This is an excellent app for getting jobs online and also an excellent platform for getting online work and jobs the best feature is that this is an excellent platform to promote your business online
I've been a LinkedIn user for quite some time and have spent years building my connections. Recently, my account was hacked, and when I reached out to LinkedIn for help, they responded by sending a password reset link. Unfortunately, this reset link was sent directly to the hacker. I then received several emails, one notifying me that my password had been reset, followed by another saying that my two-step verification had been changed, and finally, one stating that my name had been altered. LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, essentially handed my account over to the hacker. If you are a business or someone seeking work, I would caution against using LinkedIn, as their support is extremely poor, and it seems easier for hackers to gain access to accounts than for legitimate users to recover them.
Linked in is the WORST when it comes to customer service. There is no clear way to contact them and when you do, they come across very aloof like they're doing you a favor. I would like to use Linked in again but honestly I wish there were another platform! There seems to be no way to contact them unless you're on their platform.
Tip for consumers:
poor customer service

Very bad, they rip you off with very expensive premium fees, and you only get scammers all the time contacting you. Spent 9 years on linkedin, not even one single sale or client came. And also they block your account without any reason. Total tyrants and fake product, 0 results.
It's arguably the best social network for recruiting. Plus if you have a corporate account you can post some essential information about the company and its changes.
Anyways it is a must have for all the job seekers and entities.
Three times now I have experienced jobs posted on LinkedIn that the original recruitment company had no idea were on there. Turns out Linkedin have been scrapping data from other recruitment sites & posting that data/positions on their platform. One of the positions they advertised (illegally) took 30 minutes for me to complete the application. A complete waste of my time as the position was never available, so I found out. It had been filled 6 months prior to me applying! Highly unethical & shameful Linkedin!
This training course offered by Intellipaat, is very comprehensive (Lots of content, practice exercises for the real word), not to mention the expert instructions and kind efficient support team. I definitely undeserving recommends all intellipaat training courses to all who wants to take their IT skills to a higher level.
I believe LinkedIn is time well spent and a fantastic resource for job searching and professional networking. It has proven to be very beneficial for me and has given me the opportunity to meet and expand my social circle once you get comfortable with it and learn how to weed out the bad and scammers.
Even if you are not actively looking for work, creating a profile on LinkedIn is a great way to get your resume noticed by employers. It keeps you in touch with both former and present coworkers. You can sign up for a free account on LinkedIn, and important people frequently search through resumes and applicants, so even if you're employed, your application is still there and you still have a chance to land your dream job because more and more employers are now using standardised online applications, which increases your likelihood of being hired. LinkedIn also gives you the resources to research the companies before the interview, which is another benefit. You may.
Tip for consumers:
The LinkedIn app has been enhanced with LinkedIn Jobs.

My account has over 6,000 connections and we hire people using linkedin. They maliciously locked my account for 3 weeks and gave no explanation except there is a security issue. No phone to call, emails and dms go unanswered. First time I've ever been locked out of anything. Terrible experience, someone is about to lose their job over this. Lawsuits are next.
Steven Glaze Kansas City established construction manager and home improvement specialist. He started in the industry at an early age working for his fathers roofing company as an estimator right out of high school and through college.
Platform has changed frequently and is now more cumbersome for recruiters to the point of becoming irrelevant. Too many glitches/technical issues and no results. Only interested in talking when renewals are due or there is money to be made. We already pay more than is valuable anymore. Do not recommend LinkedIn recruiter - find an alternative.
I found most of the job opportunities which resulted in int reviews on LinkedIn. Also very good resource from professional networking perspective. Nothing better out there. And info feed is getting quite good too.
It seems LI have started to pay people to give good reviews, so time to redress the issue with another well deserved 1 star review.
This is a recalcitrant company who will refuse to delete your data and have the attitude of sue us!
See my earlier post on bait and dox for some insight as to how their poorly managed site operates today.
Absolutely no point wasting your time with these parasites!
Tip for consumers:
Delete and forget!
Fond out this company had a breach June 2012. I was never notified as I should have been! Found out this info on credit karma website. I cannot post photo of this as my email address and partial password is shown, however, I will rewrite word for word what is states:
'In 2012, more than 6.5 million linkedin user passwords were breached an posted onto an online crime forum - but that was just he tip of the iceberg. Four years later, linkedin discovered more than 117 million email and password combinations from that breach on the dark web. Even if you don't use your linkedin account anymore, it's important to take steps to protect the info that was exposed.'
These sites need to be financially penalized as this is a atrocity. When will these pathetic companies learn?
Nice place to maintain and get work. I am glad that I made an account with LinkedIn. Employers can easily look in my profile which is important nowadays. No more need to submit CV and other data about me.
Though a great site to network overall, the site is run by liberals who it's their way or nothing. I would only recommend this site for possible networking but not for job hunting and definitely don't share your opinion of you are a conservative.

