Do not make the mistake of buying anything from this company. They send garbage with fake paperwork. I bought a ring that was apparently appraised at 1400 USD and its not worth even 200 CAN. Absolute trash company. Ignored my emails and attempts to contact them. Got BBB involved and they played the back-and-forth game saying they weren't getting my emails even though I attached copies of the email and BBB had emailed me saying the company has confirmed they see my messages. Nothing was done and I'm out a lot of money. Whoever owns this company deserves whatever karma comes to them. How they are allowed to still run a company shows me how broken our system is.
My experience with live auctioneers was ok until I won and had to pay. At first the site directed me to connect my bank account, reluctantly I did but it wouldn't process the payment, I tried this unsuccessfully several times.
Then when that didn't work they asked that I go to the companies site that was having the auction through liveauctioneers.com and have me pay there. I asked how this transaction would be tracked given there was no order number or invoice or tracking of any kind. They indicated that they had worked with them before and this is how it worked. So I went to the site and I was given an alert because my browser's security indicated it wasn't safe.
I told them to fix their site and I would pay, as I wasn't going to risk losing my account info for one auction. They never contacted me again. Now months later the auction company has sold the goods but the invoice remains and they won't close the account.
If they want to force me to use outside means to pay for an item, it should be trackable and secure. Liveauctioneers.com doesn't care.

This auction house is not legit they are selling fake duotone photos they say they are selling legit photography items from these famous photographers. Herb Ritts, Helmet Newton, Bruce Weber etc. All the photos they represent are scans from their published books and then turned into photos in which they turn around and sell stating that they are legit duotone photos which they are not because some of the photos that they are selling have never ever been sold to the public or has the gallery that represents them have ever printed them. Do not buy anything from this site
Dear Andy,
Thank you for your review and we are sorry for the negative experience you've had with our site.
As you might imagine, we take the integrity of the LiveAuctioneers platform extremely seriously and, so, investigate any and all reports of fraudulent behavior. While we certainly cannot police all lots for accuracy as there are millions of submissions of unique items, we have a zero fraud tolerance policy and will examine this issue thoroughly. Independent of our investigation, let me apologize to you for not providing you with the customer experience that we strive to deliver at LiveAuctioneers.
Regarding your concern, can you please email us at info@liveauctioneers.com with the specific item/s you are mentioning about so we can conduct an investigation but, also, more broadly look at the operating practices of the seller to ensure that its behavior complies with our standards regarding accuracy and transparency in listing descriptions and photos.
As you might imagine, as a technology provider, we lack the specific expertise on the wide variety of subject matter sold on our platform. If you have any information to support your claim that the item was misrepresented, can you send it our way to expedite our investigation? Obviously, the more details we get from an expert, the easier it is for us to make the decision to stop working with an auction house and/or to take other remedial action.
We hope you bid through LiveAuctioneers again!

You can absentee bid, but Live Auctioneers won't send it in. I recently lost an item this past weekend. I saw where the item had sold for an amount lower than my absentee bid. I called the auction house and they never got my bid. So what's the point in using this company.

I recently bought an item and when I got it home realized it had an undisclosed major structural defect that makes the item worthless. I contacted what turns out to be a 2nd rate incompetent auction house but got nothing but denial, stonewalling and victim playing, never owning up to their misrepresentation. They blatantly concealed this defect, even after I asked specific questions, they made up a quick 'fix' for a defect that can't be fixed. I contacted Liveauctioneers, they responded once, saying they're on it and I never heard from them again. They will allow this dishonest auction house to operate on their platform and will allow other bad auction houses to do the same. Liveauctioneers is a conduit for pirates to make large amounts of money by swindling trusting internet bidders. Liveauctioneers works for dishonest auction houses, end of story. Do not use them, there are other ways to get "stuff", because the stuff you'll get through this bidding platform probably isn't what you think you'll get, and also, you'll pay more for your bogus item.
Dear Suzy,

This site is in a near constant state of "Not Responding". How are these houses making a sale? I have tried every possible solution from my side. I am going to delete my connection with these people.
Hi Gregory,

We never sit in auctions, we vet items and bookmark them for advanc3d bidding.
We watched an item in the live auction, then left. Hours later we got a notice we won two hideous items we would NEVER buy. We immediately told the auctioneers because we knew them from a local auction 15 years ago.
We reached out to LiveAuctioneers.com but their Philippine reps did nothing to resolve our issue.
All computer transactions have trails that can trace a crime. They're ignoring our requests for administrator resolution.
They also sent out an errant invoice after we paid for shipping but left that off the receipt. They have yet to respond to our requests to correct my receipt.

