This is an excellent app for getting jobs online and also an excellent platform for getting online work and jobs the best feature is that this is an excellent platform to promote your business online
I've been a LinkedIn user for quite some time and have spent years building my connections. Recently, my account was hacked, and when I reached out to LinkedIn for help, they responded by sending a password reset link. Unfortunately, this reset link was sent directly to the hacker. I then received several emails, one notifying me that my password had been reset, followed by another saying that my two-step verification had been changed, and finally, one stating that my name had been altered. LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, essentially handed my account over to the hacker. If you are a business or someone seeking work, I would caution against using LinkedIn, as their support is extremely poor, and it seems easier for hackers to gain access to accounts than for legitimate users to recover them.
I managed to contact many HR and head hunters from all over the world thanks to this site.
Got a few contacts that helped me a lot after I got my certificates and overall a very good experience
I have used linkedin for long time and it is too much costly instead we have started using esyconnect.com much easy way to post a job and its completely free
I love visiting this site in terms of business because most times, it will connect you to your target audience making it easier to hook you up. It is just good for business match-making.
I made an account here because a company that I tried to apply to work for decided that it was MANDATORY to insert a LinkedIn profile in the application. Ever since I made one, I disabled communications on it, and yet coincidentally, I've been receiving job spam on my email consistently. I have to unsubscribe them to stop.
Prior to making an account, I used to get email from people saying they want to connect despite me not ever having an account on LinkedIn. Not only was this annoying, but it didn't make me feel that great about LinkedIn to begin with. Even after making the account, I feel like it has absolutely no use. I'm giving a third party all this information about myself. I like my manual resume and I don't like LinkedIn.
I still kept the account because (1) everywhere asks for it and (2) yes, there are some pros about LinkedIn. Despite being a seemingly failed version of Facebook, it still provides connects to possibly employment. I've seen many places hiring (relating to my field!) However, I wouldn't pay to use this website.
I have applied so many jobs from linkedin that recommended my fit and all those job I applied didn't even fir my profile. It's a useless app to applied jobs. Seek is better outcome.
Business increase the lot of chance and support to whole family. Business man can handle the all matters easily and understand the all norms of business
I wrote comment about my college new policy about vaccines mandate, and they deactivate my account. They became Nazi organization, such a disgrace for modern times!
Lost my account of 10 years and refuse to contact me back about it. Claim I can access it when I can't. Why would I lie about that?!? Incompetent fools.
I really love linkedin. It is actually where I find some clients and it is pretty much to use. I'll be saving the 5 star reviews for some new updates!
Apparently I filled out my profile like an All Star/Expert already way back. That wasn't the hard part or even wanting to get endorsed or anything (how do I remove "cast stone" endorsement from there?) Recently I think I'm eligible to even use video to share whatever it is I have to share? Likely to communicate with all the connections I'll ever make even years later to thank them of a single purchase if I'm bored or connecting with some old fling. Finding opportunities or a job, well I wouldn't pay a service for that I'd trust my own skills to apply to jobs. Firms are taking LinkedIn resumes in somewhat already implementing it. Curious to see how it changes from since when I first joined when I was still a "handicraft worker"/unemployed. I have so little work experience and I'm thirty but instructions - I'm good at following them. Trial and error and learning from those... evolve, and grow. Don't really mean to write an essay I'm just still baffled how they won best job search, category.
Hello all, my name is Ramanath, i have joined Linkedin since 6 years and i love this. 1st website that professional where you can got jobs and got projects.
I've received lots if spam email from them. They seem to believe that signing up is an invitation to spam you. Plus they try to limit viewing content unless you are logged in.
Tip for consumers:
Use a secondary email you don't need if you are signing up to view a profile. Expect lots of incoming spam.
With the existence of LinkedIn, one is able to create a grandiose image of themselves to the world where one's list of achievements is the main measure of one's alleged greatness. But it is only fair to allow the full story of a person be known, especially when they possess such ruthless and craven attributes as does David W Compton, CEO of Alamo Fireworks. One will notice from his illustrious resume that he was at Journal Register Co for only two years. This tenure was shortly before the company closed all its weekly newspapers, one of which I served as editor. There is no doubt that David W Compton is a hatchet man and one doesn't need to be a brain trust to be a hatchet man. He was brought in to purge the division of it's employees in any way he could, no matter how unethical, no matter how brazen and no matter how fraudulent. In my case, I had brought a complaint to the state labor department against one of my employees who had committed plagerism. With a gross indifference of my case due to the dissolution of the weekly newspapers, upper management ignored it and David W Compton actually used it against me. The company offered me a meager settlement, which I refused, and the case was later heard without me for I was never notified of that resolution hearing. That, I believe, was purposely arranged by the company under the guidance of David W Compton. I have submitted this review only to round out the truth about this man who boldly displays his megalomania in LinkedIn. It's just truth in advertising.
After a decade I closed my account they restricted my account for no reason nor explanation. I had enough of their political narrative not professionals! They turned into crap.
I'm in love with this website! I found a really well-paid job with its help. Besides, I found many good people who become best friends after a while ;)
30% Useful 70% Disappointing.
My account got restricted w/out any explanations. I pay for me to avail a Premium but my new account get restricted again & again. ******!
Linkedin is the web with the best means to establish business cooperation. I like this website because it could be opening the way for a business that I have.
Linkedin may be the worst social site around. Why you might ask would I say this? Let's look at what I see since they were acquired by Microsoft Corp., a company with poorly made products and terrible technology.
They are cheap and get infected constantly. They have the worst support of any company online today, and most people don't use their programming language anymore, with only 7.7% of sites using it. Finally, most people prefer stability, and Microsoft Corp. is far from that.
So they purchased LinkedIn, and things started breaking that shouldn't. Our posts have disappeared, yet our competitors are still working as a developer; that shouldn't be the case as these are all controllers. I'm guessing the people at Microsoft don't understand PHP. They charge a ridiculously high fee for the premium account and yet give you nothing for it.
Their adverting costs are three to four times that of Facebook, and they are ten times smaller than Facebook. They think they are worth it, but I tried to advertise, and for $500, I received nothing. I ran an ad on Facebook and received a 7 percent response.
Everything about Linkedin is terrible. It is just another Facebook app. What once was a professional site has turned into how many likes or comments I can get. Microsft has destroyed this company in a short time, just like everything else they touch. Like their founder, they are brain dead and haven't a clue. Yeah, they believe that he is brilliant because Bill Gates invented this MANY years ago. No, it means he did it first, and now they are dead last with everything today.
Tip for consumers:
Just don't bother it is not a professional site anymore its just another Facebook clone.

Thanks to this site I found many people in my professional field and even got a new job in sales. I can say that building up a personal profile means a lot in this network.
Wow, has Linkedin Sales and Services gone down hill and quickly. Rigid unbending sales person and his supervisor was worse. Linkedin apparently no longer cares about their clients.
I like LinkedIn. I am able to find opportunities I have not been able to do. It is a simple and easy way of finding jobs and linking with them. I would recommend, definitely.

Linked is a very good website which allows employers search for your skill and all u need do is keep increasing your skill in your field of work and update on your profile.
I don't recommend. Been restricted many times. Awful website and stupid rules! When I wrote them a letter they didn't help me and ignored me. They don't care about customers.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it
