My contact with Live Nation has been a most satisfying experience. I am sorry to hear that there has been some unpleasant reports but trust me, they were so professional with me I am almost lost for words in todays todays climate of companies taking people's money and not providing the services at professional level. The employee let's just call them (M) treated me with respect first and foremost. Neither of us played the blame game got right down to the business at hand. After a short conversation as they verified things I explained I was told my tickets were valid and although not the normal policy I would get them in the mail in a few days but they were actually expressed to me. Thank you for your courtesy and professionalism. No more pins and needles about the Show I'm to attend.
I get not refunding tickets unless a medical emergency, but not refunding fast lane pass when accidentally selected instead of chair rental is ridiculous. I meant to choose lawn chair rental and hit the wrong button. I immediately contacted customer service about the mistake and was denied. Now I am out $80. Never again, Live Nation!
Tickets are available but you can't chose which seats you get - and they give the first customers the worst of the available seats. Right in the middle of a row instead of 6 seats in. And there is no recourse or option to get a better seat. The worst part is that there are no options to get tickets for this show.
I purchased 4 tickets and VIP Parking Pass for Dead & Company at Star Lake Amphitheater 6/5/23. After I paid $724 for tickets including over $113 for service fees, they disclosed that the tickets were obstructed view. No way to change seats. Terrible customer service.
In the end, it didn't matter because we got to the show after waiting in traffic for 4.5 hours, only to see last few songs. LiveNation was robocalling ticket holders telling them traffic was a mess. They knew this would be a problem when they sold out the show. People were literally abandoning their cars on the highway. Their business practices are CRIMINAL.
If I could rate LiveNation as a ZERO, I would!
We bought box seat tickets along with VIP parking and entrance to the Gorge.because the venue was so mismanaged we didn't get to use the VIP anything because we, along with many other people, were stuck for hours in traffic.we were stuck in traffiic so long I saw people urinating on the side of the road. After over 3 hours of waiting we finally got the the venue after 10 pm. The employees at the Gorge were a bunch of untrained and idiotic high schoolers with no clue what they were doing. They didn't give a $#*! about what was happening around them. When I spoke with Live Nation employees they said "deal with it." Live Nation and the Gorge you have pissed a lot of people off so you better make this right.
I ordered a t-shirt for my wife's birthday. I alotted two weeks for its arrival. It was late. I had ordered a medium women's, when it finally arrived it was so small it would not fit a small child. I sent 6 emails asking about a return. No response. 3 months later, I get a response. They don't care about us customers at all. You can see by their current rating.
Drove for quite some time to go see a concert. Didn't get notified about the changing info that you needed to go to the concert about the Covied card. I had the tickets since July 2021 just to find out after perching a hotel and a parking spot that I wasn't able to get into the concert because you decided to change the info directly on October 4th. What happens if you don't have a computer or have data to get on the internet all the time to check on your tickets. Guess your out of luck. This experience was a butch of bull$#*! on your part Live Nation. Waited for 3 months for this concert just to get turned away. I will never buy tickets from you ever again.
I attended a livenation event August 3rd at Darian Lake. I am disabled and need a chair but you were not allowed to bring in your own so I pre-paid for 2 chair rentals and a blanket rental. When I arrived at the venue the place to get chair rentals and blankets was empty and nobody could help me. The very next morning I contacted livenation for a refund and their response is because the event is over they will not issue refunds. So they charged me over $100 for services they never provided and refused to refund it. It's not fair that to see an artist you have to deal with a company that will steal over $100 from you.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT PRE-PAY FOR CHAIR RENTALS OR BLANKETS IT'S A SCAM

I got in the event but my pre-sold chair rentals and blanket were not available nor were they refunded.
While purchasing tickets I had over 3 minutes left to finish my order, I placed my order and was notified that my time had ran up (which clearly still had over 3 minutes left on it) therefore messing up my order. I attempted to order more tickets to be told they were already sold out! I contacted costumer service (who I could hardly understand) for them to tell me there was nothing they could do. Awful experience!
