Wow, just WOW, i can NOT believe how absolutely terrible this dumb PIECE OF TRASH IS! *ahem* 1. The UI is trash. 2. the grading system is inaccurate and annoying. 3.when you get a question wrong, it just tells you the answer and starts the next question instead of telling you what you got wrong, AND it never teaches you the method you use to get the right answer!
Plus, i just hate it.
It sucks because if you get 2 or 3 questions wrong, you have to start all over again. And if you don't understand something and get it wrong on the 2nd try, it just gives you the answer without explanation. Never use this to teach it sucks. And I know cause I'm a im who is forced to do it.
Ok, why in the HECK is this even legal? I for real want to bash my head agenst the desk\table when i do this. And our school takes it as a grade and when i don't get "all" of my i-readys done, i get screamed at. Like bro.
I am a 5th grader that just went on a Kiss Kruise so I had to miss school and do a independent study thing where I have to do five freaking long math i-Ready lessons. I ready is so slow and boring wish my teacher could understand.
I hate Iready! It makes me sooooo behind on other schoolwork. Not to mention the fact that it doesn't help you at all in math and ELA. It takes so long to do and you can't skip the audio or when a character talks, which makes it take longer to do. Also, I can't go to Holiday World with my friends because of how behind I got. It's not my fault I have ADHD and can't focus well! To whoever made IReady...do better.
Hello Reader,
Even though this app was produced for learning, the lessons stress me out. Sometimes it takes me around 1 ½ hours to complete the instructions, only to fail the quiz and have to redo the lessons. Instead of making the person redo the lesson they could just make them redo the questions they missed. Overall doing the quiz could stress one out because the instructions aren't that helpful, and doing the quiz not knowing what it's about is the reason one is stressed doing the lessons. Also the instructions need to be updated, to adapt to one's mind and help them actually understand the lesson. I'm saying this from 3 years of experience, the only reason I did i-ready was because my school forces upper grade to do I-ready lessons. Which is stupid, just like school districts who force students do the lessons.^-^
I hate i ready so much they waste so much time teaching us nothing at all. The lessons consists of useless methods that never like to teach the original way of doing things. The teachers who like it like it because of the stupid power points that don't even teach so then they don't have to do their job. The stupid online lessons are so cringe and try to be relatable to the point where it's a waste of time that shouldn't be spent that way. The diagnostic by the way is so dumb, my current online 'learning path' isn't my level whatsoever.
They keep giving me lessons that I don't understand and isn't Iready supposed to teach me things? Well its not. They don't give me any background knowledge on what I'm supposed to be learning, and it just sucks I have to do this every morning. If I am ever going to continue using Iready I wan't to at least get backround knowledge on it if they are giving me a lesson.
Iready is a complete waste of time while you rot your brain. This is a dumpster fire of a way to teach us kids. This "I-Ready" is rotting my brain, as well as my classmates. Everybody in my class has atleast 8 bad experiences with it, and it absolutely rips the "FUN!" out of it. This absolute waste of time, should be deleted and not recreated on any kind of site online. Kids should have the freedom to literally choose how to be taught.
I'm a student in 7th grade that has to deal with this hellhole of a "learning website". They force you to go through a diagnostic that lasts up to hours depending on how much mental stamina you have, and can dehumanize you like a husk. Its incredibly demoralizing, and the actual questions that the "Characters" give you are terrible, and incredibly slow. And if you make a mistake, it goes even slower! Don't torture your kids with this.
I'm currently in 5th grade, but holy $#*!, it's pretty $#*!in boring. It could just be a problem if you're in grade 5's level, but they are boring to the point where I wanna sleep. The diagnostic is alright, BUT WHY CAN'T I SKIP THE INTRO? I don't wanna hear this random 6th grader talk about how not to rush and other $#*!. I just wanna get this over with the diagnostic, I think most kids would get that we have to not rush, you don't have to hammer it in. Here's another problem. The lessons are slow, with the characters talk like they're trying to explain to a 3 year old, this is fine if the student is in kindergarten, but in 5th grade, it ain't gonna work.
Can't there be more like geography, history, art, biography, stuff like that and it is kind of good it could teach people math or how to read but that's not enough
My laptop keeps saying Iready over and over again and opens Iready on its own. Other times it says Would you like to open iready? And the options are open iready or open iready. Also when I go to google slides, it says would you like to move to the next slide. Plus it asks me if I want to shut down my laptop. Please fix this
I am a 5th grader, and we have to do it almost Every Day! It is so boring and I feel like i am not learning anything out of it. Me and my classmates have to do it. I would be so desperate that, I would not even to a single lesson. I'd Rather Stick With The Learning Games That's For Sure! Or with other programs such as Reflex Math or Frax. Reflex Math is so much better. Nothing could be as worse as I-Ready. I could just go on and say worse, but I don't want to go too far. Anyways Thats's all i have say about I-Ready.
This is the only reason my child came home crying every day. It completely destroyed her self esteem and none of her friends or their parents liked it either. I-Ready in the begginning was fun for her but then there were the 1 hour lessons on iready and it was horrible. She had atleast 3 of them every day, and her teachers would constantly contact me to tell me that she was hysterical crying. We left that school and she is much better.
As a fifth grader I can say i gained no knowledge whatsoever. I cry every diagnostic and to the people who madethis f*cking $#*! website: go kill yourself. I see people having suicidal thoughts because of them not being on gradee level and all of this is because of you. Go f*ck yourselves:
The title evidently tells it all: I-Ready was atrociously created. I used to go to an elementary school and a middle school in the Bonsall Unified School District. (I recently transferred to a different middle school) Anyways, the school district was strongly contingent on education coming from I-Ready. This contingence led to the reduction of exuberance towards education through its platitudinous repetitions of already-intuitive information and its ambiguous explanations on an unknown topic. For example, when I was in 4th grade, I was performing at a 5th grade level in mathematics. Apparently, I was struggling with the lesson related to the powers of 10, due to its lack of strategic organization. Also, I usually had to figure out what the unknown concepts were meant to represent. I remember writing a letter to my district's superintendent that was meant to convince him to reduce the utilization of I-Ready in 6th grade. (In retrospect, I should've done it earlier)
Iready literally gave me an aneurysm. I opened the app and when my dog saw the purple haired gay girl he seized out and died. I had to hire a priest to expel the app from my Chromebook. What the skibidy doo doo shart? My dad made me redownload it for school and when he saw the homosexual hamster he started bleeding from his eyeballs and we had to bring him to the hospital he survived but he will never be the same.
This piece of $#*! is $#*!ing terrible they should really kill themselves iready a $#*!. Like who came up with this terrible $#*! $#*!. Like go $#*! urself. I learned how to $#*! a dog faster than learn $#*! from here.
How dare they take out learning games and they never helped me improve my understanding in ANYTHING, and the only thing that was helping me with times table was the learning games so bring them backkkk.
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
