Locanto is Scam-packed. Until I tried AFFpassion.com I thought hookup sites were not my cup of tea. I guess it's just a good site that works out for most people. I hope they keep up the great work so that I can recommend them with clear conscience. Locanto is bad even for an ordinary fling. It's definitely the wrong place. Steer wide of it, it's 100% fake and rip off, created with one purpose: to wipe off peoples' bank accounts. Don't fall for these "ladies" - they are all fake!

I signed today with this dating web site, paid $28 usd. Stay well clear of Locanto because it is turning into scammers' paradise. There is no verification and no moderation. Scammers never get banned. Don't get excited with hundreds of emails - they are all coming from Ghana, Gambia and Nigeria scammers.

This is a ridiculous site, can never find my ad, never get any replies to any ads and if i do its computer generated.
Ask a question and if your lucky only reply u get is no where near related to question that i asked.

Only good for escorts (with fake photos) and glory holes it seems... be wary of scam ads in personals... most ads promising horny ladies home alone, dripping, willing to take any man no matter what age, shape, size or criminal background... wow!

I got burned bad last week by someone. Posing as a beautiful woman. Locanto appear to be revenue driven with little if any regard for the legitimacy of ads being published particularly in the personals section. The argument presented by some reviewers 'that we should be clever enough to out smart the scammers' (who are increasing at an alarming rate) is ridiculous if ads were properly vetted in the first place. A pre-requisite for any reputable advertising medium. Judging by the number of fake ads reported by other reviewers it seems Locanto has no moral compass whatsoever and should be avoided at all costs. One hopes that the necessary authorities will eventually catch up with this unscrupulous site.