I have 2 concerts in my area coming that I would like to go see. I've received pre-sale codes to purchase tickets to both. I keep receiving multiple errors trying to purchase these tickets. Literally have been trying off and on for 7 hours. From my desktop computer both Edge and Chrome, their app and a laptop. EVERYTHING comes up empty handed with a error message "it's not you, it's us." "Can't purchase from this device." I'll get to the payment screen but it's greyed out and I can't put my card # in. JUST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Recently I joined Livenation to purchase tickets. I normally purchase all my concert tickets through StubHub, but decided maybe I could save money. I purchased tickets to 2 different concerts. First of all the service fee is very very high. On my receipt for both purchases it stated that I would receive the tickets in 10 to 14 days. I contacted Livenation by live chat, to call them is a call to the abyss. I asked the person I chatted with if my tickets have been mailed and they told me they would be mailed soon. Now 3 weeks have gone by and I live chatted with them again only to find out that for the first concert the tickets aren't available to be mailed to me until August, and the other concert tickets were on "hold" and would be mailed to be within the next few days. I just want everyone to be aware, there is false advertising... In the future I will purchase my tickets from StubHub and pay the extra price.
Went to the Kem/Babyface concert and Live Nation charged $20 for parking, was told we could not bring in our lawn chairs, pay for rent a chair, no access to leaving out and come back in. On top of that it stormed earlier and we had to sit on the wet ground. We paid for lawn sitting so what couldn't sit in our lawn chairs. Live Nation is not the only one hurting in this pandemic. People just want to get out and have some fun, yet they put a damper on your outing. Live Nation have some passion for the people, we have been closed in house and limited for going on two years now.
Bought tickets for Sister Hazel. Was just looking for general admission, but the App was confusing enough that I bought GA plus brunch. Called them within 12 hours and told them all I wanted was the GA tickets. I can see if I held the tickets for weeks and then tried to exchange them, but this was less than 24 hours. They said they couldn't do anything and that I could try to sell the tickets on their site. So went to their site only to find that "sell my tickets" isn't available for the tickets I bought. Call back and they say try ticketsnow.com. Can't sell them there either. So you sell me tickets that I can't refund and can't sell. The airlines treat me better.
They are the hustlers, ghetto gangsters and cheats of the ticket industry and everyone at the customers service is going to Hell... they are the most unhelpful, condescending, and stupid customer service people I've ever encountered! They suck! Go through ticket master, Craigslist, or the actual venue to get tickets bc LIVENATION is horrible!
After checking all websites including Santana.com no mention of cancelation for the Ruoff venue July 8th. So we drove down from Chicago. After the EW&F ended they announced Santana postponed. Bull$#*!, they knew he would not be there so all had to go and enter. No refund offered because it's not canceled. Live Nation knew he would not be there. Never posted anything. So now we have a hotel that we would have to reserve, drive down again spending gas.
Bull$#*! all the way.
I tried to get a refund for a postponed concert. First, they wouldn't do the refund for tickets I purchased but transferred to my friends' accounts despite having all the information and paying for them using my credit card. It took me two days to get someone to answer my chat, and then the customer service representative literally closed the chat twice because I was looking for information he asked me for and I took a minute to find it. He kept typing "Hello?" despite that I asked him politity to please give me a minute to find that information. Really bad experience, I would try to avoid dealing with them at any cost in the future.
I attended this concert last night the concerts was the best But the security and staff sucked. What kind of metal concert do you haft to sit in your seat not move no dancing no moshing no headbanging no this no that. And if you did you had security and staff rushing you. I will never attend a event at this venue again. And another thing I was poorly labeled by a staff and harassed I have a medical condition to were if I get overwhelmed i pass out so I moved to the grass area to take a breather and this one female staff kept following me and harassing me mind you I had on my medical bracelet and the one they gave me there.