They holding a auction on the basis of a kind having cancer trying to raise money and saying that particular items in there auctions has a authentic coa that the signatures are real which in fact the company who did the coa is out of business for the fact that they authentic fake signatures
Hello Joseph,
Thank you for the rating. Can you kindly advise which seller you are referring to please.

The terrible interface cannot remove phony auctions. The site does not, although they say you can, remove from seeing all those so-called auctions that are really dealers overpriced goods
Dear Louis,
Thank you for your review. Are you trying to stop notifications from specific sellers? Please email us at info@liveauctioneers.com so our team can assist.

They force you to use an account to pay and don't hold auctioneers responsible for anything. You basically cant dispute anything even if it takes months to get your order, or it comes damaged, or you dont even get it at all. Will never use again, because they offer no kind of guarantee.
Dear Brittany,
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience you had using our website. This is definitely not what we want our clients to go through. Can you please send an email to info@liveauctioneers.com so we can look further.
We hope to hear from you and assist you in the best way possible.

I placed my bid a week before the auction in Coral Gables Auctions (Dec 6,2022) started and received an email saying I was leading bid. I watched the auction live online and no one bid higher than mine so I took that meant I won. A few hours after the auction I received an email saying I lost out on the bidding, someone in-person bid higher than myself and what's troubling, their bid was the same as mine. Why was I notifed I was leading the bidder before auction started. Sounds very fishy to me and it leads me to believe liveauctioneers wanted someone else to win this item
Dear James,
Thank you for your review and for using our platform.
All sales are clerked by the sellers themselves, I am unaware of the lot so I can't write in detail about this lot but from what you explain, you got an email saying you were the leading bidder before the lot went live. Once a sale goes live, sellers have bidders from multiple platforms, floor bidders, phone bidders, etc and they will click sold to whoever bids the highest.
If you kindly email us the exact details of the lot (the number, title, sale date and auction house) we can certainly provide you with the transcript and review everything with you. We can be reached at info@liveauctioneers.com.

