Won 3 lots. 2 of them had existing card info but still could not successfully pay for lots as their website invoice process continuously would not process payment. This was used before successfully. Tried numerous attempts to contact Live Auctioneeers help service and only received email responses wanting screenshots of errors. Even input totally new card only to have it fail as well. Tried numerous calls to the vender Key Coins to try to arrange for payment and gave up after 10 messages for a return call did not bring any response. The third lot was only a medium envelope size bundle of stamps I won for 5 dollars but they wanted 33 dollars to send!?
Deleting any app or contact info for this company may be the only answer.🙁
Liveauctioneers held an auction for coins and paper money for Key Date Coins. Everything was flawless. The auction went very well. My money was received with no problems. But I never received the items, and Key date Coins will not answer my calls, and Liveauctioneers says they can do nothing to help me, but continue to sell for Key Date.
I am positive I am one of hundreds that Liveauctioneers is happy to make commissions off of, but could care less if their customer's get what they bought. Class action suit?
They sold an item to a third-party for the same amount that I had bid on days before the auction. Texting back-and-forth, they said it was impossible. But I have proof that I had a bid in for the exact amount that they sold the item for. Their site is very unwieldy to work on and their service is very very poor. They have a very bad attitude.
An auction house falsely represented the painter of a painting we purchased and Live Auctioneer was absolutely no help in assisting us in recovering our money. Then on a second occurrence we reached out via phone and email on how to pay to avoid the online payment fee. We reached out every day for four days and never received a return email or call. On the fifth day they hit our credit card and charged the online payment fee. Additionally, we reported two auction houses that were operating in collusion to maximize auction prices. We never received a response.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Don't be a Fool! Don't use Live Auctioneers!
DONT USE LIVE AUCTIONEERS FOR BIDDING OR BUYING. JUST USE THEM TO SEE WHAT AUCTIONS HAVE THEN DEAL DIRECT WITH THE AUCTION HOUSE. LIVE AUCTIONEERS OFFER NO SERVICE NO PROTECTION NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCEPT BOTS AND FORMS. AUCTIONS HOPUSES HATE DEALING WITH LIVE AUCTIONEERS.
Too many hidden fees. Too many sellers not accepting credit cards, or charging exorbitant various fees. No problem solving mechanism. After all fees and S&H charges wound up paying almost double hammer price for the item won.
Went back to Ebay.

I noticed some items that I own for sale on Pinterest while doing some research. There were two seller names linked with my items, Pacific Global Auctions and Golden Gate Auctions. A quick look at their "collections" revealed that most of "their" watches were owned by me and had simply been "plucked" from 1stdibs. Needless to say, I had never authorized them to auction my items. I contacted them but they did not respond. I also contacted LiveAuctioneers. They basically told me it was not their problem. I cannot grasp how a company like LiveAuctioneers finds it worthwhile to have fraudulent dealers selling items on their platform that can never be delivered.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience with unauthorized listings and lack of communication. Can you please email us at info@liveauctioneers.com with more details so we can address the issue appropriately. Your feedback is vital in helping us improve our platform.
I won something almost a months ago. I was forced to contact customer service as the "auction house " didn't answered at all. I guess customer service were able to reach them. So they did: oh they're waiting for something else. Weeks gone, no merchandise no money. And you have to wait 7 days for an email answer. Well: this ruined the whole process. I warned you. Another very important point: I was happy with the 330 dollars price but so much additional expenses added I ended up with the fee you see and the auction house blackmailed me for more. The same one on gunbroker is 510 buyitnow, NEW. I received one in 3 days from gunbroker. These auction houses are busy with new auctions and don't hurry to service you when you paid them. And you are on your own.
Dear Attila,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m truly sorry to hear about the delays and the challenges you faced with customer service and communication from the auction house. Your frustration is completely understandable, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
It’s our goal to ensure a smooth and transparent process for all our bidders, and it sounds like we fell short in your case. I’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to the relevant teams to help improve our services.

