After 10 years of loyal use of LinkedIn without issue, I have just had my Linkedin Account permanently deleted. I have even been responsible for bringing in SalesNav to several different businesses, arguably to the tune of tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds...

This was due to too many profile views, which seems unfair as social selling is part of my job. I even asked and got authorization from my manager for SalesNav in my new role so this wouldn't happen. There was no automation software used as LinkedIn has tried to claim.

They have taken my money for Linkedin Sales Nav and banned me on the same day, I have been told I am now permanently restricted with no ground for appeal. The fact there is no one you can speak to directly is a joke, completely unprofessional and unaccountable decision-making process.

You cant even appeal or make complaints without access to LinkedIn, I have been treated like dirt throughout the whole process. Even asking for my passport as proof of verification seems massive breach of privacy.

I desperately need my account for my work, this not only impacts the job security of my current role but my future career prospects. Despite saying I will do my utmost to ensure I will abide by LinkedIn's TCs going forward, I have been told this restriction will remain in place.

After ten years of being a brand advocate, I will no longer be recommending LinkedIn sales nav or other Linkedin tools for any future company I join...

This ladybwho works for disney as a recruiter
Is a mean spirited judgemental prejudice individual.
She plays nice with workmates but to potential new hires she is horrible. She has been the reason so many applicants have been unfairly turned away from Disney. Shebis harsh(not stern) in decision making. I don't think disney is aware of how bad she treats potential newhires. She is discouraging and phony. Anita khan has told Lies to people based on their personal living conditions as a way to turn someone down for employment. She has stated to several applicants that EVERY disney has a car or good enough living condition in order to worknthere, which is a complete lie. She has told people there is no transportation throughout the property for worke6to get to another property if needed... which is also a complete lie. How is she still working with so many complaints. I think disney needs to get rid of that tyrant

My account was restricted for some reason. I contacted customer support three separate times to get my account unrestricted or at least know why my account was restricted.

After contacting their support, I was told it was because of a "misrepresented identity".

After elevation since that never happened, I was then told it wasn't because of a misrepresented identity, but they still wouldn't tell me why my account was restricted.

After I asked why they wouldn't tell me why my account was restricted, they said the privacy policy says they can't tell me (I read through the privacy policy multiple times, and there is nothing even somewhat referencing this, they directly lied to me). They refused to give me the location of this "policy" on the privacy policy when asked.

I have been trying to get in-touch with LinkedIn's legal team, but they have not responded or seem to mind that their customer support is making up legal information.

Neaseating in its fake perspective? Well, I used to work in engineering design in the oil industry. Since 2014 the industry world wide has been dessimated. Maybe 40 % of all people with no work, hundreds of thousands of people searching for some alternative thing to do with their lives. You would never guess it from browsing LinkedIn. Only posts about successfully completed projects along with photos of infrastructure and smiling faces. Business as normal. People constantly complaining that it's a professional discussion forum and not for chatter like Facebook. When it is pointed out that this concept has a prerequisite that people actually require to be in a profession, it goes over their heads like a Boeing 747. FAKE. OUT OF TOUCH REALITY FAKE. As for a mechanism for making professional contacts to reinvigorate job opportunities, forget it. Loads of Indian nationals posting " review my profile" in response to posts about completed projects by companies not seeking people.

I found LinkedIn to be a good professional service, however I was disappointed to find that my trial was automatically transferred to a premium membership and I was charged a monthly fee. I contacted their customer support and they were helpful in refunding the fee, however I found this to be a bit deceptive and so I have downgraded my 5 star rating

One of our competitors is using our URL on linked in and has established a business page for his business. All of the information on the page associated with our URL relates to the competing business and we are not able to establish a page ourselves because our URL is already being used.
Linked in do not consider this to be a copyright infringement and refuse to help resolve this issue.

Thanks so much for the non response "Fiona"

I work as a Recruiter and I need LinkedIn to perform my job. Our company uses LinkedIn and we pay THOUSANDS EVERY YEAR for their Enterprise services to Recruiters to find talent/candidates. And part of our jobs is to contact people using their InMail service and post jobs.