I bought a number of emeralds from Jasper 52 on Sept.7,2022.Paid for same.Did not receive them. They claimed took 2 months to get stone here. After that time they sd. Would send me back $ but would take 10 days.Still nothing.then found the 2 biggest emeralds lot no.0841 and 0078 were now listed as passed but the same detail shows this was sold to me and auction was no reserve.looked at billing statement and they no longer showed but the total was wrong. They gave me a tracking number which goes to India post RT******* that showed was delivered by USPS.The tracking number per USPS states a label was created, not in system.package never delivered to them. In my opinion this is fraud and theft by Jasper 52 and LiveAuctioneers.
Jasper 52
The stone in the audition photo was a bright blue sapphire. See photo. The one that was sent is nearly black. See photo
LiveAuctioneers as a platform for auctioneer companies worldwide fails to provide customer service needs for buyers as well as sellers. When concerns and complainants are forwarded to LiveAuctioneers customer support they fail to respond. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND USE INVALUABLE FOR YOUR AUCTIONEER PURCHASE NEEDS.
Was a frequent user of Live Auctioneers until I discovered a disturbing trend. I entered a second bid on an iotem, my first and then was told on my platform that I was winning the item presently, I entered the next higher bid and then the platform entered that amount as my " leading amount ", not going to be present for live bidding I bid my max, just a little bit higher. Come time to see the results i won at my maximum bid. The auction house erases all other bids and numbers of bids on the item once it closes. Melancholy and suspicious, one of my colleagues entered a $7,000 maximum bid, a really ridiculous bid for an item at another " LA " auction with a $1,000 opening, which I watched live, and sure enough the platform opened the bid at $7,000 and awarded it to my colleague. LA says that they erase " all under bids " to save time of the platform, however, the item, A Gustav Gurshner centerpiece, wasn't worth that amount or anywhere close, and no under bidder amounts were shown or executed, the date of this auction was October 9,2022. Do not enter maximum bids with this company or you will get burned. It happens so much now that " LA " put a in section in their information links answering the question, " am I bidding against myself? " which they deny and say it's proxy bidding on your behalf, yet during a live auction if you are the only bidder, they never show it to you if that is the case. Try it one day, enter two bids immediately after each other and see where " LA " places your winning or leading bid at. Take live screen videos with your cell phone as well.
I love to help others out buying from mostly restaurants but in this case its an Online Auction House, liveauctioneers.com. 3 separate times I was approved to bid and although I overbid final price I was denighed winning. I understanding that auctions are govered by when a bid is made and I clearly made these bids in plenty of time, once for $30 the winning bid was only $25. When the first item lost I was upset and asked why the hell I lost, reply was "No reason to use profanity" and I was going to be Banned from bidding for this one infraction. I appologised so later I again bid on something else, also clearly more that the winning bid and lost again. This time I more diplomatically asked why I lost, and got No Response. So I bid on a 3rd item for $65 and the winning bid was $25! I guess I won't be wasting my time trying to bid at liveauctioneers.com. They are not fairly doing business. Last time I reminded them that good auctions work for the buyer and seller. But this company I can't recommend, for anything!
I bid on a beautiful clear Star ruby and paid for it. They sent a milky, piece of cheap stone, like what you can find for a penny. I sent pictures of the item I received. The company refused to return the money back. On BBB they have a rating of 1.7 with tons of complaints from customers who have been scammed like this. This company it's dishonest and a rip off.
Bidders and Buyers Beware. The BBB rating of 1.2 is a clear indication of how this company conducts business. I bought what was supposed to be a vintage Barbie doll set. Upon opening it and picking up one doll (which was not a Mattel Barbie item, rather probably a dime or dollar store junk doll) broke into dozens of pieces, head fell off and arms fell off. Total Junk. Then the other supposed Barbie doll which was in terrible condition clothes (okay I saw that, so overlooked), but it WAS NOT a real Barbie doll. It also is a Regal junk light plastic doll as is in dollar stores. These were advertised as Vintage Barbie dolls. Total JUNK. Not at all usable. When I got in touch with LLC and the auction house Les Collectibles, I was told I should not expect quality, they are used products! Wow! I at least expect to get what I paid for and what was shown to me in the ad. I am filing complaint as well with BBB, but they already have many dozens of complaints there, ie. Look at the rating! Watch out! Do not use this Auction, you'll get ripped off. Also if you're Canadian, be aware that they will charge you in USD, even thought it is a Canadian auction site and auction house, it's going to be billed in USD. Underhanded deceptive devious practices. Very unhappy... never again! Watch out!
Do not buy from any of the auction houses on this site. You will pay double for any of these items. For example, a one ounce silver coin that retails on a precious metals exchange goes for 20.00 to 25.00 they charge almost double. This goes for all items. Especially BK Auctions, Pacific Global Auction, Mynt Auctions, Dennis Auctions, Richard L. Edwards Auctioneering will steal your money. Do your research before you buy anything from these people. This site should be regulated. Disgusting. I added a picture below. 58.00 dollars for a 1 ounce silver coin. ( I admit, I didn't know any better at the time. Disgusting.) This doesn't include the hammer price and the other fees.

If you still have questions after that, you can reach out to the Auction House directly either through the LiveAuctioneers portal or the Auction House's contact information that is on their Auctioneer page.
Answer: Hello, Are you talking about leaving feedback on Sitejabber or for an auction house that you had a purchase with?
Dear Cassandra,
Thank you for your review and I am sorry you've had a negative experience using our site.
Just to set clear expectations, we are a technology company and we provide the technology for our sellers to be able to host auctions and bidders to be able to bid online. Unfortunately, we are not able to police all lots sold on our platform but of course we expect the best from our sellers.
In order to better support you, please feel free to email us at info@liveauctioneers.com with the specific invoice.
We hope to see you bid through our site again!