An item was listed as a "Salvador Dali, hand signed" peice of art. Turned out it is fake. So, basically I got ripped off. Purchased it through liveauctioneers. Yes, they are not responsible, but since it was purchased through their site, I can't help but feel they are part of the process in selling fraudulent art. So, if you use them to purchase anything, buyer beware.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you faced with the artwork. We take concerns about authenticity seriously, and your feedback is important to us. Please send more information to info@liveauctioneers.com so we can look into this matter further. Your insights will help us improve our platform. Thank you!
On the liveauctioneers website, I sent a request to consign a few of my antiques and collectables.
I was reached out by a "trusted partner", who said they would be interested in the items
The auction house received the items, but refuses to sell or help return the items. My items have been stolen at this point.
I reached out to Liveauctioneers for help, via their email and phone number, and I was told that they cannot/will not assist. They are not responsible for any members on their website.
Even worse, they CC'd the auction house in the email, giving the auction company permission to do whatever they would like with my items.
Stay away from this company and their partners. They authorize theft on their platform with absolutely no recourse for their partners.
I’m very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how distressing this situation must be. However, we want to clarify that LiveAuctioneers cannot intervene in agreements between consignors and auction houses, as these are separate entities. We recommend reviewing your contract with the auction house for guidance on resolving this issue. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@liveauctioneers.com with any additional information, and we will do our best to assist you within our capacity. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Liveauctioneers is not designed to support bidders so buyers must be extremely cautious about any bids. I failed to do research on the items I bid for. After winning my items, I quickly found out that the certificates of authenticity from the auction house that sold my items were rarely provided and/or outright fakes. In contacting liveauctioneers and the auction house, there was no response from either until after my credit card was charged and liveauctioneers refused to take any responsibility for the process.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the items you won and the lack of communication. Your concerns are important, and we take them seriously. Please reach out to info@liveauctioneers.com with more details so we can address the issues you've faced. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Liveauctineers.com is a scam! Please be careful and aware. I lost 6000 euro in an auction 3 weeks ago. They are piece was never shipped and now it is offered again on their website for even more money. I won fair and square. They have sent the invoice with the account info and I transferred the payment. Now they are saying they are just the middle men and have nothing to do with it. Please be careful, it is a scam! I have all corespondents. Let me know if you need proof!
Dear Rijkaart,
LiveAuctioneers is a technology provider that helps connect bidders and auction houses online. We do not handle post sale issues like the shipping or delivery of items, and refunds.
We have not been able to get a hold of Caroline Nguyen, but we will continue to explore all avenues to contact the auction house. We will let you know as soon as we have an update for you. We apologize once more for all the inconvenience you've experienced regarding this sale.
If you have seen this lot listed somewhere else by this seller, please do email us at info@liveauctioneers.com with the direct link.

I had a problem with an auction house who sold through Live Auctioneers, The Auction house clearly misrepresented the description of an item I bought, I complained to Live auctioneers who did nothing but pass my messages to the auction house concerned which was useless to me.
This is the email I sent them which sums everything up.
Why do you see your job as just passing messages between me and the auction house, If you see that they are acting in a manner that is not in keeping with the morals of your company then why do you associate your selves with them.
Why does your award winning customer service department not answer the phone or return calls, Did they win an award for incompetence?
I will be calling my bank to void the transaction and leaving feedback about both the auction house and your inability to protect your clients.
Judge for yourself

Bought a $200 item.Shipping was about $150.Bought a similar item on ebay that was a little larger and framed and was charged $45 for shipping. Was told i could contact a third party and have them ship it.How can i do that when i live in Missouri and the auction house is in Florida?
Hello Steven,

Do not bid from Jupiter Auction in palm beach Florida they will only setup short windows of time to pickup items and they only have a few bidders making it look like many are bidding
Thank you for your feedback regarding Jupiter Auction. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We’d appreciate more details to address your concerns. Please send any additional information to info@liveauctioneers.com. Your insights help us improve our service!
Bought/ won object that had high"professional" appraisal & purportedly owned by famous historical figure. Milestone Auctions- auction house promoted by Live Auctioneers.
The object provenance was a complete fraud. - No Proof of provenance.
I provided proof of fraud and registered a complaint with Live Auctioneers. Was assigned a case number. Was told repeatedly "we also believe that all sales should be based upon accurate and transparent descriptions such that there is no tolerance for intentionally misleading information on our site"
Well. To sum it up succinctly - It's all B. S... and in other words- they are guilty of condoning and enabling crooks.
To read my correspondence with LiveAuctioneers.com illustrates that this companies policy regarding fraud is B. S. is attached in Jpeg form (edited for extraneous material). What more Proof do you need?
It's a hit or miss with this site. However, the misses are atrocious! You would think they would do a better job of responding to federal crimes like forged art work, and not providing what was paid for. I've dealt with multiple vendors on this platform who outright sell forged art! There are numerous feedback comments about the scam, and LiveAuctioneers do nothing to stop these companies! You have an obligation in these matters when you run a platform that provides access to scammers. Might as well be crypto! Shame on you and your unchecked capitalism!

Well what can I say? They don't mind their sellers peddling fakes and imports and they don't mind taking your money, but they do mind giving it back and do absolutely NOTHING to help you. In fact they keep sending emails promising that they are "looking into it", while doing SFA. While ultimately the auction houses are responsible for the shopping experience, my view is that the platform also has a role to protect customers from unscrupulous vendors. They do not, and I will NEVER use them again. Utter rubbish. EBay is better! Shop with them at your own risk.
Hello Elizabeth,

My 3 original authentic Art / paintings which I still own are reported sold on Live auctioneers & with ridiculous low prices... who did that? Why? As of date 3-22-2020 I am the sole owner since the 90"s!
Very disappointing to be the highest bidder for items according to one's screen, yet not "win" them. Live Auctioneers will never give an explanation or apology. What gives? Sometimes I wonder if I'm just being used to bid up prices for them. Know others who share this concern.