This is how it should be done folks: beautiful UI, free premium trial and no hard selling. Get some education with their learning platform; get some visibility with their easy application button; find better candidates with their skills matching system.
Created the account years ago, but was blown away on seeing the new additions. Way to go. Keep up the good work!
Its like part of social responsibility to have LinkedIn account... or maybe it was really focused on business networking with less force to move to over priced paid plan or job posts... and it become full of spam. Its like (pay for premium account and you can make other users lives miserable though directly texting others viewing their info and much more... and whats annoying is how some people use it as Facebook wall posting anything and nothingness... i got LinkedIn cause need to have in business card... i dont open it much or even relay on it to look up for candidates or look for potential leads... i just accept add requests every once in a while
I had a long term account that was hacked into and deleted. Notified LinkedIn but after several weeks not a single response from them. It appears customer support isn't important to them. Shameful. Worst customer support I've ever dealt with.

They are now worse than Facebook for censoring people. You get banned for nothing at all, if it annoys the moronic moderators who seem to be deficient of actual education. There is no point to LinkedIn, since all of the jobs advertised are Entry Level, and the employers ghost the applicants. Close down your account with them. Just walk away!
Tip for consumers:
Just don't do it.
Steven Glaze Kansas city is prepared, detail-orientated, diligent and extremely responsive as a popular contractor and outdoors expert. His hallmark is services oriented sports, exquisite first-rate of production, an obvious shopping for experience, rapid of completion and shipping at low charges.
This company cares nothing about its customers or users. They will not work with you and will happily tell you they cannot assist you. They have been improperly charging me for months. When I finally caught these improper charges, LinkedIn refused to refund me. I have been using their platform for over ten years, but they said they could not help me on a $300 dollar error in their system. Sadly, this platform is used by many professionals, so you may not have a proper alternative. However, it is a bad company that does not treat its customers and users fairly, and is the stereotypical company that puts $$$$ over people. Their customer service is straight out of a random seller on EBay from 2002.
LinkedIn pretty much rocks~
You have to pay attention to a couple of things, otherwise it can provide you with all kinds of great connections if you're in business:
1. DISABLE the "Public Profile"
2. Don't get into too much drama with the discussion groups
3. Make sure you take the time to explore all that it has to offer.
I would definitely recommend this site. You can also find great job availability and even make a few friends along the way. A large number of the guys in my industry are on here and I love the new products posts and other insider stuff I find.
We subscribed to LinkedIn's "premium" services for businesses, and I have to say it's a bit of a racket--their billing is recurring and it is very very difficult to cancel. We could not figure out how to cancel OR contact customer service on my own. Eventually we had to Google "how to downgrade my linkedin account" and then follow a convoluted set of steps to send an email message to request a downgrade. If they don't respond to the request quickly I'll be lowering my rating to below a "Meh." Bad showing LinkedIn. You clearly care more about taking my money than the service you're providing. You've just lost a fan.
Same as everyone else.
They keep bugging you to try premium to the point where they make it hard to function on your normal account.
They say it's free, but apparently I have done a "free" trial before so charged me $240 straight away.
They don't respond to your emails and go silent, so they can pocket the cash.
