I am not a professional racer but race my Mustang for fun on a local track.And even though it is only for fun my aim is to win so when I started having problem shifting I decided I needed a better clutch. I bought a Spec Clutch for my racing Mustang. The shifting is so much smoother now and I can handle the track much better with the new clutch. When I mentioned I was having problems shifting gears with my old clutch and could not get the performance I needed another racer mentioned the Spec clutch so I decided to give a a try. I had purchased from LMPerformance a few years ago and was satisfied so decided to give them another shot. I am happy that I did. I got a good price and am happy with the clutch performance.
Deducted 25% from my refund for defective items! Why? Terrible customer service! The worst company I've ever dealt with.
Everything was perfect and the driver was really nice. Even helped me open it up and put it in the garage for me.

As you should know everyone is experiencing delays due to COVID restrictions and many vendors are working from home and have seen extended delays in everything from manufacturing to returns and cancellations.
I ordered a Spec flywheel from LMP, there was no mention that it was not in stock, they have it shipped from manufacturer to my home. It took almost a month for the fywheel to show up and it had the wrong dowel pins. ( it was pinned for a stock clutch and not the 10mm dowels of a spec clutch) I contacted LMP asking about why this happened and if they could just send me new 10mm dowel pins to could put in the flywheel. They were completly puzzled on my request and had me send pictures of my set up and part numbers. After a week of going back and forth with LMP i just sent and email over to SPEC customer service. Spec got back to me right away and sent me new dowels 2nd day. I got those and had a shop install them. After i had all that done LMP got back to me and asked me to send even more pictures of my flywheel and clutch combination (almost 2 weeks after i first contacted them) I reponded to them that it was already taken care of, i told them i talked to spec and they sent out the dowels right away. I had a shop install the new dowels and i sent LMP over the bill from the shop and said it would be great if they refunded me the $30 from the shop labor. I figured that would be cheaper than shipping back the flywheel and having a new one sent to me. This was part of the response i got "If a different part number was shipped that was on SPEC no us." The problem is, I ordered from LMP not directly from spec.
Overall I am not happy about how turned out, I will never order from LMP again and i would advise others to beware.
HI very sorry this happened. We did order the correct part from SPEC and SPEC did not ship the correct dowel pins. We were in contact with SPEC the instant you let us know this. I have actually emailed you a copy of our correspondence with SPEC about the issue so you can see for yourself we were not ignoring you. They required pictures and all the other information we asked for while corresponding with you. If it were up to me i would have wanted them to send you the correct parts the minute you said they were missing.
We do send with our order confirmations and with our tracking emails this statement: "*PRO TIP: LMPerformance knows how anxious you will be to start upgrading your vehicle with these awesome new parts but, please wait until your part arrives safely so you can inspect the contents of your package so you can make sure you have everything you need before taking your car apart to do your install :)" so as far as the labor charges, we are not responsible for labor charges, no company that i know of would pay for those labor charges; however in this case LMP is willing to help by paying your installation costs. PLEASE contact us via email or phone on Monday to make arrangements.

ETA’s are based on the MFG estimates of ship times. If a part is not In stock on the site we have to dropship them from the MFG. Due to extremely high demand and Covid restrictions lead times have increased recently and we anticipate lead times shrinking in the near future.
LMP uses several sources for products including the manufacturer and several wholesalers. We are very sorry for the delays; Manufactures are having a hard time obtaining materials to produce their products and this is not limited to just auto parts as this is happening across most industries.