In February 2021, my colleague and I got restricted from LinkedIn. He was unrestricted, freed to use his account again, whereas I am not. LinkedIn claimed that we were sending spamming messages, but lots of Recruiters use their InMail service to send messages to potential candidates, so I don't know if their algorithm knows how to detect real spam. We both did the same things but only my LinkedIn account is still restricted/banned? Is this enough evidence to be considered unfair treatment? The other two colleagues in the past had been restricted but then unrestricted too.

Restricting my account resulted in thousands of job postings being taken down as well, hindering a lot of hirings and project deliverables to our clients back in February 2021.

Since I could not have that first account back, I created a second account because I need LinkedIn to work, recently my second account has been restricted without being told the reason. I did not send any messages to people I didn't know, didn't add anyone I didn't know. Their responses are vague, automated, and, utterly rude.

I would NOT recommend LinkedIn for anyone and especially companies looking for talent, since their customer service is INEFFICIENT and you will spend THOUSANDS for nothing.

Site is full of pretentious narcissists! IIt's literally Facebook for problematic corporate/career nutjobs! Mark Cogan has an interesting post on the topic ("LinkedIn Profile Rankings: Feeding Narcissism?"

Linkedin.com appears to be Liberal-controlled playing politics and Banning people without facts.
When facts are shared proving your case you may still be banned any belief to the contrary will have your account shut down. They have joined the Ranks of Fascistbook. I would not pay for their services and leave their platform. I was banned for posting a video of a vaccine-injured person trying to warn others of the dangers of the Covid 19 Vaccine. They tried to say the video is misleading. I posted VAERS reports back to them with backed up CDC data and they banned me.

LinkedIn allows fake profiles to remain on their platform. If someone steals someone's ID and starts to use their name to impersonate them, esp. Setting up a platform on LinkedIn. LinkedIn will not remove the profile. This happen to me. Someone, pretending to be me, is using my name without my consent. They have committed ID theft. This was reported to LinkedIn, and they did nothing. Their response is, " we respect the right of all members to freely express themselves. We don't monitor, filter, or remove member-generated content from our site unless they are inappropriate as defined in our User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. " This is their way of letting you know that someone stealing someone else ID and using the name to set up a profile on LinkedIn (basically steal someone's Identity). Isn't inappropriate for them (LinkedIn). The profiles on LinkedIn cannot be trusted as real, unless you know for sure the profile is of the person or business you believe they are portraying. Below is an example of a fake profile who has stolen and is using the name (identity) of someone else.

Mr. Daniel answered my phone call. I'm pleased by his attention and cordiality. I do appreciate politeness. He also speaks Spanish, I do give credit for that as well (my english is not that perfect, so I do appreciate this a lot!).
And he answered my request immediately. From my perspective it is a well deserved a 5/5 stars.
Have a great day and be safe.

Worst and scam
February 20, 2021

I have applied many jobs by paying a sum of AED 100 and applying for the jobs constantly. Being paid having capable qualifications linkedin still rejects my CV and send update that my cv has not listed. This is totally unfair. And also bugging and begging for premium. Once deposited linkedin becomes nightmare and plays a lot. I don't know what kind of qualifications linkedin looking for. Please stop cheating people and be a good service provider or close your website rather than cheating and playing innocents money.

This is essentially a flawed website, whoever has designed it, and like Parler needs to be banned.
There is a possibility there will be a bad outcome on this Linkedin website someday due to unlimited cyberbullying oppurtunity on this site with no regulations whatsoever.
I'm currently being cyberbullied daily on this website for past TWO YEARS by my co-workers.On the 'people's also viewed' section these sick and twisted individuals are displaying profiles daily such as hoo, frodsham, HIV, STDs.At one point hundreds and hundreds involved in this.

The police and HR can do nothing because Linkedin has given a platform where you dont need to mention the victim's name. A bunch of crooks can come together on this shady website and display unlimited amount of profiles, anytime of the day.
Linkedin to date has done nothing about this.