We were supposed to camp at the Gorge Amphitheater for the Lumineers concert on July 18th. I tested positive for covid that week and thought it was the right thing to do not to go to a concert and expose people. I had paid $321 dollars for camping in June and LiveNation could not have cared less. Zero refund. Absolutely AWFUL customer service. That is straight-up robbery.
Bought expensive tickets to see Big Time Rush at the TD Pavilion at the Mann on 6/28. Security was HORRIBLE, mean and ruined the show. Port a potties with no water, no toilet paper, nothing! Then security at the gate not letting me in with a small bag (unless we paid $10 for one of their bags…) with no advance notice on this policy, to security at the seats and bathrooms yelling at everyone like a drill Sargent, the experience was awful. My daughter and her boyfriend were so upset that they had to leave - there was no way to enjoy themselves. This was an important show and the staff absolutely ruined it. They had great seats (6th row) and had a terrible experience. How can I 1) complain to the right people about the terrible treatment by security and 2) request a refund.
I have been having more and more of these experiences with LIVE NATION and it is making us not want to go to concerts. I have been an avid concert goer for many years and spent big $$ on shows. Unless something changes, we will stop purchasing tickets. Security needs to do better, be nicer and use better judgement!
We arrive for Keith Urban concert on July 20th 2018 at shore line we never had any problem in past but on this day we arrived early for the show. Waited in line almost two hours to get in. At the last minute a guard approached us saying they are going let all AAA members in first witch cause us a delay to get in. Shore line said gates will open at 530pm concert starts at 730pm we able get in at 630pm so we only had a hour to get our shirts food and drinks we barely made it in for the opening act. Then we paid a lot money on tickets and we had stand for entire show. I was really disappointed with shoreline service and the staffs attitude with us just because we were not AAA member. People pay a lot of money to come to your shows treat us with some respect.
Had rain delay. Started concert without notifying us all who sat in our car for 90 minutes, Don Henley was great but only played for one hour. No encore. Felt like he took our money and ran.
Tip for consumers:
Would not see another concert at this venue. Too weather dependent.
VIP packages are a waste of money, reserved seating does not mean you will get the best seat location and can be seated behind people that pay 1/3 of the price.
Live nation will make their own rules regarding policies and restrictions regarding venues. I will go out of my way for now on to avoid doing business with them.
I have been emailing this company and Walnut Creek for three weeks. NOT one person has answered my questions. They respond with generic answers as to how I need to reach out to other for answers.
My question is " I bought the VIP deck access tickets. What time can I enter the venue?" THESE PEOPLE MAKE MONEY ON THESE ADD ON TICKETS. HOW DO THEY NOT HAVE THE ANSWERS?
Sold me an upgrade on seats, then disconnected the link to use. Took the money then when I called, they have no record. But, I have the bank statement and email with broken link which I will be seeking legal advice. Going to cost me more but shady businesses like this need to be put in the spot light. Never had a problem with ticket master, NEVER BUY ANYTHING THROUGH LIVENATION!
I still dont know how Live Nation / Ticket Master continue to be allowed to be a Monopoly. We do have "Anti-Trust" laws but they must be simply bribing officials? I've been to over 400 concerts, and dozens of Sporting and Theatre Events. Believe me when I tell you, it wasn't always this bad and shouldn't be today.
The fees continue to soar, I just paid over $90 in fees for 4 tickets, AND I can no longer get Hard Copies of my ticket, even though the additional $5 fee is still there. They're also now SCALPERS TOO! They now encourage scalping and get a cut of the "after Market" like some Crime Family getting a percentage. Which makes tickets harder to get and even more expensive. Then there is the Parking Prices once we get to the show.
TM/LN is contributing to the class divide in America, where only rich people can afford to go to a concert or game and get good seats. They are a shameful, greedy blight on society and need to be broken up like all Monopolies were supposed to be!
I went to a business conference which I paid over $1000 for and Live Nation security stole my special diet food. They are very unprofessional. Not recommended for business conferences.
