move for the long term business model.
This PERSON THE core100.com or shantom or anything that introduce him self is a big SCAM HE WILL NEVER NEVER DELIVER YOU THE SERVICES THAT YOU NEED OR A WEBSITE AS MUCH FRIENDLY HE WILL BE AT THE BEGINNING
I have the free pkg and it helps to expand my network internationally. However I wouldn't use the premium version; for what it offers, there just isn't sufficient value in it.
Can you explane why you depleted London real page and Brian Ross profile
How you are to do that? Another company to regulated what we can watch and what we can't
I've been using LinkedIn Recruiter for over 15 years now and it's sad to see what was once a game changer for recruiting high in demand talent has now been diminished to a very average at best solution, which frankly is way overpriced. InMail response rates have continued to drop, year after year, and now to make things even worse, LinkedIn came up with the brilliant idea of of banning recruiters from doing bulk InMails if their InMail Response Rates fall below 13%. Now for many Recruiters working on your fairly routine to fill hiring needs, that's not an issue, however for those highly skilled Recruiters specializing in finding your unicorns and purple squirrels of the software industry, this is becoming a big problem. Average response rates for these recruiters often falls below this mark. In such cases LinkedIn gives Recruiters a warning the first time and puts them on a 14 day no bulk InMail punishment period for the second offense. If it's not bad enough that all the work involved in researching these crazy difficult to find targets nets extremely low response rates, now LinkedIn is further eroding our Recruiter's productivity by taking away the ability to InMail batches of people at one time. Mind you, this is taking away a critical feature that my company has already paid for. LinkedIn is blaming everything on the Recruiters and not taking any ownership of the problem themselves, which is very frustrating to say the least. So bottom line, if you've got very difficult to fill hiring needs, LinkedIn Recruiter might not be the best solution out there any longer.
I had to go on Disability 12 years ago. Up until that time, I had been an RN with a BSN and Infection Prevention/Control certification for 10 years. I had much experience in both Oncology in many different settings, and later in Infection Prevention/Control and Quality and knowledge of Accreditation requirements, areas that were somewhat unique. So I made my profile and became involved in LinkedIn. I was able to connect with other business and healthcare personnel through this site. After I became disabled and had to retire from nursing, I didn't use LinkedIn much, but they still connected with me. I found out when connections got promotions, so I could congratulate them, I saw where long time peers worked and could access them, and mainly, even now (almost 4 times a week!) I find out that people have looked at my profile as they search for people to fill positions! In fact, this past 12 months, my profile has been checked 3-4 times a week, even though I state perfectly clear that I'm retired due to disability! So to those who are still out there working, you can be assured that employers and personnel departments and recruiters ARE checking you out! That is VERY GOOD if you are looking for job/career opportunities. On the other hand, some of the job opportunities I get are nothing that I'd either qualify for nor want! However, if I was looking for a new position, from what I see in my LinkedIn, and the times I'm checked out, I would definitely become a LinkedIn member, which is free.
The trolls ban your account by reporting you and then it takes forever to prove you are you. LinkedIN is one of those media companies that are incompetent. It was great under the former CEO. Roslansky has no ability to be wise or discerning.
I don't have a voice anymore. Who in America has a voice anymore?
Cyberbullies are winning again.
How is politics, my name plus my last initial, and my real companies not a real account? If I want to state the truth about what my store manager did to me, then I get to do so. There are really mean people in this world and the victims get to state the truth and how angry we get about it. I get really tired of being a punching bag for other people. It's why I chose 'activism' for my LinkedIN platform and to show people in oppressed countries to keep fighting against horrific odds. People want to shut them up!
Then, initially I was getting no information from LinkedIN on what was happening and was going in circles trying to access anything and started threatening legal action! I legit think LinkedIN was gaslighting me with Captchas moving around on me so I couldn't rejoin LinkedIN. Because I selected the correct way up and it said I did not. I'm not stupid or blind.
Tip for consumers:
They bully people.

I recently posted a job on Linkedin. It cost my small business $150 and only received 2 unqualified applicants. Frankly, Ive gotten better results on Craigslist for a fraction of the price. But, that's not really the issue. I stopped the Linkedin add after 3 weeks and then tried to delete my credit card account. The delete' link is extremely hard to find, and after I finally found it, it wouldnt let me delete my credit card info even after the job post was closed and completely paid. There is no support number to call, only an email support link. Their stupid site keeps giving me inaccurate help information to resolve the issue. It feels like Linkedin is holding my credit card information hostage!
After multiple emails to their LinkedIn Customer Support, the last message I received was, " I wish I had an immediate resolution for you. This particular issue will need to be escalated to our internal research team. I understand this may be frustrating but as soon as I get an update, I'll let you know. Seriously? Im sure this could have been taken care of a week ago with one phone call.
LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft. You may have heard, they make a lot of money. Too bad they cant afford a Linkedin customer service represtitive you can reach by phone! Oh, but they do have sales reps you can talk too immediately. UNACCEPTABLE! After I delete my credit card, I will delete my Linkedin account! Theyve waisted too much of my time on their incompetent website!
